Yet thou shalt be brought down to hell, to the sides of the pit.
Teach me, O LORD, the way of thy statutes; and I shall keep it unto the end.

aavRtaaso .avataaso na kartRbhis tanuuSu te kratava indra bhuurayaH
aad it te asya viirya\sya carkiran madeSu vRSann ushijo yad aavitha sakhiiyato yad aavitha
tam u stotaaraH puurvyaM yathaa vida Rtasya garbhaM januSaa pipartana
shishiitam indraaparvataa yuvaM nas tan no vishve varivasyantu devaaH
ugro yayiM nir apaH srotasaasRjad vi shuSNasya dRMhitaa airayat puraH
uta na iim maruto vRddhasenaaH smad rodasii samanasaH sadantu
tvaSTaa duhitre vahatuM kRNotiitiidaM vishvam bhuvanaM sam eti
yuvaM sanibhya stanayantam ashvinaapa vrajam uurNuthaH saptaasyam
vayo na ye shreNiiH paptur ojasaantaan divo bRhataH saanunas pari
shikSaa stotRbhyo maati dhag bhago no bRhad vadema vidathe suviiraaH
Ἐγένετο δὲ καὶ φιλονεικία ἐν αὐτοῖς, τὸ τίς αὐτῶν δοκεῖ εἶναι μείζων.
καθὼς Ἀβραὰμ ἐπίστευσεν τῷ θεῷ, καὶ ἐλογίσθη αὐτῷ εἰς δικαιοσύνην.
καὶ τοῦτο εἰπὼν ἐνεφύσησεν καὶ λέγει αὐτοῖς· Λάβετε πνεῦμα ἅγιον·
οἵτινες ἐλάβετε τὸν νόμον εἰς διαταγὰς ἀγγέλων, καὶ οὐκ ἐφυλάξατε.
ὁ μὴ ἀγαπῶν οὐκ ἔγνω τὸν θεόν, ὅτι ὁ θεὸς ἀγάπη ἐστίν.
εἴ πως παραζηλώσω μου τὴν σάρκα καὶ σώσω τινὰς ἐξ αὐτῶν.
يَا أَيُّهَا النَّبِيُّ لِمَ تُحَرِّمُ مَا أَحَلَّ اللَّهُ لَكَ تَبْتَغِي مَرْضَاتَ أَزْوَاجِكَ وَاللَّهُ غَفُورٌ رَحِيمٌ
لَوْ كَانَ فِيهِمَا آلِهَةٌ إِلَّا اللَّهُ لَفَسَدَتَا فَسُبْحَانَ اللَّهِ رَبِّ الْعَرْشِ عَمَّا يَصِفُونَ
قُلْ سِيرُوا فِي الْأَرْضِ فَانْظُرُوا كَيْفَ كَانَ عَاقِبَةُ الَّذِينَ مِنْ قَبْلُ كَانَ أَكْثَرُهُمْ مُشْرِكِينَ
وَلَقَدْ صَرَّفْنَا لِلنَّاسِ فِي هَذَا الْقُرْآنِ مِنْ كُلِّ مَثَلٍ فَأَبَى أَكْثَرُ النَّاسِ إِلَّا كُفُورًا
وَمَا أَرْسَلْنَا قَبْلَكَ إِلَّا رِجَالًا نُوحِي إِلَيْهِمْ فَاسْأَلُوا أَهْلَ الذِّكْرِ إِنْ كُنْتُمْ لَا تَعْلَمُونَ
إِلَّا الَّذِينَ تَابُوا وَأَصْلَحُوا وَبَيَّنُوا فَأُولَئِكَ أَتُوبُ عَلَيْهِمْ وَأَنَا التَّوَّابُ الرَّحِيمُ
