וֽ͏ַיַּעֲל֞וּ חֲמֵ֣שֶׁת הָאֲנָשִׁ֗ים הַהֹלְכִים֮ לְרַגֵּ֣ל אֶת־ הָאָרֶץ֒ בָּ֣אוּ שָׁ֔מָּה לָקְח֗וּ אֶת־ הַפֶּ֙סֶל֙ וְאֶת־ הָ֣אֵפ֔וֹד וְאֶת־ הַתְּרָפִ֖ים וְאֶת־ הַמַּסֵּכָ֑ה וְהַכֹּהֵ֗ן נִצָּב֙ פֶּ֣תַח הַשַּׁ֔עַר וְשֵׁשׁ־ מֵא֣וֹת הָאִ֔ישׁ הֶחָג֖וּר כְּלֵ֥י הַמִּלְחָמָֽה׃
וְלֹא־ הוֹרִ֣ישׁ מְנַשֶּׁ֗ה אֶת־ בֵּית־ שְׁאָ֣ן וְאֶת־ בְּנוֹתֶיהָ֮ וְאֶת־ תַּעְנַ֣ךְ וְאֶת־ בְּנֹתֶיהָ֒ וְאֶת־ ישב יֹשְׁבֵ֨י ד֜וֹר וְאֶת־ בְּנוֹתֶ֗יהָ וְאֶת־ יוֹשְׁבֵ֤י יִבְלְעָם֙ וְאֶת־ בְּנֹתֶ֔יהָ וְאֶת־ יוֹשְׁבֵ֥י מְגִדּ֖וֹ וְאֶת־ בְּנוֹתֶ֑יהָ וַיּ֙וֹאֶל֙ הַֽכְּנַעֲנִ֔י לָשֶׁ֖בֶת בָּאָ֥רֶץ הַזֹּֽאת׃
וַיְהִ֣י כִשְׁמֹ֣עַ כָּל־ מַלְכֵ֣י הָאֱמֹרִ֡י אֲשֶׁר֩ בְּעֵ֨בֶר הַיַּרְדֵּ֜ן יָ֗מָּה וְכָל־ מַלְכֵ֤י הַֽכְּנַעֲנִי֙ אֲשֶׁ֣ר עַל־ הַיָּ֔ם אֵ֠ת אֲשֶׁר־ הוֹבִ֨ישׁ יְהוָ֜ה אֶת־ מֵ֧י הַיַּרְדֵּ֛ן מִפְּנֵ֥י בְנֵֽי־ יִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל עַד־ עברנו עָבְרָ֑ם וַיִּמַּ֣ס לְבָבָ֗ם וְלֹא־ הָ֨יָה בָ֥ם עוֹד֙ ר֔וּחַ מִפְּנֵ֖י בְּנֵֽי־ יִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃
וּבְב֨וֹא עַם־ הָאָ֜רֶץ לִפְנֵ֣י יְהוָה֮ בַּמּֽוֹעֲדִים֒ הַבָּ֡א דֶּרֶךְ־ שַׁ֨עַר צָפ֜וֹן לְהִֽשְׁתַּחֲוֺ֗ת יֵצֵא֙ דֶּרֶךְ־ שַׁ֣עַר נֶ֔גֶב וְהַבָּא֙ דֶּרֶךְ־ שַׁ֣עַר נֶ֔גֶב יֵצֵ֖א דֶּרֶךְ־ שַׁ֣עַר צָפ֑וֹנָה לֹ֣א יָשׁ֗וּב דֶּ֤רֶךְ הַשַּׁ֙עַר֙ אֲשֶׁר־ בָּ֣א ב֔וֹ כִּ֥י נִכְח֖וֹ יצאו יֵצֵֽא׃
וְרָעֲשׁ֣וּ מִפָּנַ֡י דְּגֵ֣י הַיָּם֩ וְע֨וֹף הַשָּׁמַ֜יִם וְחַיַּ֣ת הַשָּׂדֶ֗ה וְכָל־ הָרֶ֙מֶשׂ֙ הָרֹמֵ֣שׂ עַל־ הָֽאֲדָמָ֔ה וְכֹל֙ הָֽאָדָ֔ם אֲשֶׁ֖ר עַל־ פְּנֵ֣י הָאֲדָמָ֑ה וְנֶהֶרְס֣וּ הֶהָרִ֗ים וְנָֽפְלוּ֙ הַמַּדְרֵג֔וֹת וְכָל־ חוֹמָ֖ה לָאָ֥רֶץ תִּפּֽוֹל׃
And Boaz said unto the elders, and unto all the people, Ye are witnesses this day, that I have bought all that was Elimelech’s, and all that was Chilion’s and Mahlon’s, of the hand of Naomi.
