נְשֵׁיכֶ֣ם טַפְּכֶם֮ וּמִקְנֵיכֶם֒ יֵשְׁב֕וּ בָּאָ֕רֶץ אֲשֶׁ֨ר נָתַ֥ן לָכֶ֛ם מֹשֶׁ֖ה בְּעֵ֣בֶר הַיַּרְדֵּ֑ן וְאַתֶּם֩ תַּעַבְר֨וּ חֲמֻשִׁ֜ים לִפְנֵ֣י אֲחֵיכֶ֗ם כֹּ֚ל גִּבּוֹרֵ֣י הַחַ֔יִל וַעֲזַרְתֶּ֖ם אוֹתָֽם׃
וַיֹּ֨סֶף ע֜וֹד אֲחִימַ֤עַץ בֶּן־ צָדוֹק֙ וַיֹּ֣אמֶר אֶל־ יוֹאָ֔ב וִ֣יהִי מָ֔ה אָרֻֽצָה־ נָּ֥א גַם־ אָ֖נִי אַחֲרֵ֣י הַכּוּשִׁ֑י וַיֹּ֣אמֶר יוֹאָ֗ב לָֽמָּה־ זֶּ֞ה אַתָּ֥ה רָץ֙ בְּנִ֔י וּלְכָ֖ה אֵין־ בְּשׂוֹרָ֥ה מֹצֵֽאת׃
וַיֵּ֣לֶךְ מִ֠שָּׁם וַיִּמְצָ֞א אֶת־ אֱלִישָׁ֤ע בֶּן־ שָׁפָט֙ וְה֣וּא חֹרֵ֔שׁ שְׁנֵים־ עָשָׂ֤ר צְמָדִים֙ לְפָנָ֔יו וְה֖וּא בִּשְׁנֵ֣ים הֶעָשָׂ֑ר וַיַּעֲבֹ֤ר אֵלִיָּ֙הוּ֙ אֵלָ֔יו וַיַּשְׁלֵ֥ךְ אַדַּרְתּ֖וֹ אֵלָֽיו׃
וְזָכַרְתָּ֣ אֶת־ כָּל־ הַדֶּ֗רֶךְ אֲשֶׁ֨ר הֹלִֽיכֲךָ֜ יְהוָ֧ה אֱלֹהֶ֛יךָ זֶ֛ה אַרְבָּעִ֥ים שָׁנָ֖ה בַּמִּדְבָּ֑ר לְמַ֨עַן עַנֹּֽתְךָ֜ לְנַסֹּֽתְךָ֗ לָדַ֜עַת אֶת־ אֲשֶׁ֧ר בִּֽלְבָבְךָ֛ הֲתִשְׁמֹ֥ר מצותו מִצְוֺתָ֖יו אִם־ לֹֽא׃
אֱמֹ֣ר ׀ לְבֵ֣ית יִשְׂרָאֵ֗ל כֹּֽה־ אָמַר֮ אֲדֹנָ֣י יְהוִה֒ הִנְנִ֨י מְחַלֵּ֤ל אֶת־ מִקְדָּשִׁי֙ גְּא֣וֹן עֻזְּכֶ֔ם מַחְמַ֥ד עֵֽינֵיכֶ֖ם וּמַחְמַ֣ל נַפְשְׁכֶ֑ם וּבְנֵיכֶ֧ם וּבְנֽוֹתֵיכֶ֛ם אֲשֶׁ֥ר עֲזַבְתֶּ֖ם בַּחֶ֥רֶב יִפֹּֽלוּ׃
לְהֵימָ֑ן בְּנֵ֣י הֵימָ֡ן בֻּקִּיָּ֡הוּ מַתַּנְיָ֡הוּ עֻ֠זִּיאֵל שְׁבוּאֵ֨ל וִֽירִימ֜וֹת חֲנַנְיָ֣ה חֲנָ֗נִי אֱלִיאָ֤תָה גִדַּ֙לְתִּי֙ וְרֹמַ֣מְתִּי עֶ֔זֶר יָשְׁבְּקָ֣שָׁה מַלּ֔וֹתִי הוֹתִ֖יר מַחֲזִיאֽוֹת׃
וְכִלָּ֣ה אַֽהֲרֹן־ וּ֠בָנָיו לְכַסֹּ֨ת אֶת־ הַקֹּ֜דֶשׁ וְאֶת־ כָּל־ כְּלֵ֣י הַקֹּדֶשׁ֮ בִּנְסֹ֣עַ הֽ͏ַמַּחֲנֶה֒ וְאַחֲרֵי־ כֵ֗ן יָבֹ֤אוּ בְנֵי־ קְהָת֙ לָשֵׂ֔את וְלֹֽא־ יִגְּע֥וּ אֶל־ הַקֹּ֖דֶשׁ וָמֵ֑תוּ אֵ֛לֶּה מַשָּׂ֥א בְנֵֽי־ קְהָ֖ת בְּאֹ֥הֶל מוֹעֵֽד׃
וַיָּ֣רַח יְהוָה֮ אֶת־ רֵ֣יחַ הַנִּיחֹחַ֒ וַיֹּ֨אמֶר יְהוָ֜ה אֶל־ לִבּ֗וֹ לֹֽא־ אֹ֠סִף לְקַלֵּ֨ל ע֤וֹד אֶת־ הָֽאֲדָמָה֙ בַּעֲב֣וּר הֽ͏ָאָדָ֔ם כִּ֠י יֵ֣צֶר לֵ֧ב הָאָדָ֛ם רַ֖ע מִנְּעֻרָ֑יו וְלֹֽא־ אֹסִ֥ף ע֛וֹד לְהַכּ֥וֹת אֶת־ כָּל־ חַ֖י כּֽ͏ַאֲשֶׁ֥ר עָשִֽׂיתִי׃
ע֣וֹד ׀ זֶ֣ה מְדַבֵּ֗ר וְזֶה֮ בָּ֣א וַיֹּאמַר֒ כַּשְׂדִּ֞ים שָׂ֣מוּ ׀ שְׁלֹשָׁ֣ה רָאשִׁ֗ים וַֽיִּפְשְׁט֤וּ עַל־ הַגְּמַלִּים֙ וַיִּקָּח֔וּם וְאֶת־ הַנְּעָרִ֖ים הִכּ֣וּ לְפִי־ חָ֑רֶב וָאִמָּ֨לְטָ֧ה רַק־ אֲנִ֛י לְבַדִּ֖י לְהַגִּ֥יד לָֽךְ׃
Then said they unto him, What shall we do unto thee, that the sea may be calm unto us? for the sea wrought, and was tempestuous.
Sorrowing most of all for the words which he spake, that they should see his face no more. And they accompanied him unto the ship.

ἤδη δὲ καὶ ἡ ἀξίνη πρὸς τὴν ῥίζαν τῶν δένδρων κεῖται· πᾶν οὖν δένδρον μὴ ποιοῦν καρπὸν καλὸν ἐκκόπτεται καὶ εἰς πῦρ βάλλεται.
οἱ δὲ ἄνθρωποι ἐθαύμασαν λέγοντες· Ποταπός ἐστιν οὗτος ὅτι καὶ οἱ ἄνεμοι καὶ ἡ θάλασσα ⸂αὐτῷ ὑπακούουσιν⸃;
ἔχω γὰρ πέντε ἀδελφούς, ὅπως διαμαρτύρηται αὐτοῖς, ἵνα μὴ καὶ αὐτοὶ ἔλθωσιν εἰς τὸν τόπον τοῦτον τῆς βασάνου.
⸀Ἤκουσεν Ἰησοῦς ὅτι ἐξέβαλον αὐτὸν ἔξω, καὶ εὑρὼν αὐτὸν ⸀εἶπεν· Σὺ πιστεύεις εἰς τὸν υἱὸν τοῦ ⸀ἀνθρώπου;
