O LORD, how great are thy works! and thy thoughts are very deep.
Let their habitation be desolate; and let none dwell in their tents.
And the fenced cities are Ziddim, Zer, and Hammath, Rakkath, and Chinnereth,
Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus:
Upon earth there is not his like, who is made without fear.
And Cain said unto the LORD, My punishment is greater than I can bear.

sa vraadhataH shavasaanebhir asya kutsaaya shuSNaM kRpaNe paraadaat
yo devo devatamo jaayamaano maho vaajebhir mahadbhish ca shuSmaiH
tudad ahiM harishipro ya aayasaH sahasrashokaa abhavad dharimbharaH
indraavaruNaa yad RSibhyo maniiSaaM vaaco matiM shrutam adattam agre
iishaanaad asya bhuvanasya bhuurer na vaa u yoSad rudraad asurya\m

sa na stipaa uta bhavaa tanuupaa daatraM rakSasva yad idaM te asme
svaraaL indro dama aa vishvaguurtaH svarir amatro vavakSe raNaaya
ashmaasyam avatam brahmaNas patir madhudhaaram abhi yam ojasaatRNat
yad rodasii pradivo asti bhuumaa heLo devaanaam uta martyatraa
indraagnibhyaaM kaM vRSaNo madanti taa hy adrii dhiSaNaayaa upasthe
Πουλυδάμας, καὶ πρῶτος ἐναντίος ἤλυθεν ἵππων.
τῷ μιν ἐεισάμενος προσέφη Διὸς υἱὸς Ἀπόλλων·
οἳ μὲν ἄρʼ ἐν προδόμῳ δόμου αὐτόθι κοιμήσαντο
ὃν πότμον γοόωσα λιποῦσʼ ἀνδροτῆτα καὶ ἥβην.
ὥς πού σε προσέφη, σοὶ δὲ φρένας ἄφρονι πεῖθε.
μακάριοι οἱ πενθοῦντες, ὅτι αὐτοὶ παρακληθήσονται.
ὅσσά κεν αὐτοὶ δῶσιν, ἑκὼν δʼ οὐκ ἄν τις ἕλοιτο·
ἀνδρὸς παιδοφόνοιο ποτὶ στόμα χεῖρʼ ὀρέγεσθαι.
كَذَلِكَ مَا أَتَى الَّذِينَ مِنْ قَبْلِهِمْ مِنْ رَسُولٍ إِلَّا قَالُوا سَاحِرٌ أَوْ مَجْنُونٌ
أَمْ تَحْسَبُ أَنَّ أَكْثَرَهُمْ يَسْمَعُونَ أَوْ يَعْقِلُونَ إِنْ هُمْ إِلَّا كَالْأَنْعَامِ بَلْ هُمْ أَضَلُّ سَبِيلًا
وَقَالَ الَّذِي نَجَا مِنْهُمَا وَادَّكَرَ بَعْدَ أُمَّةٍ أَنَا أُنَبِّئُكُمْ بِتَأْوِيلِهِ فَأَرْسِلُونِ
