וְרָחַ֨ץ אֶת־ בְּשָׂר֤וֹ בַמַּ֙יִם֙ בְּמָק֣וֹם קָד֔וֹשׁ וְלָבַ֖שׁ אֶת־ בְּגָדָ֑יו וְיָצָ֗א וְעָשָׂ֤ה אֶת־ עֹֽלָתוֹ֙ וְאֶת־ עֹלַ֣ת הָעָ֔ם וְכִפֶּ֥ר בַּעֲד֖וֹ וּבְעַ֥ד הָעָֽם׃
וּבַת־ כֹּהֵן֩ כִּ֨י תִהְיֶ֜ה אַלְמָנָ֣ה וּגְרוּשָׁ֗ה וְזֶרַע֮ אֵ֣ין לָהּ֒ וְשָׁבָ֞ה אֶל־ בֵּ֤ית אָבִ֙יהָ֙ כִּנְעוּרֶ֔יהָ מִלֶּ֥חֶם אָבִ֖יהָ תֹּאכֵ֑ל וְכָל־ זָ֖ר לֹא־ יֹ֥אכַל בּֽוֹ׃
וְאֵ֨לֶּה רָאשֵׁ֤י הַגִּבּוֹרִים֙ אֲשֶׁ֣ר לְדָוִ֔יד הַמִּתְחַזְּקִ֨ים עִמּ֧וֹ בְמַלְכוּת֛וֹ עִם־ כָּל־ יִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל לְהַמְלִיכ֑וֹ כִּדְבַ֥ר יְהוָ֖ה עַל־ יִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃
וַֽיַּעֲל֞וּ עַד־ נַ֣חַל אֶשְׁכּ֗וֹל וַיִּרְאוּ֙ אֶת־ הָאָ֔רֶץ וַיָּנִ֕יאוּ אֶת־ לֵ֖ב בְּנֵ֣י יִשְׂרָאֵ֑ל לְבִלְתִּי־ בֹא֙ אֶל־ הָאָ֔רֶץ אֲשֶׁר־ נָתַ֥ן לָהֶ֖ם יְהוָֽה׃
כֹּֽה־ אָמַ֞ר הָאֵ֣ל ׀ יְהוָ֗ה בּוֹרֵ֤א הַשָּׁמַ֙יִם֙ וְנ֣וֹטֵיהֶ֔ם רֹקַ֥ע הָאָ֖רֶץ וְצֶאֱצָאֶ֑יהָ נֹתֵ֤ן נְשָׁמָה֙ לָעָ֣ם עָלֶ֔יהָ וְר֖וּחַ לַהֹלְכִ֥ים בָּֽהּ׃
וַיֹּ֣אמֶר שְׁלֹמֹ֣ה לְכָל־ יִשְׂרָאֵ֡ל לְשָׂרֵי֩ הָאֲלָפִ֨ים וְהַמֵּא֜וֹת וְלַשֹּֽׁפְטִ֗ים וּלְכֹ֛ל נָשִׂ֥יא לְכָל־ יִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל רָאשֵׁ֥י הָאָבֽוֹת׃
וַיִּקַּ֨ח חִזְקִיָּ֧הוּ אֶת־ הַסְּפָרִ֛ים מִיַּ֥ד הַמַּלְאָכִ֖ים וַיִּקְרָאֵ֑ם וַיַּ֙עַל֙ בֵּ֣ית יְהוָ֔ה וַיִּפְרְשֵׂ֥הוּ חִזְקִיָּ֖הוּ לִפְנֵ֥י יְהוָֽה׃
וַ֠תִּכְתֹּב אֶסְתֵּ֨ר הַמַּלְכָּ֧ה בַת־ אֲבִיחַ֛יִל וּמָרְדֳּכַ֥י הַיְּהוּדִ֖י אֶת־ כָּל־ תֹּ֑קֶף לְקַיֵּ֗ם אֵ֣ת אִגֶּ֧רֶת הַפּוּרִ֛ים הַזֹּ֖את הַשֵּׁנִֽית׃
לָכֵ֗ן כֹּֽה־ אָמַ֤ר יְהוָה֙ אֶל־ מֶ֣לֶךְ אַשּׁ֔וּר לֹ֤א יָבֹא֙ אֶל־ הָעִ֣יר הַזֹּ֔את וְלֹֽא־ יוֹרֶ֥ה שָׁ֖ם חֵ֑ץ וְלֹֽא־ יְקַדְּמֶ֣נָּה מָגֵ֔ן וְלֹֽא־ יִשְׁפֹּ֥ךְ עָלֶ֖יהָ סֹלְלָֽה׃
גֵּ֣ר יָת֤וֹם וְאַלְמָנָה֙ לֹ֣א תַֽעֲשֹׁ֔קוּ וְדָ֣ם נָקִ֔י אַֽל־ תִּשְׁפְּכ֖וּ בַּמָּק֣וֹם הַזֶּ֑ה וְאַחֲרֵ֨י אֱלֹהִ֧ים אֲחֵרִ֛ים לֹ֥א תֵלְכ֖וּ לְרַ֥ע לָכֶֽם׃
קְח֤וּ עִמָּכֶם֙ דְּבָרִ֔ים וְשׁ֖וּבוּ אֶל־ יְהוָ֑ה אִמְר֣וּ אֵלָ֗יו כָּל־ תִּשָּׂ֤א עָוֺן֙ וְקַח־ ט֔וֹב וּֽנְשַׁלְּמָ֥ה פָרִ֖ים שְׂפָתֵֽינוּ׃
And seek not ye what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink, neither be ye of doubtful mind.
By mercy and truth iniquity is purged: and by the fear of the LORD men depart from evil.
While Peter yet spake these words, the Holy Ghost fell on all them which heard the word.
