הֵ֣ן כֶּ֗סֶף אֲשֶׁ֤ר מָצָ֙אנוּ֙ בְּפִ֣י אַמְתְּחֹתֵ֔ינוּ הֱשִׁיבֹ֥נוּ אֵלֶ֖יךָ מֵאֶ֣רֶץ כְּנָ֑עַן וְאֵ֗יךְ נִגְנֹב֙ מִבֵּ֣ית אֲדֹנֶ֔יךָ כֶּ֖סֶף א֥וֹ זָהָֽב׃
מִנְעִ֤י רַגְלֵךְ֙ מִיָּחֵ֔ף וגורנך וּגְרוֹנֵ֖ךְ מִצִּמְאָ֑ה וַתֹּאמְרִ֣י נוֹאָ֔שׁ ל֕וֹא כִּֽי־ אָהַ֥בְתִּי זָרִ֖ים וְאַחֲרֵיהֶ֥ם אֵלֵֽךְ׃
נִגַּ֨שׂ וְה֣וּא נַעֲנֶה֮ וְלֹ֣א יִפְתַּח־ פִּיו֒ כַּשֶּׂה֙ לַטֶּ֣בַח יוּבָ֔ל וּכְרָחֵ֕ל לִפְנֵ֥י גֹזְזֶ֖יהָ נֶאֱלָ֑מָה וְלֹ֥א יִפְתַּ֖ח פִּֽיו׃
וַיִּקַּ֣ח גְּשֽׁוּר־ וַ֠אֲרָם אֶת־ חַוֺּ֨ת יָאִ֧יר מֵאִתָּ֛ם אֶת־ קְנָ֥ת וְאֶת־ בְּנֹתֶ֖יהָ שִׁשִּׁ֣ים עִ֑יר כָּל־ אֵ֕לֶּה בְּנֵ֖י מָכִ֥יר אֲבִי־ גִלְעָֽד׃
שלש אמות אמ"ש בנפש, רא"ש בט"ן וגוי"ה. ראש נברא מאש, בטן ממים, וגויה מרוח מכריע בנתיים:
וְאֶקְחָ֨ה פַת־ לֶ֜חֶם וְסַעֲד֤וּ לִבְּכֶם֙ אַחַ֣ר תַּעֲבֹ֔רוּ כִּֽי־ עַל־ כֵּ֥ן עֲבַרְתֶּ֖ם עַֽל־ עַבְדְּכֶ֑ם וַיֹּ֣אמְר֔וּ כֵּ֥ן תַּעֲשֶׂ֖ה כַּאֲשֶׁ֥ר דִּבַּֽרְתָּ׃
הַיְרֻצ֤וּן בַּסֶּ֙לַע֙ סוּסִ֔ים אִֽם־ יַחֲר֖וֹשׁ בַּבְּקָרִ֑ים כִּֽי־ הֲפַכְתֶּ֤ם לְרֹאשׁ֙ מִשְׁפָּ֔ט וּפְרִ֥י צְדָקָ֖ה לְלַעֲנָֽה׃
וְע֗וֹד בִּרְצוֹתִי֙ בְּבֵ֣ית אֱלֹהַ֔י יֶשׁ־ לִ֥י סְגֻלָּ֖ה זָהָ֣ב וָכָ֑סֶף נָתַ֤תִּי לְבֵית־ אֱלֹהַי֙ לְמַ֔עְלָה מִכָּל־ הֲכִינ֖וֹתִי לְבֵ֥ית הַקֹּֽדֶשׁ׃
וְחָֽפְרָה֙ הַלְּבָנָ֔ה וּבוֹשָׁ֖ה הַֽחַמָּ֑ה כִּֽי־ מָלַ֞ךְ יְהוָ֣ה צְבָא֗וֹת בְּהַ֤ר צִיּוֹן֙ וּבִיר֣וּשָׁלִַ֔ם וְנֶ֥גֶד זְקֵנָ֖יו כָּבֽוֹד׃
וַיֹּ֕אמֶר הִנֵּ֣ה שָׁמַ֔עְתִּי כִּ֥י יֶשׁ־ שֶׁ֖בֶר בְּמִצְרָ֑יִם רְדוּ־ שָׁ֙מָּה֙ וְשִׁבְרוּ־ לָ֣נוּ מִשָּׁ֔ם וְנִחְיֶ֖ה וְלֹ֥א נָמֽוּת׃
וְעָשִׂ֕יתָ אֵ֖ת חֲצַ֣ר הַמִּשְׁכָּ֑ן לִפְאַ֣ת נֶֽגֶב־ תֵּ֠ימָנָה קְלָעִ֨ים לֶחָצֵ֜ר שֵׁ֣שׁ מָשְׁזָ֗ר מֵאָ֤ה בָֽאַמָּה֙ אֹ֔רֶךְ לַפֵּאָ֖ה הָאֶחָֽת׃
וְנָתַ֣ץ אֶת־ הַבַּ֗יִת אֶת־ אֲבָנָיו֙ וְאֶת־ עֵצָ֔יו וְאֵ֖ת כָּל־ עֲפַ֣ר הַבָּ֑יִת וְהוֹצִיא֙ אֶל־ מִח֣וּץ לָעִ֔יר אֶל־ מָק֖וֹם טָמֵֽא׃
בָּנַ֕י עַתָּ֖ה אַל־ תִּשָּׁל֑וּ כִּֽי־ בָכֶ֞ם בָּחַ֣ר יְהוָ֗ה לַעֲמֹ֤ד לְפָנָיו֙ לְשָׁ֣רְת֔וֹ וְלִהְי֥וֹת ל֖וֹ מְשָׁרְתִ֥ים וּמַקְטִרִֽים׃
And he said, Nay, father Abraham: but if one went unto them from the dead, they will repent.
He may prepare it, but the just shall put it on, and the innocent shall divide the silver.
Then spake the chief butler unto Pharaoh, saying, I do remember my faults this day:
Alexander the coppersmith did me much evil: the Lord reward him according to his works:
I therefore so run, not as uncertainly; so fight I, not as one that beateth the air:
The LORD also will be a refuge for the oppressed, a refuge in times of trouble.

न मे पार्थास्ति कर्तव्यं त्रिषु लोकेषु किञ्चन । नानवाप्तमवाप्तव्यं वर्त एव च कर्मणि
ὥστε οὔτε ὁ φυτεύων ἐστίν τι οὔτε ὁ ποτίζων, ἀλλʼ ὁ αὐξάνων θεός.
αἰτεῖτε καὶ οὐ λαμβάνετε, διότι κακῶς αἰτεῖσθε, ἵνα ἐν ταῖς ἡδοναῖς ὑμῶν δαπανήσητε.
πίστει Μωϋσῆς μέγας γενόμενος ἠρνήσατο λέγεσθαι υἱὸς θυγατρὸς Φαραώ,
يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا لَا تُقَدِّمُوا بَيْنَ يَدَيِ اللَّهِ وَرَسُولِهِ وَاتَّقُوا اللَّهَ إِنَّ اللَّهَ سَمِيعٌ عَلِيمٌ
وَرَبُّكَ أَعْلَمُ بِمَنْ فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ وَلَقَدْ فَضَّلْنَا بَعْضَ النَّبِيِّينَ عَلَى بَعْضٍ وَآتَيْنَا دَاوُودَ زَبُورًا
وَرُسُلًا قَدْ قَصَصْنَاهُمْ عَلَيْكَ مِنْ قَبْلُ وَرُسُلًا لَمْ نَقْصُصْهُمْ عَلَيْكَ وَكَلَّمَ اللَّهُ مُوسَى تَكْلِيمًا
