אֲשֶׁר־ חֲכָמִ֥ים יַגִּ֑ידוּ וְלֹ֥א כִֽ֝חֲד֗וּ מֵאֲבוֹתָֽם׃
פְּנֵ֥ה אֵלַ֗י וְחָ֫נֵּ֥נִי תְּנָֽה־ עֻזְּךָ֥ לְעַבְדֶּ֑ךָ וְ֝הוֹשִׁ֗יעָה לְבֶן־ אֲמָתֶֽךָ׃
כְּשֹׁמְרֵ֣י שָׂדַ֔י הָי֥וּ עָלֶ֖יהָ מִסָּבִ֑יב כִּי־ אֹתִ֥י מָרָ֖תָה נְאֻם־ יְהוָֽה׃
עַד־ אָ֤נָה ׀ תְּה֥וֹתְת֣וּ עַל אִישׁ֮ תְּרָצְּח֢וּ כֻ֫לְּכֶ֥ם כְּקִ֥יר נָט֑וּי גָּ֝דֵ֗ר הַדְּחוּֽיָה׃
אַל־ תַּחֲרֹ֣שׁ עַל־ רֵעֲךָ֣ רָעָ֑ה וְהֽוּא־ יוֹשֵׁ֖ב לָבֶ֣טַח אִתָּֽךְ׃
הֵ֣ן יַ֭הֲרוֹס וְלֹ֣א יִבָּנֶ֑ה יִסְגֹּ֥ר עַל־ אִ֝֗ישׁ וְלֹ֣א יִפָּתֵֽחַ׃
How can I myself alone bear your cumbrance, and your burden, and your strife?
And wine that maketh glad the heart of man, and oil to make his face to shine, and bread which strengtheneth man’s heart.
Then shall the seers be ashamed, and the diviners confounded: yea, they shall all cover their lips; for there is no answer of God.
And the whole assembly took counsel to keep other seven days: and they kept other seven days with gladness.
This people draweth nigh unto me with their mouth, and honoureth me with their lips; but their heart is far from me.
But when the sun was up, it was scorched; and because it had no root, it withered away.
For every one that useth milk is unskilful in the word of righteousness: for he is a babe.
And all the doors and posts were square, with the windows: and light was against light in three ranks.
There is none to plead thy cause, that thou mayest be bound up: thou hast no healing medicines.
The righteous eateth to the satisfying of his soul: but the belly of the wicked shall want.
And when they had brought their ships to land, they forsook all, and followed him.
aa no vishvaabhir uutibhiH sajoSaa brahma juSaaNo haryashva yaahi
asi bhago asi daatrasya daataasi maghavaa maghavadbhya indo
ahaM garbham adadhaam oSadhiiSv ahaM vishveSu bhuvaneSv antaH
ἀνοίξας δὲ ὁ Φίλιππος τὸ στόμα αὐτοῦ καὶ ἀρξάμενος ἀπὸ τῆς γραφῆς ταύτης εὐηγγελίσατο αὐτῷ τὸν Ἰησοῦν.
καὶ σύ, Καφαρναούμ, ⸂μὴ ἕως οὐρανοῦ ὑψωθήσῃ⸃; ἕως ⸀τοῦ ᾅδου ⸀καταβιβασθήσῃ.
