טֽוֹב־ רָ֭שׁ הוֹלֵ֣ךְ בְּתֻמּ֑וֹ מֵעִקֵּ֥שׁ דְּ֝רָכַ֗יִם וְה֣וּא עָשִֽׁיר׃
וּמִמֶּ֖גֶד תְּבוּאֹ֣ת שָׁ֑מֶשׁ וּמִמֶּ֖גֶד גֶּ֥רֶשׁ יְרָחִֽים׃
בְּדֶ֥רֶךְ אֲחוֹתֵ֖ךְ הָלָ֑כְתְּ וְנָתַתִּ֥י כוֹסָ֖הּ בְּיָדֵֽךְ׃
And Barnabas determined to take with them John, whose surname was Mark.
If his loins have not blessed me, and if he were not warmed with the fleece of my sheep;
Then Jonah prayed unto the LORD his God out of the fish’s belly,
Ye that stand in the house of the LORD, in the courts of the house of our God.
It came to pass also in the twelfth year, in the fifteenth day of the month, that the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,
Deceit is in the heart of them that imagine evil: but to the counsellors of peace is joy.
For a just man falleth seven times, and riseth up again: but the wicked shall fall into mischief.
And his disciples came to him, and awoke him, saying, Lord, save us: we perish.
The virgin of Israel is fallen; she shall no more rise: she is forsaken upon her land; there is none to raise her up.

τοίνυν ἐξερχώμεθα πρὸς αὐτὸν ἔξω τῆς παρεμβολῆς, τὸν ὀνειδισμὸν αὐτοῦ φέροντες.
ὢ πόποι ἀργυρότοξε Διὸς τέκος οὐ σύ γε βουλὰς
Μαρία δὲ εἱστήκει πρὸς ⸂τῷ μνημείῳ ἔξω κλαίουσα⸃. ὡς οὖν ἔκλαιεν παρέκυψεν εἰς τὸ μνημεῖον,
ὁ δὲ Πέτρος ⸂ἤγειρεν αὐτὸν⸃ λέγων· Ἀνάστηθι· καὶ ἐγὼ αὐτὸς ἄνθρωπός εἰμι.
