הִנֵּ֣ה אָ֠נֹכִי שָׂ֣ם אֶת־ יְרוּשָׁלַ֧͏ִם סַף־ רַ֛עַל לְכָל־ הָעַמִּ֖ים סָבִ֑יב וְגַ֧ם עַל־ יְהוּדָ֛ה יִֽהְיֶ֥ה בַמָּצ֖וֹר עַל־ יְרוּשָׁלָֽ͏ִם׃
וַיַּ֣רְא גִּדְע֔וֹן כִּֽי־ מַלְאַ֥ךְ יְהוָ֖ה ה֑וּא וַיֹּ֣אמֶר גִּדְע֗וֹן אֲהָהּ֙ אֲדֹנָ֣י יְהוִ֔ה כִּֽי־ עַל־ כֵּ֤ן רָאִ֙יתִי֙ מַלְאַ֣ךְ יְהוָ֔ה פָּנִ֖ים אֶל־ פָּנִֽים׃
וְאַתָּ֞ה הָשְׁלַ֤כְתָּ מִֽקִּבְרְךָ֙ כְּנֵ֣צֶר נִתְעָ֔ב לְב֥וּשׁ הֲרֻגִ֖ים מְטֹ֣עֲנֵי חָ֑רֶב יוֹרְדֵ֥י אֶל־ אַבְנֵי־ ב֖וֹר כְּפֶ֥גֶר מוּבָֽס׃
עַמִּים֙ הַר־ יִקְרָ֔אוּ שָׁ֖ם יִזְבְּח֣וּ זִבְחֵי־ צֶ֑דֶק כִּ֣י שֶׁ֤פַע יַמִּים֙ יִינָ֔קוּ וּשְׂפוּנֵ֖י טְמ֥וּנֵי חֽוֹל׃
כִּ֣י כֹ֤ה אָמַר֙ יְהוָ֣ה צְבָא֔וֹת אֶל־ הָֽעַמֻּדִ֔ים וְעַל־ הַיָּ֖ם וְעַל־ הַמְּכֹנ֑וֹת וְעַל֙ יֶ֣תֶר הַכֵּלִ֔ים הַנּוֹתָרִ֖ים בָּעִ֥יר הַזֹּֽאת׃
אִם־ חָפֵ֥ץ בָּ֙נוּ֙ יְהוָ֔ה וְהֵבִ֤יא אֹתָ֙נוּ֙ אֶל־ הָאָ֣רֶץ הַזֹּ֔את וּנְתָנָ֖הּ לָ֑נוּ אֶ֕רֶץ אֲשֶׁר־ הִ֛וא זָבַ֥ת חָלָ֖ב וּדְבָֽשׁ׃
וּבַחֹ֨דֶשׁ הַשְּׁבִיעִ֜י בְּאֶחָ֣ד לַחֹ֗דֶשׁ מִֽקְרָא־ קֹ֙דֶשׁ֙ יִהְיֶ֣ה לָכֶ֔ם כָּל־ מְלֶ֥אכֶת עֲבֹדָ֖ה לֹ֣א תַעֲשׂ֑וּ י֥וֹם תְּרוּעָ֖ה יִהְיֶ֥ה לָכֶֽם׃
שִֽׁפְעַ֨ת גְּמַלִּ֜ים תְּכַסֵּ֗ךְ בִּכְרֵ֤י מִדְיָן֙ וְעֵיפָ֔ה כֻּלָּ֖ם מִשְּׁבָ֣א יָבֹ֑אוּ זָהָ֤ב וּלְבוֹנָה֙ יִשָּׂ֔אוּ וּתְהִלֹּ֥ת יְהוָ֖ה יְבַשֵּֽׂרוּ׃
And if he do not these three unto her, then shall she go out free without money.
For he knoweth vain men: he seeth wickedness also; will he not then consider it?
And Saul was yet the more afraid of David; and Saul became David’s enemy continually.
Joshua therefore came unto them suddenly, and went up from Gilgal all night.

prograam piitiM vRSNa iyarmi satyaam prayai sutasya haryashva tubhyam
pra suSTuti stanayantaM ruvantam iLas patiM jaritar nuunam ashyaaH
فَلَمَّا جَهَّزَهُمْ بِجَهَازِهِمْ جَعَلَ السِّقَايَةَ فِي رَحْلِ أَخِيهِ ثُمَّ أَذَّنَ مُؤَذِّنٌ أَيَّتُهَا الْعِيرُ إِنَّكُمْ لَسَارِقُونَ
شَهِدَ اللَّهُ أَنَّهُ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا هُوَ وَالْمَلَائِكَةُ وَأُولُو الْعِلْمِ قَائِمًا بِالْقِسْطِ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا هُوَ الْعَزِيزُ الْحَكِيمُ
قَالَ ذَلِكَ بَيْنِي وَبَيْنَكَ أَيَّمَا الْأَجَلَيْنِ قَضَيْتُ فَلَا عُدْوَانَ عَلَيَّ وَاللَّهُ عَلَى مَا نَقُولُ وَكِيلٌ
يَوْمَ تُقَلَّبُ وُجُوهُهُمْ فِي النَّارِ يَقُولُونَ يَا لَيْتَنَا أَطَعْنَا اللَّهَ وَأَطَعْنَا الرَّسُولَا
