ישבתי יֹשַׁבְתְּ֙ בַּלְּבָנ֔וֹן מקננתי מְקֻנַּ֖נְתְּ בָּֽאֲרָזִ֑ים מַה־ נֵּחַנְתְּ֙ בְּבֹא־ לָ֣ךְ חֲבָלִ֔ים חִ֖יל כַּיֹלֵדָֽה׃
וַיְהִ֗י מִקְצֵה֙ עֶשְׂרִ֣ים שָׁנָ֔ה אֲשֶׁר־ בָּנָ֥ה שְׁלֹמֹ֖ה אֶת־ שְׁנֵ֣י הַבָּתִּ֑ים אֶת־ בֵּ֥ית יְהוָ֖ה וְאֶת־ בֵּ֥ית הַמֶּֽלֶךְ׃
אַל־ תַּרְבּ֤וּ תְדַבְּרוּ֙ גְּבֹהָ֣ה גְבֹהָ֔ה יֵצֵ֥א עָתָ֖ק מִפִּיכֶ֑ם כִּ֣י אֵ֤ל דֵּעוֹת֙ יְהוָ֔ה ולא וְל֥וֹ נִתְכְּנ֖וּ עֲלִלֽוֹת׃
וּמָע֤וּךְ וְכָתוּת֙ וְנָת֣וּק וְכָר֔וּת לֹ֥א תַקְרִ֖יבוּ לַֽיהוָ֑ה וּֽבְאַרְצְכֶ֖ם לֹ֥א תַעֲשֽׂוּ׃
הִנֵּ֤ה הָאָדוֹן֙ יְהוָ֣ה צְבָא֔וֹת מְסָעֵ֥ף פֻּארָ֖ה בְּמַעֲרָצָ֑ה וְרָמֵ֤י הַקּוֹמָה֙ גְּדוּעִ֔ים וְהַגְּבֹהִ֖ים יִשְׁפָּֽלוּ׃
וְקַטָּ֤ת וְנֽ͏ַהֲלָל֙ וְשִׁמְר֔וֹן וְיִדְאֲלָ֖ה וּבֵ֣ית לָ֑חֶם עָרִ֥ים שְׁתֵּים־ עֶשְׂרֵ֖ה וְחַצְרֵיהֶֽן׃
רַבּ֤וּ ׀ מִשַּׂעֲר֣וֹת רֹאשִׁי֮ שֹׂנְאַ֢י חִ֫נָּ֥ם עָצְמ֣וּ מַ֭צְמִיתַי אֹיְבַ֣י שֶׁ֑קֶר אֲשֶׁ֥ר לֹא־ גָ֝זַ֗לְתִּי אָ֣ז אָשִֽׁיב׃
וַתֹּ֣אמֶר ל֗וֹ אֲדֹנִי֙ אַתָּ֨ה נִשְׁבַּ֜עְתָּ בַּֽיהוָ֤ה אֱלֹהֶ֙יךָ֙ לַֽאֲמָתֶ֔ךָ כִּֽי־ שְׁלֹמֹ֥ה בְנֵ֖ךְ יִמְלֹ֣ךְ אַחֲרָ֑י וְה֖וּא יֵשֵׁ֥ב עַל־ כִּסְאִֽי׃
וַיֵּ֜לֶךְ בְּדֶ֣רֶךְ ׀ מַלְכֵ֣י יִשְׂרָאֵ֗ל כַּאֲשֶׁ֤ר עָשׂוּ֙ בֵּ֣ית אַחְאָ֔ב כִּ֚י בַּת־ אַחְאָ֔ב הָ֥יְתָה לּ֖וֹ אִשָּׁ֑ה וַיַּ֥עַשׂ הָרַ֖ע בְּעֵינֵ֥י יְהוָֽה׃
הִשְׁבַּ֥עְתִּי אֶתְכֶ֖ם בְּנ֣וֹת יְרוּשָׁלָ֑͏ִם אִֽם־ תִּמְצְאוּ֙ אֶת־ דּוֹדִ֔י מַה־ תַּגִּ֣ידוּ ל֔וֹ שֶׁחוֹלַ֥ת אַהֲבָ֖ה אָֽנִי׃
אֲשֶׁ֨ר הָיָ֧ה דְבַר־ יְהוָ֛ה אֶל־ יִרְמְיָ֥הוּ הַנָּבִ֖יא אֶל־ עֵילָ֑ם בְּרֵאשִׁ֗ית מַלְכ֛וּת צִדְקִיָּ֥ה מֶֽלֶךְ־ יְהוּדָ֖ה לֵאמֹֽר׃
הֵ֤ם הִמְלִיכוּ֙ וְלֹ֣א מִמֶּ֔נִּי הֵשִׂ֖ירוּ וְלֹ֣א יָדָ֑עְתִּי כַּסְפָּ֣ם וּזְהָבָ֗ם עָשׂ֤וּ לָהֶם֙ עֲצַבִּ֔ים לְמַ֖עַן יִכָּרֵֽת׃
And the commandment, which was ordained to life, I found to be unto death.
The children of Besai, the children of Meunim, the children of Nephishesim,
Then said they all, Art thou then the Son of God? And he said unto them, Ye say that I am.
If I have made gold my hope, or have said to the fine gold, Thou art my confidence;
Draw nigh unto my soul, and redeem it: deliver me because of mine enemies.
A stone is heavy, and the sand weighty; but a fool’s wrath is heavier than them both.
Be wise now therefore, O ye kings: be instructed, ye judges of the earth.
And Pathrusim, and Casluhim, (of whom came the Philistines,) and Caphthorim.
bhuuyo-bhuuyo rayim id asya vardhayann abhinne khilye ni dadhaati devayum
indrasya yasya sumakhaM saho mahi shravo nRmNaM ca rodasii saparyataH
asminn ahan satpatiH puruhuuto marutvaan no bhavatv indra uutii
bhuvo nRRMsh cyautno vishvasmin bhare jyeSThash ca mantro vishvacarSaNe
hantaa vRtram indraH shuushuvaanaH praaviin nu viiro jaritaaram uutii
yuunaH sukSatraan kSayato divo nRRn aadityaan yaamy aditiM duvoyu
yo anuucaano braahmaNo yukta aasiit kaa svit tatra yajamaanasya saMvit
madhvaH punaanaaH kavibhiH pavitrair dyubhir hinvanty aktubhir dhanutriiH
adhi shriye duhitaa suuryasya rathaM tasthau purubhujaa shatotim
ذَلِكَ بِأَنَّ اللَّهَ هُوَ الْحَقُّ وَأَنَّ مَا يَدْعُونَ مِنْ دُونِهِ هُوَ الْبَاطِلُ وَأَنَّ اللَّهَ هُوَ الْعَلِيُّ الْكَبِيرُ
أَفَأَمِنُوا أَنْ تَأْتِيَهُمْ غَاشِيَةٌ مِنْ عَذَابِ اللَّهِ أَوْ تَأْتِيَهُمُ السَّاعَةُ بَغْتَةً وَهُمْ لَا يَشْعُرُونَ
إِنَّ الْمُصَّدِّقِينَ وَالْمُصَّدِّقَاتِ وَأَقْرَضُوا اللَّهَ قَرْضًا حَسَنًا يُضَاعَفُ لَهُمْ وَلَهُمْ أَجْرٌ كَرِيمٌ
قُلْ هُوَ الَّذِي أَنْشَأَكُمْ وَجَعَلَ لَكُمُ السَّمْعَ وَالْأَبْصَارَ وَالْأَفْئِدَةَ قَلِيلًا مَا تَشْكُرُونَ
