וְיִבְחָ֥ר וֶאֱלִישׁ֖וּעַ וְנֶ֥פֶג וְיָפִֽיעַ׃
יְהוָ֤ה ׀ נְחֵ֬נִי בְצִדְקָתֶ֗ךָ לְמַ֥עַן שׁוֹרְרָ֑י הושר הַיְשַׁ֖ר לְפָנַ֣י דַּרְכֶּֽךָ׃
יָדַ֣עְתִּי יְ֭הוָה כִּי־ צֶ֣דֶק מִשְׁפָּטֶ֑יךָ וֶ֝אֱמוּנָ֗ה עִנִּיתָֽנִי׃
עֲבָדִים֙ מָ֣שְׁלוּ בָ֔נוּ פֹּרֵ֖ק אֵ֥ין מִיָּדָֽם׃
And the servants of Saul told him, saying, On this manner spake David.
For I was envious at the foolish, when I saw the prosperity of the wicked.
And they came over unto the other side of the sea, into the country of the Gadarenes.
For every beast of the forest is mine, and the cattle upon a thousand hills.
For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them.
Thou rulest the raging of the sea: when the waves thereof arise, thou stillest them.
Righteousness exalteth a nation: but sin is a reproach to any people.

tvaM ratham etashaM kRtvye dhane tvam puro navatiM dambhayo nava
asya made puru varpaaMsi vidvaan indro vRtraaNy apratii jaghaana
mandraM hotaaram ushijo yaviSTham agniM visha iiLate adhvareSu
shucibhraajaa uSaso navedaa yashasvatiir apasyuvo na satyaaH
ῥέα μὲν γὰρ φεύγεσκεν ὑπʼ ἐκ Τρώων ὀρυμαγδοῦ,
καὶ ὅτι ἐτάφη, καὶ ὅτι ἐγήγερται τῇ ⸂ἡμέρᾳ τῇ τρίτῃ⸃ κατὰ τὰς γραφάς,
βηλῷ ἔπι λιθέῳ· τοὶ δʼ ὡς ἴδον ὀφθαλμοῖσι
καὶ ταῦτα ποιήσουσιν ὅτι οὐκ ἔγνωσαν τὸν πατέρα οὐδὲ ἐμέ.
ἐν παντὶ εὐχαριστεῖτε· τοῦτο γὰρ θέλημα θεοῦ ἐν Χριστῷ Ἰησοῦ εἰς ὑμᾶς.
وَكَذَّبُوا وَاتَّبَعُوا أَهْوَاءَهُمْ وَكُلُّ أَمْرٍ مُسْتَقِرٌّ
ثُمَّ إِذَا كَشَفَ الضُّرَّ عَنْكُمْ إِذَا فَرِيقٌ مِنْكُمْ بِرَبِّهِمْ يُشْرِكُونَ
إِذْ هَمَّتْ طَائِفَتَانِ مِنْكُمْ أَنْ تَفْشَلَا وَاللَّهُ وَلِيُّهُمَا وَعَلَى اللَّهِ فَلْيَتَوَكَّلِ الْمُؤْمِنُونَ
