וְהִנֵּ֗ה כְּבוֹד֙ אֱלֹהֵ֣י יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל בָּ֖א מִדֶּ֣רֶךְ הַקָּדִ֑ים וְקוֹל֗וֹ כְּקוֹל֙ מַ֣יִם רַבִּ֔ים וְהָאָ֖רֶץ הֵאִ֥ירָה מִכְּבֹדֽוֹ׃
וַיִּשְׂמְח֤וּ הָעָם֙ עַל־ הִֽתְנַדְּבָ֔ם כִּ֚י בְּלֵ֣ב שָׁלֵ֔ם הִֽתְנַדְּב֖וּ לַיהוָ֑ה וְגַם֙ דָּוִ֣יד הַמֶּ֔לֶךְ שָׂמַ֖ח שִׂמְחָ֥ה גְדוֹלָֽה׃
וּמִצְרַ֣יִם מְקַבְּרִ֗ים אֵת֩ אֲשֶׁ֨ר הִכָּ֧ה יְהוָ֛ה בָּהֶ֖ם כָּל־ בְּכ֑וֹר וּבֵאלֹ֣הֵיהֶ֔ם עָשָׂ֥ה יְהוָ֖ה שְׁפָטִֽים׃
חיצה את העדים, חק עשרה שלשה ושבעה וי"ב מזלות ופקידין בתל"י גלג"ל ול"ב:
Truly my soul waiteth upon God: from him cometh my salvation.
And when the multitude heard this, they were astonished at his doctrine.
Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord:
And he said unto him, Son, thou art ever with me, and all that I have is thine.
Or who hath first given to him, and it shall be recompensed unto him again?
Who cut up mallows by the bushes, and juniper roots for their meat.
For they shall soon be cut down like the grass, and wither as the green herb.
For let not that man think that he shall receive any thing of the Lord.
And the tongs thereof, and the snuffdishes thereof, shall be of pure gold.
Who hath given him a charge over the earth? or who hath disposed the whole world?
And upon all the ships of Tarshish, and upon all pleasant pictures.
But as for me, I will walk in mine integrity: redeem me, and be merciful unto me.
For surely there is an end; and thine expectation shall not be cut off.
Will he make a covenant with thee? wilt thou take him for a servant for ever?
The paths of their way are turned aside; they go to nothing, and perish.
And some of the sons of the priests made the ointment of the spices.
But he that had received one went and digged in the earth, and hid his lord’s money.
And when her days to be delivered were fulfilled, behold, there were twins in her womb.
Therefore let us not sleep, as do others; but let us watch and be sober.
For as we have many members in one body, and all members have not the same office:

tad vaH sujaataa maruto mahitvanaM diirghaM vo daatram aditer iva vratam
samraaL anyaH svaraaL anya ucyate vaam mahaantaav indraavaruNaa mahaavasuu
aa yonim agnir ghRtavantam asthaat pRthupragaaNam ushantam ushaanaH
stutash cid agne shRNviSe gRNaanaH svayaM vardhasva tanva\M sujaata
indram mitraM varuNam agnim aahur atho divyaH sa suparNo garutmaan
sarasvatii saadhayantii dhiyaM na iLaa devii bhaaratii vishvatuurtiH
vi tvaa naraH purutraa saparyan pitur na jivrer vi vedo bharanta

avadhraM jyotir aditer RtaavRdho devasya shlokaM savitur manaamahe

pra yad ratheSu pRSatiir ayugdhvaM vaaje adrim maruto raMhayantaH
preSThaM vo atithiM gRNiiSe .agniM shastibhis turvaNiH sajoSaaH
kRSNaH shveto\ .aruSo yaamo asya bradhna Rjra uta shoNo yashasvaan
sa no niyudbhiH puruhuuta vedho vishvavaaraabhir aa gahi prayajyo
aagann RbhuuNaam iha ratnadheyam abhuut somasya suSutasya piitiH
ὄφεις γεννήματα ἐχιδνῶν, πῶς φύγητε ἀπὸ τῆς κρίσεως τῆς γεέννης;
πάλιν ⸀δὲ ὁ Πιλᾶτος ⸀προσεφώνησεν, θέλων ἀπολῦσαι τὸν Ἰησοῦν.
