וְטִ֣הַרְתִּ֔ים מִכָּל־ עֲוֺנָ֖ם אֲשֶׁ֣ר חָֽטְאוּ־ לִ֑י וְסָלַחְתִּ֗י לכול־ לְכָל־ עֲוֺנֽוֹתֵיהֶם֙ אֲשֶׁ֣ר חָֽטְאוּ־ לִ֔י וַאֲשֶׁ֖ר פָּ֥שְׁעוּ בִֽי׃
וּלְמִשְׁפְּח֣וֹת בְּנֵֽי־ מְרָרִי֮ הַלְוִיִּ֣ם הַנּוֹתָרִים֒ מֵאֵת֙ מַטֵּ֣ה זְבוּלֻ֔ן אֶֽת־ יָקְנְעָ֖ם וְאֶת־ מִגְרָשֶׁ֑הָ אֶת־ קַרְתָּ֖ה וְאֶת־ מִגְרָשֶֽׁהָ׃
וְעַתָּ֗ה לֹֽא־ אַתֶּ֞ם שְׁלַחְתֶּ֤ם אֹתִי֙ הֵ֔נָּה כִּ֖י הָאֱלֹהִ֑ים וַיְשִׂימֵ֨נִֽי לְאָ֜ב לְפַרְעֹ֗ה וּלְאָדוֹן֙ לְכָל־ בֵּית֔וֹ וּמֹשֵׁ֖ל בְּכָל־ אֶ֥רֶץ מִצְרָֽיִם׃
בַּמְּעָרָ֞ה אֲשֶׁ֨ר בִּשְׂדֵ֧ה הַמַּכְפֵּלָ֛ה אֲשֶׁ֥ר עַל־ פְּנֵי־ מַמְרֵ֖א בְּאֶ֣רֶץ כְּנָ֑עַן אֲשֶׁר֩ קָנָ֨ה אַבְרָהָ֜ם אֶת־ הַשָּׂדֶ֗ה מֵאֵ֛ת עֶפְרֹ֥ן הַחִתִּ֖י לַאֲחֻזַּת־ קָֽבֶר׃
וַ֠יָּבֹאוּ שְׁנֵ֨י הַמַּלְאָכִ֤ים סְדֹ֙מָה֙ בָּעֶ֔רֶב וְל֖וֹט יֹשֵׁ֣ב בְּשַֽׁעַר־ סְדֹ֑ם וַיַּרְא־ לוֹט֙ וַיָּ֣קָם לִקְרָאתָ֔ם וַיִּשְׁתַּ֥חוּ אַפַּ֖יִם אָֽרְצָה׃
אֱלֹהֵ֙ינוּ֙ הֲלֹ֣א תִשְׁפָּט־ בָּ֔ם כִּ֣י אֵ֥ין בָּ֙נוּ֙ כֹּ֔חַ לִ֠פְנֵי הֶהָמ֥וֹן הָרָ֛ב הַזֶּ֖ה הַבָּ֣א עָלֵ֑ינוּ וַאֲנַ֗חְנוּ לֹ֤א נֵדַע֙ מַֽה־ נַּעֲשֶׂ֔ה כִּ֥י עָלֶ֖יךָ עֵינֵֽינוּ׃
וְעָבַ֨ד הַלֵּוִ֜י ה֗וּא אֶת־ עֲבֹדַת֙ אֹ֣הֶל מוֹעֵ֔ד וְהֵ֖ם יִשְׂא֣וּ עֲוֺנָ֑ם חֻקַּ֤ת עוֹלָם֙ לְדֹרֹ֣תֵיכֶ֔ם וּבְתוֹךְ֙ בְּנֵ֣י יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל לֹ֥א יִנְחֲל֖וּ נַחֲלָֽה׃
עָנֵ֣ה וְאָמַ֗ר הָֽא־ אֲנָ֨ה חָזֵ֜ה גֻּבְרִ֣ין אַרְבְּעָ֗ה שְׁרַ֙יִן֙ מַהְלְכִ֣ין בְּגֽוֹא־ נוּרָ֔א וַחֲבָ֖ל לָא־ אִיתַ֣י בְּה֑וֹן וְרֵוֵהּ֙ דִּ֣י רביעיא רְֽבִיעָאָ֔ה דָּמֵ֖ה לְבַר־ אֱלָהִֽין׃
כְּרוּב־ אֶחָ֤ד מִקָּצָה֙ מִזֶּ֔ה וּכְרוּב־ אֶחָ֥ד מִקָּצָ֖ה מִזֶּ֑ה מִן־ הַכַּפֹּ֛רֶת עָשָׂ֥ה אֶת־ הַכְּרֻבִ֖ים מִשְּׁנֵ֥י קצוותו קְצוֹתָֽיו׃
וְכֹ֨ל הַֽהִקְדִּ֜ישׁ שְׁמוּאֵ֤ל הָרֹאֶה֙ וְשָׁא֣וּל בֶּן־ קִ֔ישׁ וְאַבְנֵ֣ר בֶּן־ נֵ֔ר וְיוֹאָ֖ב בֶּן־ צְרוּיָ֑ה כֹּ֚ל הַמַּקְדִּ֔ישׁ עַ֥ל יַד־ שְׁלֹמִ֖ית וְאֶחָֽיו׃
וַיִּגָּל֣וּ שְׁנֵיהֶ֔ם אֶל־ מַצַּ֖ב פְּלִשְׁתִּ֑ים וַיֹּאמְר֣וּ פְלִשְׁתִּ֔ים הִנֵּ֤ה עִבְרִים֙ יֹֽצְאִ֔ים מִן־ הַחֹרִ֖ים אֲשֶׁ֥ר הִתְחַבְּאוּ־ שָֽׁם׃
וְעַל־ יָדָם֩ חֵ֨יל צָבָ֜א שְׁלֹ֧שׁ מֵא֣וֹת אֶ֗לֶף וְשִׁבְעַ֤ת אֲלָפִים֙ וַחֲמֵ֣שׁ מֵא֔וֹת עוֹשֵׂ֥י מִלְחָמָ֖ה בְּכֹ֣חַ חָ֑יִל לַעְזֹ֥ר לַמֶּ֖לֶךְ עַל־ הָאוֹיֵֽב׃
וְסַלְעוֹ֙ מִמָּג֣וֹר יַֽעֲב֔וֹר וְחַתּ֥וּ מִנֵּ֖ס שָׂרָ֑יו נְאֻם־ יְהוָ֗ה אֲשֶׁר־ א֥וּר לוֹ֙ בְּצִיּ֔וֹן וְתַנּ֥וּר ל֖וֹ בִּירוּשָׁלָֽ͏ִם׃
וְאַתֶּ֗ם לֹֽא־ תִכְרְת֤וּ בְרִית֙ לְיֽוֹשְׁבֵי֙ הָאָ֣רֶץ הַזֹּ֔את מִזְבְּחוֹתֵיהֶ֖ם תִּתֹּצ֑וּן וְלֹֽא־ שְׁמַעְתֶּ֥ם בְּקֹלִ֖י מַה־ זֹּ֥את עֲשִׂיתֶֽם׃
וַיִּֽחַר־ אַ֥ף יְהוָ֖ה בַּאֲמַצְיָ֑הוּ וַיִּשְׁלַ֤ח אֵלָיו֙ נָבִ֔יא וַיֹּ֣אמֶר ל֗וֹ לָ֤מָּה דָרַ֙שְׁתָּ֙ אֶת־ אֱלֹהֵ֣י הָעָ֔ם אֲשֶׁ֛ר לֹא־ הִצִּ֥ילוּ אֶת־ עַמָּ֖ם מִיָּדֶֽךָ׃
He that passeth by, and meddleth with strife belonging not to him, is like one that taketh a dog by the ears.
And Jacob awaked out of his sleep, and he said, Surely the LORD is in this place; and I knew it not.
And he set the priests in their charges, and encouraged them to the service of the house of the LORD,

यत्तदग्रे विषमिव परिणामेऽमृतोपमम् । तत्सुखं सात्त्विकं प्रोक्तमात्मबुद्धिप्रसादजम्
चेतसा सर्वकर्माणि मयि संन्यस्य मत्परः । बुद्धियोगमुपाश्रित्य मच्चित्तः सततं भव
समं पश्यन्हि सर्वत्र समवस्थितमीश्वरम् । न हिनस्त्यात्मनाऽऽत्मानं ततो याति परां गतिम्
ἐκφέρουσα δὲ ἀκάνθας καὶ τριβόλους ἀδόκιμος καὶ κατάρας ἐγγύς, ἧς τὸ τέλος εἰς καῦσιν.
ἀποκριθεὶς δὲ Πέτρος καὶ οἱ ἀπόστολοι εἶπαν· Πειθαρχεῖν δεῖ θεῷ μᾶλλον ἢ ἀνθρώποις.
εἰ δὲ ἐγνώκειτε τί ἐστιν· Ἔλεος θέλω καὶ οὐ θυσίαν, οὐκ ἂν κατεδικάσατε τοὺς ἀναιτίους.
