וַתָּבוֹא֩ הָאִשָּׁ֨ה אֶל־ כָּל־ הָעָ֜ם בְּחָכְמָתָ֗הּ וַֽיִּכְרְת֞וּ אֶת־ רֹ֨אשׁ שֶׁ֤בַע בֶּן־ בִּכְרִי֙ וַיַּשְׁלִ֣כוּ אֶל־ יוֹאָ֔ב וַיִּתְקַע֙ בַּשּׁוֹפָ֔ר וַיָּפֻ֥צוּ מֵֽעַל־ הָעִ֖יר אִ֣ישׁ לְאֹהָלָ֑יו וְיוֹאָ֛ב שָׁ֥ב יְרוּשָׁלַ֖͏ִם אֶל־ הַמֶּֽלֶךְ׃
לָכֵ֞ן כֹּה־ אָמַ֣ר ׀ אֲדֹנָ֣י יְהֹוִ֗ה הִנֵּ֨ה אַפִּ֤י וַֽחֲמָתִי֙ נִתֶּ֙כֶת֙ אֶל־ הַמָּק֣וֹם הַזֶּ֔ה עַל־ הָֽאָדָם֙ וְעַל־ הַבְּהֵמָ֔ה וְעַל־ עֵ֥ץ הַשָּׂדֶ֖ה וְעַל־ פְּרִ֣י הָֽאֲדָמָ֑ה וּבָעֲרָ֖ה וְלֹ֥א תִכְבֶּֽה׃
וַיְהִ֡י בִּימֵ֣י אָ֠חָז בֶּן־ יוֹתָ֨ם בֶּן־ עֻזִּיָּ֜הוּ מֶ֣לֶךְ יְהוּדָ֗ה עָלָ֣ה רְצִ֣ין מֶֽלֶךְ־ אֲ֠רָם וּפֶ֨קַח בֶּן־ רְמַלְיָ֤הוּ מֶֽלֶךְ־ יִשְׂרָאֵל֙ יְר֣וּשָׁלִַ֔ם לַמִּלְחָמָ֖ה עָלֶ֑יהָ וְלֹ֥א יָכֹ֖ל לְהִלָּחֵ֥ם עָלֶֽיהָ׃
וְאַ֣נְתְּ עֶזְרָ֗א כְּחָכְמַ֨ת אֱלָהָ֤ךְ דִּֽי־ בִידָךְ֙ מֶ֣נִּי שָׁפְטִ֞ין וְדַיָּנִ֗ין דִּי־ לֶהֱוֺ֤ן דאנין דָּאיְנִין֙ לְכָל־ עַמָּה֙ דִּ֚י בַּעֲבַ֣ר נַהֲרָ֔ה לְכָל־ יָדְעֵ֖י דָּתֵ֣י אֱלָהָ֑ךְ וְדִ֧י לָ֦א יָדַ֖ע תְּהוֹדְעֽוּן׃
וַיְדַבֵּ֨ר מֹשֶׁ֜ה אֶֽל־ אַהֲרֹ֗ן וְאֶ֣ל אֶ֠לְעָזָר וְאֶל־ אִ֨יתָמָ֥ר ׀ בָּנָיו֮ הַנּֽוֹתָרִים֒ קְח֣וּ אֶת־ הַמִּנְחָ֗ה הַנּוֹתֶ֙רֶת֙ מֵאִשֵּׁ֣י יְהוָ֔ה וְאִכְל֥וּהָ מַצּ֖וֹת אֵ֣צֶל הַמִּזְבֵּ֑חַ כִּ֛י קֹ֥דֶשׁ קָֽדָשִׁ֖ים הִֽוא׃
וַיָּבֹא֩ אַחְאָ֨ב אֶל־ בֵּית֜וֹ סַ֣ר וְזָעֵ֗ף עַל־ הַדָּבָר֙ אֲשֶׁר־ דִּבֶּ֣ר אֵלָ֗יו נָבוֹת֙ הַיִּזְרְעֵאלִ֔י וַיֹּ֕אמֶר לֹֽא־ אֶתֵּ֥ן לְךָ֖ אֶת־ נַחֲלַ֣ת אֲבוֹתָ֑י וַיִּשְׁכַּב֙ עַל־ מִטָּת֔וֹ וַיַּסֵּ֥ב אֶת־ פָּנָ֖יו וְלֹֽא־ אָ֥כַל לָֽחֶם׃
וַיֹּ֩אמְרוּ֩ ל֨וֹ הַחֲרֵ֜שׁ שִֽׂים־ יָדְךָ֤ עַל־ פִּ֙יךָ֙ וְלֵ֣ךְ עִמָּ֔נוּ וֶֽהְיֵה־ לָ֖נוּ לְאָ֣ב וּלְכֹהֵ֑ן הֲט֣וֹב ׀ הֱיוֹתְךָ֣ כֹהֵ֗ן לְבֵית֙ אִ֣ישׁ אֶחָ֔ד א֚וֹ הֱיוֹתְךָ֣ כֹהֵ֔ן לְשֵׁ֥בֶט וּלְמִשְׁפָּחָ֖ה בְּיִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃
וְשָׁחַ֞ט אֶת־ שְׂעִ֤יר הַֽחַטָּאת֙ אֲשֶׁ֣ר לָעָ֔ם וְהֵבִיא֙ אֶת־ דָּמ֔וֹ אֶל־ מִבֵּ֖ית לַפָּרֹ֑כֶת וְעָשָׂ֣ה אֶת־ דָּמ֗וֹ כַּאֲשֶׁ֤ר עָשָׂה֙ לְדַ֣ם הַפָּ֔ר וְהִזָּ֥ה אֹת֛וֹ עַל־ הַכַּפֹּ֖רֶת וְלִפְנֵ֥י הַכַּפֹּֽרֶת׃
בֶּן־ אָדָ֗ם שָׂ֤א קִינָה֙ עַל־ פַּרְעֹ֣ה מֶֽלֶךְ־ מִצְרַ֔יִם וְאָמַרְתָּ֣ אֵלָ֔יו כְּפִ֥יר גּוֹיִ֖ם נִדְמֵ֑יתָ וְאַתָּה֙ כַּתַּנִּ֣ים בַּיַּמִּ֔ים וַתָּ֣גַח בְּנַהֲרוֹתֶ֗יךָ וַתִּדְלַח־ מַ֙יִם֙ בְּרַגְלֶ֔יךָ וַתִּרְפֹּ֖ס נַהֲרוֹתָֽם׃
And the LORD said not that he would blot out the name of Israel from under heaven: but he saved them by the hand of Jeroboam the son of Joash.
