וּמָ֣ה הָאָ֗רֶץ אֲשֶׁר־ הוּא֙ יֹשֵׁ֣ב בָּ֔הּ הֲטוֹבָ֥ה הִ֖וא אִם־ רָעָ֑ה וּמָ֣ה הֶֽעָרִ֗ים אֲשֶׁר־ הוּא֙ יוֹשֵׁ֣ב בָּהֵ֔נָּה הַבְּמַֽחֲנִ֖ים אִ֥ם בְּמִבְצָרִֽים׃
פֶּן־ תִּכְרֹ֥ת בְּרִ֖ית לְיוֹשֵׁ֣ב הָאָ֑רֶץ וְזָנ֣וּ ׀ אַחֲרֵ֣י אֱלֹֽהֵיהֶ֗ם וְזָבְחוּ֙ לֵאלֹ֣הֵיהֶ֔ם וְקָרָ֣א לְךָ֔ וְאָכַלְתָּ֖ מִזִּבְחֽוֹ׃
וַיֹּֽאמֶר־ לָ֥הּ הַמֶּ֖לֶךְ מַה־ לָּ֑ךְ וַתֹּ֗אמֶר הָאִשָּׁ֨ה הַזֹּ֜את אָמְרָ֣ה אֵלַ֗י תְּנִ֤י אֶת־ בְּנֵךְ֙ וְנֹאכְלֶ֣נּוּ הַיּ֔וֹם וְאֶת־ בְּנִ֖י נֹאכַ֥ל מָחָֽר׃
וַיָּבֵ֣א אֹתִ֗י אֶל־ פֶּ֙תַח֙ שַׁ֣עַר בֵּית־ יְהוָ֔ה אֲשֶׁ֖ר אֶל־ הַצָּפ֑וֹנָה וְהִנֵּה־ שָׁם֙ הַנָּשִׁ֣ים יֹֽשְׁב֔וֹת מְבַכּ֖וֹת אֶת־ הַתַּמּֽוּז׃
But in vain they do worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men.
A wise son heareth his father’s instruction: but a scorner heareth not rebuke.
For the day is near, even the day of the LORD is near, a cloudy day; it shall be the time of the heathen.
Avoiding this, that no man should blame us in this abundance which is administered by us:
Let Israel rejoice in him that made him: let the children of Zion be joyful in their King.
Be not afraid of sudden fear, neither of the desolation of the wicked, when it cometh.
And Hushai said unto Absalom, The counsel that Ahithophel hath given is not good at this time.
But ye denied the Holy One and the Just, and desired a murderer to be granted unto you;
Saying, God hath forsaken him: persecute and take him; for there is none to deliver him.
Then said Absalom, Call now Hushai the Archite also, and let us hear likewise what he saith.
Restore unto me the joy of thy salvation; and uphold me with thy free spirit.
अधर्मं धर्ममिति या मन्यते तमसा वृता । सर्वार्थान् विपरीतांश्च बुद्धिः सा पार्थ तामसी
ममैवांशो जीवलोके जीवभूतः सनातनः । मनःषष्ठानीन्द्रियाणि प्रकृतिस्थानि कर्षति
