הָשֵׁב֩ תָּשִׁ֨יב ל֤וֹ אֶֽת־ הַעֲבוֹט֙ כְּבֹ֣א הַשֶּׁ֔מֶשׁ וְשָׁכַ֥ב בְּשַׂלְמָת֖וֹ וּבֵֽרֲכֶ֑ךָּ וּלְךָ֙ תִּהְיֶ֣ה צְדָקָ֔ה לִפְנֵ֖י יְהוָ֥ה אֱלֹהֶֽיךָ׃
כִּ֤י זָֽנְתָה֙ אִמָּ֔ם הֹבִ֖ישָׁה הֽוֹרָתָ֑ם כִּ֣י אָמְרָ֗ה אֵלְכָ֞ה אַחֲרֵ֤י מְאַהֲבַי֙ נֹתְנֵ֤י לַחְמִי֙ וּמֵימַ֔י צַמְרִ֣י וּפִשְׁתִּ֔י שַׁמְנִ֖י וְשִׁקּוּיָֽי׃
וַיְשַׁנּ֤וֹ אֶת־ טַעְמוֹ֙ בְּעֵ֣ינֵיהֶ֔ם וַיִּתְהֹלֵ֖ל בְּיָדָ֑ם ויתו וַיְתָיו֙ עַל־ דַּלְת֣וֹת הַשַּׁ֔עַר וַיּֽוֹרֶד רִיר֖וֹ אֶל־ זְקָנֽוֹ׃
כִּ֛י גַּם־ פְּעָמִ֥ים רַבּ֖וֹת יָדַ֣ע לִבֶּ֑ךָ אֲשֶׁ֥ר גַּם־ את אַתָּ֖ה קִלַּ֥לְתָּ אֲחֵרִֽים׃
וְזָכַרְתִּ֨י אֲנִ֧י אֶת־ בְּרִיתִ֛י אוֹתָ֖ךְ בִּימֵ֣י נְעוּרָ֑יִךְ וַהֲקִמוֹתִ֥י לָ֖ךְ בְּרִ֥ית עוֹלָֽם׃
Thy words have upholden him that was falling, and thou hast strengthened the feeble knees.
Arise, O LORD, into thy rest; thou, and the ark of thy strength.
He also shall be my salvation: for an hypocrite shall not come before him.
For I bear them record that they have a zeal of God, but not according to knowledge.
He is come to Aiath, he is passed to Migron; at Michmash he hath laid up his carriages:
