כִּי֩ אָנֹכִ֨י יָדַ֜עְתִּי אֶת־ הַמַּחֲשָׁבֹ֗ת אֲשֶׁ֧ר אָנֹכִ֛י חֹשֵׁ֥ב עֲלֵיכֶ֖ם נְאֻם־ יְהוָ֑ה מַחְשְׁב֤וֹת שָׁלוֹם֙ וְלֹ֣א לְרָעָ֔ה לָתֵ֥ת לָכֶ֖ם אַחֲרִ֥ית וְתִקְוָֽה׃
וְהוֹצִ֣יא אֶת־ כָּל־ הַ֠פָּר אֶל־ מִח֨וּץ לַֽמַּחֲנֶ֜ה אֶל־ מָק֤וֹם טָהוֹר֙ אֶל־ שֶׁ֣פֶךְ הַדֶּ֔שֶׁן וְשָׂרַ֥ף אֹת֛וֹ עַל־ עֵצִ֖ים בָּאֵ֑שׁ עַל־ שֶׁ֥פֶךְ הַדֶּ֖שֶׁן יִשָּׂרֵֽף׃
כִּ֤י אִם־ עָשׂוֹ֙ תַּֽעֲשׂ֔וּ אֶת־ הַדָּבָ֖ר הַזֶּ֑ה וּבָ֣אוּ בְשַׁעֲרֵ֣י הַבַּ֣יִת הַזֶּ֡ה מְלָכִים֩ יֹשְׁבִ֨ים לְדָוִ֜ד עַל־ כִּסְא֗וֹ רֹֽכְבִים֙ בָּרֶ֣כֶב וּבַסּוּסִ֔ים ה֥וּא ועבדו וַעֲבָדָ֖יו וְעַמּֽוֹ׃
וְהֶחֱזִיקוּ֩ שֶׁ֨בַע נָשִׁ֜ים בְּאִ֣ישׁ אֶחָ֗ד בַּיּ֤וֹם הַהוּא֙ לֵאמֹ֔ר לַחְמֵ֣נוּ נֹאכֵ֔ל וְשִׂמְלָתֵ֖נוּ נִלְבָּ֑שׁ רַ֗ק יִקָּרֵ֤א שִׁמְךָ֙ עָלֵ֔ינוּ אֱסֹ֖ף חֶרְפָּתֵֽנוּ׃
פַּרְשֶׁ֣גֶן אִ֠גַּרְתָּא דִּֽי־ שְׁלַ֞ח תַּתְּנַ֣י ׀ פַּחַ֣ת עֲבַֽר־ נַהֲרָ֗ה וּשְׁתַ֤ר בּוֹזְנַי֙ וּכְנָ֣וָתֵ֔הּ אֲפַ֨רְסְכָיֵ֔א דִּ֖י בַּעֲבַ֣ר נַהֲרָ֑ה עַל־ דָּרְיָ֖וֶשׁ מַלְכָּֽא׃
אַל־ תִּתֵּ֤ן אֶת־ פִּ֙יךָ֙ לַחֲטִ֣יא אֶת־ בְּשָׂרֶ֔ךָ וְאַל־ תֹּאמַר֙ לִפְנֵ֣י הַמַּלְאָ֔ךְ כִּ֥י שְׁגָגָ֖ה הִ֑יא לָ֣מָּה יִקְצֹ֤ף הָֽאֱלֹהִים֙ עַל־ קוֹלֶ֔ךָ וְחִבֵּ֖ל אֶת־ מַעֲשֵׂ֥ה יָדֶֽיךָ׃
וְזֹ֣את הַמִּצְוָ֗ה הַֽחֻקִּים֙ וְהַמִּשְׁפָּטִ֔ים אֲשֶׁ֥ר צִוָּ֛ה יְהוָ֥ה אֱלֹהֵיכֶ֖ם לְלַמֵּ֣ד אֶתְכֶ֑ם לַעֲשׂ֣וֹת בָּאָ֔רֶץ אֲשֶׁ֥ר אַתֶּ֛ם עֹבְרִ֥ים שָׁ֖מָּה לְרִשְׁתָּֽהּ׃
חָלִ֨לָה לְּךָ֜ מֵעֲשֹׂ֣ת ׀ כַּדָּבָ֣ר הַזֶּ֗ה לְהָמִ֤ית צַדִּיק֙ עִם־ רָשָׁ֔ע וְהָיָ֥ה כַצַדִּ֖יק כָּרָשָׁ֑ע חָלִ֣לָה לָּ֔ךְ הֲשֹׁפֵט֙ כָּל־ הָאָ֔רֶץ לֹ֥א יַעֲשֶׂ֖ה מִשְׁפָּֽט׃
וְעַל־ יָד֡וֹ עֵ֣דֶן וּ֠מִנְיָמִן וְיֵשׁ֨וּעַ וּֽשְׁמַֽעְיָ֜הוּ אֲמַרְיָ֧הוּ וּשְׁכַנְיָ֛הוּ בְּעָרֵ֥י הַכֹּהֲנִ֖ים בֶּאֱמוּנָ֑ה לָתֵ֤ת לַאֲחֵיהֶם֙ בְּמַחְלְק֔וֹת כַּגָּד֖וֹל כַּקָּטָֽן׃
וְאֶת־ כָּל־ נָשֶׁ֣יךָ וְאֶת־ בָּנֶ֗יךָ מֽוֹצִאִים֙ אֶל־ הַכַּשְׂדִּ֔ים וְאַתָּ֖ה לֹא־ תִמָּלֵ֣ט מִיָּדָ֑ם כִּ֣י בְיַ֤ד מֶֽלֶךְ־ בָּבֶל֙ תִּתָּפֵ֔שׂ וְאֶת־ הָעִ֥יר הַזֹּ֖את תִּשְׂרֹ֥ף בָּאֵֽשׁ׃
וּפְאַת־ נֶ֗גְבָּה חֲמֵ֨שׁ מֵא֜וֹת וְאַרְבַּ֤עַת אֲלָפִים֙ מִדָּ֔ה וּשְׁעָרִ֖ים שְׁלֹשָׁ֑ה שַׁ֣עַר שִׁמְע֞וֹן אֶחָ֗ד שַׁ֤עַר יִשָּׂשכָר֙ אֶחָ֔ד שַׁ֥עַר זְבוּלֻ֖ן אֶחָֽד׃
כִּי־ כֹ֣ה ׀ אָמַ֣ר יְהוָ֗ה הִ֠נֵּה אֲשֶׁר־ אֵ֨ין מִשְׁפָּטָ֜ם לִשְׁתּ֤וֹת הַכּוֹס֙ שָׁת֣וֹ יִשְׁתּ֔וּ וְאַתָּ֣ה ה֔וּא נָקֹ֖ה תִּנָּקֶ֑ה לֹ֣א תִנָּקֶ֔ה כִּ֥י שָׁתֹ֖ה תִּשְׁתֶּֽה׃
וְֽיָדַעְתָּ֮ כִּֽי־ אֲנִ֣י יְהוָה֒ שָׁמַ֣עְתִּי ׀ אֶת־ כָּל־ נָאָֽצוֹתֶ֗יךָ אֲשֶׁ֥ר אָמַ֛רְתָּ עַל־ הָרֵ֥י יִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל לֵאמֹ֣ר ׀ שממה שָׁמֵ֑מוּ לָ֥נוּ נִתְּנ֖וּ לְאָכְלָֽה׃
וַיֹּ֨אמֶר דָּוִ֜ד אֶל־ יְהוֹנָתָ֗ן הִֽנֵּה־ חֹ֙דֶשׁ֙ מָחָ֔ר וְאָנֹכִ֛י יָשֹׁב־ אֵשֵׁ֥ב עִם־ הַמֶּ֖לֶךְ לֶאֱכ֑וֹל וְשִׁלַּחְתַּ֙נִי֙ וְנִסְתַּרְתִּ֣י בַשָּׂדֶ֔ה עַ֖ד הָעֶ֥רֶב הַשְּׁלִשִֽׁית׃
וַיִּוָּעַץ֙ אֶל־ הָעָ֔ם וַיַּעֲמֵ֤ד מְשֹֽׁרֲרִים֙ לַיהוָ֔ה וּֽמְהַֽלְלִ֖ים לְהַדְרַת־ קֹ֑דֶשׁ בְּצֵאת֙ לִפְנֵ֣י הֶֽחָל֔וּץ וְאֹֽמְרִים֙ הוֹד֣וּ לַיהוָ֔ה כִּ֥י לְעוֹלָ֖ם חַסְדּֽוֹ׃
Therefore the ungodly shall not stand in the judgment, nor sinners in the congregation of the righteous.
