רפאנו רִפִּ֣ינוּ אֶת־ בָּבֶל֙ וְלֹ֣א נִרְפָּ֔תָה עִזְב֕וּהָ וְנֵלֵ֖ךְ אִ֣ישׁ לְאַרְצ֑וֹ כִּֽי־ נָגַ֤ע אֶל־ הַשָּׁמַ֙יִם֙ מִשְׁפָּטָ֔הּ וְנִשָּׂ֖א עַד־ שְׁחָקִֽים׃
וַיֹּאמֶר֩ דָּוִ֨ד אֶל־ יוֹאָ֜ב וְאֶל־ כָּל־ הָעָ֣ם אֲשֶׁר־ אִתּ֗וֹ קִרְע֤וּ בִגְדֵיכֶם֙ וְחִגְר֣וּ שַׂקִּ֔ים וְסִפְד֖וּ לִפְנֵ֣י אַבְנֵ֑ר וְהַמֶּ֣לֶךְ דָּוִ֔ד הֹלֵ֖ךְ אַחֲרֵ֥י הַמִּטָּֽה׃
Hast thou found honey? eat so much as is sufficient for thee, lest thou be filled therewith, and vomit it.
So he fled with all that he had; and he rose up, and passed over the river, and set his face toward the mount Gilead.
Keep me as the apple of the eye, hide me under the shadow of thy wings,
The calamity of Moab is near to come, and his affliction hasteth fast.
Who is this King of glory? The LORD strong and mighty, the LORD mighty in battle.

ὣς τὸν μὲν λίπε θυμός, ἐπʼ αὐτῷ δʼ ἔργον ἐτύχθη
وَنُرِيدُ أَنْ نَمُنَّ عَلَى الَّذِينَ اسْتُضْعِفُوا فِي الْأَرْضِ وَنَجْعَلَهُمْ أَئِمَّةً وَنَجْعَلَهُمُ الْوَارِثِينَ
وَلَا تُفْسِدُوا فِي الْأَرْضِ بَعْدَ إِصْلَاحِهَا وَادْعُوهُ خَوْفًا وَطَمَعًا إِنَّ رَحْمَتَ اللَّهِ قَرِيبٌ مِنَ الْمُحْسِنِينَ
