הֵ֣ן גּ֤וֹי לֹֽא־ תֵדַע֙ תִּקְרָ֔א וְג֥וֹי לֹֽא־ יְדָע֖וּךָ אֵלֶ֣יךָ יָר֑וּצוּ לְמַ֙עַן֙ יְהוָ֣ה אֱלֹהֶ֔יךָ וְלִקְד֥וֹשׁ יִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל כִּ֥י פֵאֲרָֽךְ׃
וַיִּתֵּ֞ן לִפְנֵ֨י אֲר֧וֹן יְהוָ֛ה מִן־ הַלְוִיִּ֖ם מְשָׁרְתִ֑ים וּלְהַזְכִּיר֙ וּלְהוֹד֣וֹת וּלְהַלֵּ֔ל לַיהוָ֖ה אֱלֹהֵ֥י יִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃
וּלְמִיָּמִ֗ים אֲשֶׁ֨ר צִוִּ֤יתִי שֹֽׁפְטִים֙ עַל־ עַמִּ֣י יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל וְהִכְנַ֖עְתִּי אֶת־ כָּל־ אוֹיְבֶ֑יךָ וָאַגִּ֣ד לָ֔ךְ וּבַ֖יִת יִֽבְנֶה־ לְּךָ֥ יְהוָֽה׃
הָעַמּוּדִ֣ים ׀ שְׁנַ֗יִם הַיָּ֤ם הָֽאֶחָד֙ וְהַמְּכֹנ֔וֹת אֲשֶׁר־ עָשָׂ֥ה שְׁלֹמֹ֖ה לְבֵ֣ית יְהוָ֑ה לֹא־ הָיָ֣ה מִשְׁקָ֔ל לִנְחֹ֖שֶׁת כָּל־ הַכֵּלִ֥ים הָאֵֽלֶּה׃
A day of the trumpet and alarm against the fenced cities, and against the high towers.
And there arose not a prophet since in Israel like unto Moses, whom the LORD knew face to face,
And the beeves were thirty and six thousand; of which the LORD’s tribute was threescore and twelve.
But the people held their peace, and answered him not a word: for the king’s commandment was, saying, Answer him not.

aa smaa rathaM vRSapaaNeSu tiSThasi shaaryaatasya prabhRtaa yeSu mandase
وَإِذَا قِيلَ لَهُمُ اتَّقُوا مَا بَيْنَ أَيْدِيكُمْ وَمَا خَلْفَكُمْ لَعَلَّكُمْ تُرْحَمُونَ
وَلَئِنْ قُتِلْتُمْ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ أَوْ مُتُّمْ لَمَغْفِرَةٌ مِنَ اللَّهِ وَرَحْمَةٌ خَيْرٌ مِمَّا يَجْمَعُونَ
