הִנֵּ֨ה חָזָ֤ק וְאַמִּץ֙ לַֽאדֹנָ֔י כְּזֶ֥רֶם בָּרָ֖ד שַׂ֣עַר קָ֑טֶב כְּ֠זֶרֶם מַ֣יִם כַּבִּירִ֥ים שֹׁטְפִ֛ים הִנִּ֥יחַ לָאָ֖רֶץ בְּיָֽד׃
וַיִּשְׂמְח֤וּ הָעָם֙ עַל־ הִֽתְנַדְּבָ֔ם כִּ֚י בְּלֵ֣ב שָׁלֵ֔ם הִֽתְנַדְּב֖וּ לַיהוָ֑ה וְגַם֙ דָּוִ֣יד הַמֶּ֔לֶךְ שָׂמַ֖ח שִׂמְחָ֥ה גְדוֹלָֽה׃
וְתַ֗חַת כִּ֤י אָהַב֙ אֶת־ אֲבֹתֶ֔יךָ וַיִּבְחַ֥ר בְּזַרְע֖וֹ אַחֲרָ֑יו וַיּוֹצִֽאֲךָ֧ בְּפָנָ֛יו בְּכֹח֥וֹ הַגָּדֹ֖ל מִמִּצְרָֽיִם׃
וּפָקַדְתִּ֨י עַל־ בֵּ֜ל בְּבָבֶ֗ל וְהֹצֵאתִ֤י אֶת־ בִּלְעוֹ֙ מִפִּ֔יו וְלֹֽא־ יִנְהֲר֥וּ אֵלָ֛יו ע֖וֹד גּוֹיִ֑ם גַּם־ חוֹמַ֥ת בָּבֶ֖ל נָפָֽלָה׃
וּמִמֶּ֗גֶד אֶ֚רֶץ וּמְלֹאָ֔הּ וּרְצ֥וֹן שֹׁכְנִ֖י סְנֶ֑ה תָּב֙וֹאתָה֙ לְרֹ֣אשׁ יוֹסֵ֔ף וּלְקָדְקֹ֖ד נְזִ֥יר אֶחָֽיו׃
וִֽידַעְתֶּ֕ם כִּ֚י שִׁלַּ֣חְתִּי אֲלֵיכֶ֔ם אֵ֖ת הַמִּצְוָ֣ה הַזֹּ֑את לִֽהְי֤וֹת בְּרִיתִי֙ אֶת־ לֵוִ֔י אָמַ֖ר יְהוָ֥ה צְבָאֽוֹת׃
ויאמרו וַיֹּ֥אמֶר אִֽישׁ־ יִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל אֶל־ הַחִוִּ֑י אוּלַ֗י בְּקִרְבִּי֙ אַתָּ֣ה יוֹשֵׁ֔ב וְאֵ֖יךְ אכרות־ אֶֽכְרָת־ לְךָ֥ בְרִֽית׃
כִּֽי־ אַתֶּ֣ם יְדַעְתֶּ֔ם אֵ֥ת אֲשֶׁר־ יָשַׁ֖בְנוּ בְּאֶ֣רֶץ מִצְרָ֑יִם וְאֵ֧ת אֲשֶׁר־ עָבַ֛רְנוּ בְּקֶ֥רֶב הַגּוֹיִ֖ם אֲשֶׁ֥ר עֲבַרְתֶּֽם׃
כִּ֣י ׀ עַל־ אַ֣ף יְהוָ֗ה הָיְתָ֤ה בִירוּשָׁלִַ֙ם֙ וּבִ֣יהוּדָ֔ה עַד־ הִשְׁלִכ֥וֹ אֹתָ֖ם מֵעַ֣ל פָּנָ֑יו וַיִּמְרֹ֥ד צִדְקִיָּ֖הוּ בְּמֶ֥לֶךְ בָּבֶֽל׃
וַיֹּ֣אמֶר שְׁמוּאֵ֗ל הַגִּ֤ישׁוּ אֵלַי֙ אֶת־ אֲגַג֙ מֶ֣לֶךְ עֲמָלֵ֔ק וַיֵּ֣לֶךְ אֵלָ֔יו אֲגַ֖ג מַעֲדַנֹּ֑ת וַיֹּ֣אמֶר אֲגָ֔ג אָכֵ֖ן סָ֥ר מַר־ הַמָּֽוֶת׃
וַיַּקְהֵ֥ל דָּוִ֛יד אֶת־ כָּל־ יִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל אֶל־ יְרֽוּשָׁלָ֑͏ִם לְהַעֲלוֹת֙ אֶת־ אֲר֣וֹן יְהוָ֔ה אֶל־ מְקוֹמ֖וֹ אֲשֶׁר־ הֵכִ֥ין לֽוֹ׃
וְהַבַּ֤יִת הַזֶּה֙ אֲשֶׁ֣ר הָיָ֣ה עֶלְי֔וֹן לְכָל־ עֹבֵ֥ר עָלָ֖יו יִשֹּׁ֑ם וְאָמַ֗ר בַּמֶּ֨ה עָשָׂ֤ה יְהוָה֙ כָּ֔כָה לָאָ֥רֶץ הַזֹּ֖את וְלַבַּ֥יִת הַזֶּֽה׃
כֹּ֤ה אָמַר֙ יְהוָ֣ה צְבָא֔וֹת כִּ֣י יִפָּלֵ֗א בְּעֵינֵי֙ שְׁאֵרִית֙ הָעָ֣ם הַזֶּ֔ה בַּיָּמִ֖ים הָהֵ֑ם גַּם־ בְּעֵינַי֙ יִפָּלֵ֔א נְאֻ֖ם יְהוָ֥ה צְבָאֽוֹת׃
וְאִ֗ישׁ כִּֽי־ יִמְכֹּ֤ר בֵּית־ מוֹשַׁב֙ עִ֣יר חוֹמָ֔ה וְהָיְתָה֙ גְּאֻלָּת֔וֹ עַד־ תֹּ֖ם שְׁנַ֣ת מִמְכָּר֑וֹ יָמִ֖ים תִּהְיֶ֥ה גְאֻלָּתֽוֹ׃
וַיֵּצְא֣וּ הֵ֗ם וְכָל־ מַֽחֲנֵיהֶם֙ עִמָּ֔ם עַם־ רָ֕ב כַּח֛וֹל אֲשֶׁ֥ר עַל־ שְׂפַת־ הַיָּ֖ם לָרֹ֑ב וְס֥וּס וָרֶ֖כֶב רַב־ מְאֹֽד׃
וְנָתַ֤תִּי אֵשׁ֙ בְּמִצְרַ֔יִם ח֤וּל תחיל תָּחוּל֙ סִ֔ין וְנֹ֖א תִּהְיֶ֣ה לְהִבָּקֵ֑עַ וְנֹ֖ף צָרֵ֥י יוֹמָֽם׃
כֹּֽה־ אָמַ֞ר יְהוָ֤ה צְבָאוֹת֙ אֱלֹהֵ֣י יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל הֵיטִ֥יבוּ דַרְכֵיכֶ֖ם וּמַֽעַלְלֵיכֶ֑ם וַאֲשַׁכְּנָ֣ה אֶתְכֶ֔ם בַּמָּק֖וֹם הַזֶּֽה׃
And Ner begat Kish; and Kish begat Saul; and Saul begat Jonathan, and Malchishua, and Abinadab, and Eshbaal.
And he answered and said unto them, I will also ask you one thing; and answer me:
And as they cried out, and cast off their clothes, and threw dust into the air,
Gird up thy loins now like a man: I will demand of thee, and declare thou unto me.
Acquaint now thyself with him, and be at peace: thereby good shall come unto thee.
And the LORD commanded the angel; and he put up his sword again into the sheath thereof.
And all the people came early in the morning to him in the temple, for to hear him.
He that hath a bountiful eye shall be blessed; for he giveth of his bread to the poor.
Then said some of them of Jerusalem, Is not this he, whom they seek to kill?
And another dieth in the bitterness of his soul, and never eateth with pleasure.
And he left them, and went away again, and prayed the third time, saying the same words.
Cursed be he that removeth his neighbour’s landmark. And all the people shall say, Amen.
The poor is hated even of his own neighbour: but the rich hath many friends.

Fret not thyself because of evil men, neither be thou envious at the wicked:
The LORD reigneth; let the earth rejoice; let the multitude of isles be glad thereof.
My tabernacle also shall be with them: yea, I will be their God, and they shall be my people.
For thou hast been a shelter for me, and a strong tower from the enemy.
And it came to pass, that when Jesus had finished these parables, he departed thence.
There were they in great fear: for God is in the generation of the righteous.
Whereupon he promised with an oath to give her whatsoever she would ask.
And he shall send Jesus Christ, which before was preached unto you:
yuuyaM na ugraa marutaH sucetunaariSTagraamaaH sumatim pipartana
vayaM ta ebhiH puruhuuta sakhyaiH shatroH-shatror uttara it syaama
tac chushraava bRhaspatiH kRNvann aMhuuraNaad uru vittam me asya rodasii
savitaa pashcaataat savitaa purastaat savitottaraattaat savitaadharaattaat
vasiSThasya stuvata indro ashrod uruM tRtsubhyo akRNod ulokam
नाहं वेदैर्न तपसा न दानेन न चेज्यया । शक्य एवंविधो द्रष्टुं दृष्टवानसि मां यथा
Χήρα καταλεγέσθω μὴ ἔλαττον ἐτῶν ἑξήκοντα γεγονυῖα, ἑνὸς ἀνδρὸς γυνή,
πάντες γὰρ οἱ προφῆται καὶ ὁ νόμος ἕως Ἰωάννου ἐπροφήτευσαν·
ἔλεγον δὲ πολλοὶ ἐξ αὐτῶν· Δαιμόνιον ἔχει καὶ μαίνεται· τί αὐτοῦ ἀκούετε;
ἡ δὲ Ἡρῳδιὰς ἐνεῖχεν αὐτῷ καὶ ἤθελεν αὐτὸν ἀποκτεῖναι, καὶ οὐκ ἠδύνατο·
فَإِنِ اسْتَكْبَرُوا فَالَّذِينَ عِنْدَ رَبِّكَ يُسَبِّحُونَ لَهُ بِاللَّيْلِ وَالنَّهَارِ وَهُمْ لَا يَسْأَمُونَ
