וַיִּזְכֹּ֤ר אֱלֹהִים֙ אֶת־ נֹ֔חַ וְאֵ֤ת כָּל־ הֽ͏ַחַיָּה֙ וְאֶת־ כָּל־ הַבְּהֵמָ֔ה אֲשֶׁ֥ר אִתּ֖וֹ בַּתֵּבָ֑ה וַיַּעֲבֵ֨ר אֱלֹהִ֥ים ר֙וּחַ֙ עַל־ הָאָ֔רֶץ וַיָּשֹׁ֖כּוּ הַמָּֽיִם׃
וּמֵֽרָאשֵׁ֣י הָֽאָב֗וֹת נָֽתְנוּ֙ לְאוֹצַ֣ר הַמְּלָאכָ֔ה זָהָ֕ב דַּרְכְּמוֹנִ֖ים שְׁתֵּ֣י רִבּ֑וֹת וְכֶ֕סֶף מָנִ֖ים אַלְפַּ֥יִם וּמָאתָֽיִם׃
וַיֹּ֣אמֶר אֶל־ כָּל־ יִשְׂרָאֵ֗ל אַתֶּם֙ תִּֽהְיוּ֙ לְעֵ֣בֶר אֶחָ֔ד וַֽאֲנִי֙ וְיוֹנָתָ֣ן בְּנִ֔י נִהְיֶ֖ה לְעֵ֣בֶר אֶחָ֑ד וַיֹּאמְר֤וּ הָעָם֙ אֶל־ שָׁא֔וּל הַטּ֥וֹב בְּעֵינֶ֖יךָ עֲשֵֽׂה׃
וּבַיּ֣וֹם הַשְּׁמִינִ֗י יִֽקַּֽח־ לוֹ֙ שְׁתֵּ֣י תֹרִ֔ים א֥וֹ שְׁנֵ֖י בְּנֵ֣י יוֹנָ֑ה וּבָ֣א ׀ לִפְנֵ֣י יְהוָ֗ה אֶל־ פֶּ֙תַח֙ אֹ֣הֶל מוֹעֵ֔ד וּנְתָנָ֖ם אֶל־ הַכֹּהֵֽן׃
אִם־ יִתֶּן־ לִ֨י בָלָ֜ק מְלֹ֣א בֵיתוֹ֮ כֶּ֣סֶף וְזָהָב֒ לֹ֣א אוּכַ֗ל לַעֲבֹר֙ אֶת־ פִּ֣י יְהוָ֔ה לַעֲשׂ֥וֹת טוֹבָ֛ה א֥וֹ רָעָ֖ה מִלִבִּ֑י אֲשֶׁר־ יְדַבֵּ֥ר יְהוָ֖ה אֹת֥וֹ אֲדַבֵּֽר׃
וַיַּרְא־ גַּעַל֮ אֶת־ הָעָם֒ וַיֹּ֣אמֶר אֶל־ זְבֻ֔ל הִנֵּה־ עָ֣ם יוֹרֵ֔ד מֵרָאשֵׁ֖י הֶהָרִ֑ים וַיֹּ֤אמֶר אֵלָיו֙ זְבֻ֔ל אֵ֣ת צֵ֧ל הֶהָרִ֛ים אַתָּ֥ה רֹאֶ֖ה כָּאֲנָשִֽׁים׃
עַל־ פִּי֩ אַהֲרֹ֨ן וּבָנָ֜יו תִּהְיֶ֗ה כָּל־ עֲבֹדַת֙ בְּנֵ֣י הַגֵּרְשֻׁנִּ֔י לְכָל־ מַשָּׂאָ֔ם וּלְכֹ֖ל עֲבֹדָתָ֑ם וּפְקַדְתֶּ֤ם עֲלֵהֶם֙ בְּמִשְׁמֶ֔רֶת אֵ֖ת כָּל־ מַשָּׂאָֽם׃
וּמִמַּטֵּ֣ה נַפְתָּלִ֗י אֶת־ קֶ֤דֶשׁ בַּגָּלִיל֙ וְאֶת־ מִגְרָשֶׁ֔יהָ וְאֶת־ חַמּ֖וֹן וְאֶת־ מִגְרָשֶׁ֑יהָ וְאֶת־ קִרְיָתַ֖יִם וְאֶת־ מִגְרָשֶֽׁיהָ׃
עָנֵ֣ה וְאָמַ֗ר הָֽא־ אֲנָ֨ה חָזֵ֜ה גֻּבְרִ֣ין אַרְבְּעָ֗ה שְׁרַ֙יִן֙ מַהְלְכִ֣ין בְּגֽוֹא־ נוּרָ֔א וַחֲבָ֖ל לָא־ אִיתַ֣י בְּה֑וֹן וְרֵוֵהּ֙ דִּ֣י רביעיא רְֽבִיעָאָ֔ה דָּמֵ֖ה לְבַר־ אֱלָהִֽין׃
כִּ֣י הִֽטַּהֲר֞וּ הַכֹּהֲנִ֧ים וְהַלְוִיִּ֛ם כְּאֶחָ֖ד כֻּלָּ֣ם טְהוֹרִ֑ים וַיִּשְׁחֲט֤וּ הַפֶּ֙סַח֙ לְכָל־ בְּנֵ֣י הַגּוֹלָ֔ה וְלַאֲחֵיהֶ֥ם הַכֹּהֲנִ֖ים וְלָהֶֽם׃
For thou shalt eat the labour of thine hands: happy shalt thou be, and it shall be well with thee.
Behold, ye are of nothing, and your work of nought: an abomination is he that chooseth you.
I, even I, have spoken; yea, I have called him: I have brought him, and he shall make his way prosperous.
Yet a little while, and the world seeth me no more; but ye see me: because I live, ye shall live also.

ओमित्येकाक्षरं ब्रह्म व्याहरन्मामनुस्मरन् । यः प्रयाति त्यजन्देहं स याति परमां गतिम्
वृष्णीनां वासुदेवोऽस्मि पाण्डवानां धनञ्जयः । मुनीनामप्यहं व्यासः कवीनामुशना कविः
प्रयत्नाद्यतमानस्तु योगी संशुद्धकिल्बिषः । अनेकजन्मसंसिद्धस्ततो याति परां गतिम्
समः शत्रौ च मित्रे च तथा मानपमानयोः । शीतोष्णसुखदुःखेषु समः सङ्गविवर्जितः
τίσιν δὲ ὤμοσεν μὴ εἰσελεύσεσθαι εἰς τὴν κατάπαυσιν αὐτοῦ εἰ μὴ τοῖς ἀπειθήσασιν;
καὶ διὰ τὸ ὁμότεχνον εἶναι ἔμενεν παρʼ αὐτοῖς καὶ ⸀ἠργάζετο, ἦσαν γὰρ σκηνοποιοὶ ⸂τῇ τέχνῃ⸃.
ὅτι ἡρπάγη εἰς τὸν παράδεισον καὶ ἤκουσεν ἄρρητα ῥήματα ἃ οὐκ ἐξὸν ἀνθρώπῳ λαλῆσαι.
πορευθέντες δὲ οἱ μαθηταὶ καὶ ποιήσαντες καθὼς ⸀συνέταξεν αὐτοῖς ὁ Ἰησοῦς
الَّذِينَ تَتَوَفَّاهُمُ الْمَلَائِكَةُ ظَالِمِي أَنْفُسِهِمْ فَأَلْقَوُا السَّلَمَ مَا كُنَّا نَعْمَلُ مِنْ سُوءٍ بَلَى إِنَّ اللَّهَ عَلِيمٌ بِمَا كُنْتُمْ تَعْمَلُونَ
وَقُلِ اعْمَلُوا فَسَيَرَى اللَّهُ عَمَلَكُمْ وَرَسُولُهُ وَالْمُؤْمِنُونَ وَسَتُرَدُّونَ إِلَى عَالِمِ الْغَيْبِ وَالشَّهَادَةِ فَيُنَبِّئُكُمْ بِمَا كُنْتُمْ تَعْمَلُونَ
