וַיִּשְׁמַ֣ע אַבְרָ֔ם כִּ֥י נִשְׁבָּ֖ה אָחִ֑יו וַיָּ֨רֶק אֶת־ חֲנִיכָ֜יו יְלִידֵ֣י בֵית֗וֹ שְׁמֹנָ֤ה עָשָׂר֙ וּשְׁלֹ֣שׁ מֵא֔וֹת וַיִּרְדֹּ֖ף עַד־ דָּֽן׃
וַיַּשְׁבַּ֣ע יְהוֹשֻׁ֔עַ בָּעֵ֥ת הַהִ֖יא לֵאמֹ֑ר אָר֨וּר הָאִ֜ישׁ לִפְנֵ֣י יְהוָ֗ה אֲשֶׁ֤ר יָקוּם֙ וּבָנָ֞ה אֶת־ הָעִ֤יר הַזֹּאת֙ אֶת־ יְרִיח֔וֹ בִּבְכֹר֣וֹ יְיַסְּדֶ֔נָּה וּבִצְעִיר֖וֹ יַצִּ֥יב דְּלָתֶֽיהָ׃
וַיֹּ֖אמֶר הִקְשִׁ֣יתָ לִשְׁא֑וֹל אִם־ תִּרְאֶ֨ה אֹתִ֜י לֻקָּ֤ח מֵֽאִתָּךְ֙ יְהִֽי־ לְךָ֣ כֵ֔ן וְאִם־ אַ֖יִן לֹ֥א יִהְיֶֽה׃
וְהֶעָנָ֗ן סָ֚ר מֵעַ֣ל הָאֹ֔הֶל וְהִנֵּ֥ה מִרְיָ֖ם מְצֹרַ֣עַת כַּשָּׁ֑לֶג וַיִּ֧פֶן אַהֲרֹ֛ן אֶל־ מִרְיָ֖ם וְהִנֵּ֥ה מְצֹרָֽעַת׃
And they were both righteous before God, walking in all the commandments and ordinances of the Lord blameless.
Notwithstanding ye would not go up, but rebelled against the commandment of the LORD your God:
Gomer, and all his bands; the house of Togarmah of the north quarters, and all his bands: and many people with thee.
makSuu kanaayaaH sakhyaM naviiyo raadho na reta Rtam it turaNyan
pavasva soma kratuvin na ukthyo .avyo vaare pari dhaava madhu priyam
yad gaayatre adhi gaayatram aahitaM traiSTubhaad vaa traiSTubhaM niratakSata
maa nindata ya imaam mahyaM raatiM devo dadau martyaaya svadhaavaan
وَلَئِنْ سَأَلْتَهُمْ مَنْ خَلَقَ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضَ لَيَقُولُنَّ اللَّهُ قُلِ الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ بَلْ أَكْثَرُهُمْ لَا يَعْلَمُونَ
