וַיְהִי֩ עֻזִּיָ֨הוּ הַמֶּ֜לֶךְ מְצֹרָ֣ע ׀ עַד־ י֣וֹם מוֹת֗וֹ וַיֵּ֜שֶׁב בֵּ֤ית החפשות הַֽחָפְשִׁית֙ מְצֹרָ֔ע כִּ֥י נִגְזַ֖ר מִבֵּ֣ית יְהוָ֑ה וְיוֹתָ֤ם בְּנוֹ֙ עַל־ בֵּ֣ית הַמֶּ֔לֶךְ שׁוֹפֵ֖ט אֶת־ עַ֥ם הָאָֽרֶץ׃
בַּחֹ֤דֶשׁ הָרִאשׁוֹן֙ הוּא־ חֹ֣דֶשׁ נִיסָ֔ן בִּשְׁנַת֙ שְׁתֵּ֣ים עֶשְׂרֵ֔ה לַמֶּ֖לֶךְ אֲחַשְׁוֵר֑וֹשׁ הִפִּ֣יל פּוּר֩ ה֨וּא הַגּוֹרָ֜ל לִפְנֵ֣י הָמָ֗ן מִיּ֧וֹם ׀ לְי֛וֹם וּמֵחֹ֛דֶשׁ לְחֹ֥דֶשׁ שְׁנֵים־ עָשָׂ֖ר הוּא־ חֹ֥דֶשׁ אֲדָֽר׃
וְלָקַ֣ח אֶת־ עֵֽץ־ הָ֠אֶרֶז וְאֶת־ הָ֨אֵזֹ֜ב וְאֵ֣ת ׀ שְׁנִ֣י הַתּוֹלַ֗עַת וְאֵת֮ הַצִּפֹּ֣ר הֽ͏ַחַיָּה֒ וְטָבַ֣ל אֹתָ֗ם בְּדַם֙ הַצִּפֹּ֣ר הַשְּׁחוּטָ֔ה וּבַמַּ֖יִם הַֽחַיִּ֑ים וְהִזָּ֥ה אֶל־ הַבַּ֖יִת שֶׁ֥בַע פְּעָמִֽים׃
כֹּה־ אָמַ֞ר כּ֣וֹרֶשׁ ׀ מֶ֣לֶךְ פָּרַ֗ס כָּל־ מַמְלְכ֤וֹת הָאָ֙רֶץ֙ נָ֣תַן לִ֗י יְהוָה֙ אֱלֹהֵ֣י הַשָּׁמַ֔יִם וְהֽוּא־ פָקַ֤ד עָלַי֙ לִבְנֽוֹת־ ל֣וֹ בַ֔יִת בִּירוּשָׁלַ֖͏ִם אֲשֶׁ֣ר בִּֽיהוּדָ֑ה מִֽי־ בָכֶ֣ם מִכָּל־ עַמּ֗וֹ יְהוָ֧ה אֱלֹהָ֛יו עִמּ֖וֹ וְיָֽעַל׃
וְלֹ֤א יִשְׁכְּבוּ֙ אֶת־ גִּבּוֹרִ֔ים נֹפְלִ֖ים מֵעֲרֵלִ֑ים אֲשֶׁ֣ר יָרְדֽוּ־ שְׁא֣וֹל בִּכְלֵֽי־ מִלְחַמְתָּם֩ וַיִּתְּנ֨וּ אֶת־ חַרְבוֹתָ֜ם תַּ֣חַת רָאשֵׁיהֶ֗ם וַתְּהִ֤י עֲוֺֽנֹתָם֙ עַל־ עַצְמוֹתָ֔ם כִּֽי־ חִתִּ֥ית גִּבּוֹרִ֖ים בְּאֶ֥רֶץ חַיִּֽים׃
כֹּ֣ה ׀ אָמַ֣ר יְהוָ֗ה הִנְנִ֣י נֹ֠תֵן אֶת־ פַּרְעֹ֨ה חָפְרַ֤ע מֶֽלֶךְ־ מִצְרַ֙יִם֙ בְּיַ֣ד אֹֽיְבָ֔יו וּבְיַ֖ד מְבַקְשֵׁ֣י נַפְשׁ֑וֹ כַּאֲשֶׁ֨ר נָתַ֜תִּי אֶת־ צִדְקִיָּ֣הוּ מֶֽלֶךְ־ יְהוּדָ֗ה בְּיַ֨ד נְבוּכַדְרֶאצַּ֧ר מֶֽלֶךְ־ בָּבֶ֛ל אֹיְב֖וֹ וּמְבַקֵּ֥שׁ נַפְשֽׁוֹ׃
כֹּה־ אָמַ֞ר אֲדֹנָ֣י יְהוִ֗ה הִנְנִ֨י אֶֽל־ הָרֹעִ֜ים וְֽדָרַשְׁתִּ֧י אֶת־ צֹאנִ֣י מִיָּדָ֗ם וְהִשְׁבַּתִּים֙ מֵרְע֣וֹת צֹ֔אן וְלֹא־ יִרְע֥וּ ע֛וֹד הָרֹעִ֖ים אוֹתָ֑ם וְהִצַּלְתִּ֤י צֹאנִי֙ מִפִּיהֶ֔ם וְלֹֽא־ תִהְיֶ֥יןָ לָהֶ֖ם לְאָכְלָֽה׃
וְהֵשִׁיב֩ יְהוָ֨ה אֶת־ דָּמ֜וֹ עַל־ רֹאשׁ֗וֹ אֲשֶׁ֣ר פָּגַ֣ע בִּשְׁנֵֽי־ אֲ֠נָשִׁים צַדִּקִ֨ים וְטֹבִ֤ים מִמֶּ֙נּוּ֙ וַיַּהַרְגֵ֣ם בַּחֶ֔רֶב וְאָבִ֥י דָוִ֖ד לֹ֣א יָדָ֑ע אֶת־ אַבְנֵ֤ר בֶּן־ נֵר֙ שַׂר־ צְבָ֣א יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל וְאֶת־ עֲמָשָׂ֥א בֶן־ יֶ֖תֶר שַׂר־ צְבָ֥א יְהוּדָֽה׃
וַיָּקֻ֣מוּ הַ֠לְוִיִּם מַ֣חַת בֶּן־ עֲמָשַׂ֞י וְיוֹאֵ֣ל בֶּן־ עֲזַרְיָהוּ֮ מִן־ בְּנֵ֣י הַקְּהָתִי֒ וּמִן־ בְּנֵ֣י מְרָרִ֔י קִ֚ישׁ בֶּן־ עַבְדִּ֔י וַעֲזַרְיָ֖הוּ בֶּן־ יְהַלֶּלְאֵ֑ל וּמִן־ הַגֵּ֣רְשֻׁנִּ֔י יוֹאָח֙ בֶּן־ זִמָּ֔ה וְעֵ֖דֶן בֶּן־ יוֹאָֽח׃
וַֽיִּלְכְּדָ֞הּ וְאֶת־ מַלְכָּ֤הּ וְאֶת־ כָּל־ עָרֶ֙יהָ֙ וַיַּכּ֣וּם לְפִי־ חֶ֔רֶב וַֽיַּחֲרִ֙ימוּ֙ אֶת־ כָּל־ נֶ֣פֶשׁ אֲשֶׁר־ בָּ֔הּ לֹ֥א הִשְׁאִ֖יר שָׂרִ֑יד כַּאֲשֶׁ֨ר עָשָׂ֜ה לְחֶבְר֗וֹן כֵּן־ עָשָׂ֤ה לִדְבִ֙רָה֙ וּלְמַלְכָּ֔הּ וְכַאֲשֶׁ֥ר עָשָׂ֛ה לְלִבְנָ֖ה וּלְמַלְכָּֽהּ׃
וַיֹּ֨אמֶר מֹשֶׁ֜ה אֲלֵהֶ֗ם אִם־ יַעַבְר֣וּ בְנֵי־ גָ֣ד וּבְנֵי־ רְאוּבֵ֣ן ׀ אִ֠תְּכֶם אֶֽת־ הַיַּרְדֵּ֞ן כָּל־ חָל֤וּץ לַמִּלְחָמָה֙ לִפְנֵ֣י יְהוָ֔ה וְנִכְבְּשָׁ֥ה הָאָ֖רֶץ לִפְנֵיכֶ֑ם וּנְתַתֶּ֥ם לָהֶ֛ם אֶת־ אֶ֥רֶץ הַגִּלְעָ֖ד לַאֲחֻזָּֽה׃
Whosoever putteth away his wife, and marrieth another, committeth adultery: and whosoever marrieth her that is put away from her husband committeth adultery.
And in every work that he began in the service of the house of God, and in the law, and in the commandments, to seek his God, he did it with all his heart, and prospered.

ἀσπάζεται ὑμᾶς Γάϊος ὁ ξένος μου καὶ ⸂ὅλης τῆς ἐκκλησίας⸃. ἀσπάζεται ὑμᾶς Ἔραστος ὁ οἰκονόμος τῆς πόλεως καὶ Κούαρτος ὁ ἀδελφός.
أَيَّامًا مَعْدُودَاتٍ فَمَنْ كَانَ مِنْكُمْ مَرِيضًا أَوْ عَلَى سَفَرٍ فَعِدَّةٌ مِنْ أَيَّامٍ أُخَرَ وَعَلَى الَّذِينَ يُطِيقُونَهُ فِدْيَةٌ طَعَامُ مِسْكِينٍ فَمَنْ تَطَوَّعَ خَيْرًا فَهُوَ خَيْرٌ لَهُ وَأَنْ تَصُومُوا خَيْرٌ لَكُمْ إِنْ كُنْتُمْ تَعْلَمُونَ
إِنْ تَكْفُرُوا فَإِنَّ اللَّهَ غَنِيٌّ عَنْكُمْ وَلَا يَرْضَى لِعِبَادِهِ الْكُفْرَ وَإِنْ تَشْكُرُوا يَرْضَهُ لَكُمْ وَلَا تَزِرُ وَازِرَةٌ وِزْرَ أُخْرَى ثُمَّ إِلَى رَبِّكُمْ مَرْجِعُكُمْ فَيُنَبِّئُكُمْ بِمَا كُنْتُمْ تَعْمَلُونَ إِنَّهُ عَلِيمٌ بِذَاتِ الصُّدُورِ
