וָאֶשְׁקֲלָ֨ה עַל־ יָדָ֜ם כֶּ֗סֶף כִּכָּרִים֙ שֵֽׁשׁ־ מֵא֣וֹת וַחֲמִשִׁ֔ים וּכְלֵי־ כֶ֥סֶף מֵאָ֖ה לְכִכָּרִ֑ים זָהָ֖ב מֵאָ֥ה כִכָּֽר׃
וְיֶ֙תֶר֙ דִּבְרֵ֣י יוֹתָ֔ם וְכָל־ מִלְחֲמֹתָ֖יו וּדְרָכָ֑יו הִנָּ֣ם כְּתוּבִ֔ים עַל־ סֵ֥פֶר מַלְכֵֽי־ יִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל וִיהוּדָֽה׃
וַאֲחֵיהֶ֗ם רָאשִׁים֙ לְבֵ֣ית אֲבוֹתָ֔ם אֶ֕לֶף וּשְׁבַ֥ע מֵא֖וֹת וְשִׁשִּׁ֑ים גִּבּ֣וֹרֵי חֵ֔יל מְלֶ֖אכֶת עֲבוֹדַ֥ת בֵּית־ הָאֱלֹהִֽים׃
If a wise man contendeth with a foolish man, whether he rage or laugh, there is no rest.
Behold, the hope of him is in vain: shall not one be cast down even at the sight of him?

وَإِذَا تُتْلَى عَلَيْهِ آيَاتُنَا وَلَّى مُسْتَكْبِرًا كَأَنْ لَمْ يَسْمَعْهَا كَأَنَّ فِي أُذُنَيْهِ وَقْرًا فَبَشِّرْهُ بِعَذَابٍ أَلِيمٍ
لِيَحْمِلُوا أَوْزَارَهُمْ كَامِلَةً يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ وَمِنْ أَوْزَارِ الَّذِينَ يُضِلُّونَهُمْ بِغَيْرِ عِلْمٍ أَلَا سَاءَ مَا يَزِرُونَ
