וַֽיִּמְצְא֖וּ כָּת֣וּב בַּתּוֹרָ֑ה אֲשֶׁ֨ר צִוָּ֤ה יְהוָה֙ בְּיַד־ מֹשֶׁ֔ה אֲשֶׁר֩ יֵשְׁב֨וּ בְנֵֽי־ יִשְׂרָאֵ֧ל בַּסֻּכּ֛וֹת בֶּחָ֖ג בַּחֹ֥דֶשׁ הַשְּׁבִיעִֽי׃
וֽ͏ַיְהִי־ אִ֣ישׁ מבן־ ימין מִבִּניָמִ֗ין וּ֠שְׁמוֹ קִ֣ישׁ בֶּן־ אֲבִיאֵ֞ל בֶּן־ צְר֧וֹר בֶּן־ בְּכוֹרַ֛ת בֶּן־ אֲפִ֖יחַ בֶּן־ אִ֣ישׁ יְמִינִ֑י גִּבּ֖וֹר חָֽיִל׃
צַדִּ֥יק ה֛וּא יְהוָ֖ה כִּ֣י פִ֣יהוּ מָרִ֑יתִי שִׁמְעוּ־ נָ֣א כָל־ עמים הָֽעַמִּ֗ים וּרְאוּ֙ מַכְאֹבִ֔י בְּתוּלֹתַ֥י וּבַחוּרַ֖י הָלְכ֥וּ בַשֶּֽׁבִי׃
וַיֹּ֨אמֶר אֵלָ֜יו זְבֻ֗ל אַיֵּ֨ה אֵפ֥וֹא פִ֙יךָ֙ אֲשֶׁ֣ר תֹּאמַ֔ר מִ֥י אֲבִימֶ֖לֶךְ כִּ֣י נַעַבְדֶ֑נּוּ הֲלֹ֨א זֶ֤ה הָעָם֙ אֲשֶׁ֣ר מָאַ֣סְתָּה בּ֔וֹ צֵא־ נָ֥א עַתָּ֖ה וְהִלָּ֥חֶם בּֽוֹ׃
וַיִּרְא֥וּ אַנְשֵֽׁי־ אַשְׁדּ֖וֹד כִּֽי־ כֵ֑ן וְאָמְר֗וּ לֹֽא־ יֵשֵׁ֞ב אֲר֨וֹן אֱלֹהֵ֤י יִשְׂרָאֵל֙ עִמָּ֔נוּ כִּֽי־ קָשְׁתָ֤ה יָדוֹ֙ עָלֵ֔ינוּ וְעַ֖ל דָּג֥וֹן אֱלֹהֵֽינוּ׃
וְאַתָּ֤ה שְׁכַב֙ עַל־ צִדְּךָ֣ הַשְּׂמָאלִ֔י וְשַׂמְתָּ֛ אֶת־ עֲוֺ֥ן בֵּֽית־ יִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל עָלָ֑יו מִסְפַּ֤ר הַיָּמִים֙ אֲשֶׁ֣ר תִּשְׁכַּ֣ב עָלָ֔יו תִּשָּׂ֖א אֶת־ עֲוֺנָֽם׃
בָּר֣וּךְ יְהוָ֗ה אֲשֶׁ֨ר נָתַ֤ן מְנוּחָה֙ לְעַמּ֣וֹ יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל כְּכֹ֖ל אֲשֶׁ֣ר דִּבֵּ֑ר לֹֽא־ נָפַ֞ל דָּבָ֣ר אֶחָ֗ד מִכֹּל֙ דְּבָר֣וֹ הַטּ֔וֹב אֲשֶׁ֣ר דִּבֶּ֔ר בְּיַ֖ד מֹשֶׁ֥ה עַבְדּֽוֹ׃
וְאִם־ הֵנִ֨יא אָבִ֣יהָ אֹתָהּ֮ בְּי֣וֹם שָׁמְעוֹ֒ כָּל־ נְדָרֶ֗יהָ וֽ͏ֶאֱסָרֶ֛יהָ אֲשֶׁר־ אָסְרָ֥ה עַל־ נַפְשָׁ֖הּ לֹ֣א יָק֑וּם וַֽיהוָה֙ יִֽסְלַח־ לָ֔הּ כִּי־ הֵנִ֥יא אָבִ֖יהָ אֹתָֽהּ׃
וַחֲמִשָּׁ֣ה בְרִיחִ֔ם לְקַרְשֵׁ֥י צֶֽלַע־ הַמִּשְׁכָּ֖ן הַשֵּׁנִ֑ית וַחֲמִשָּׁ֤ה בְרִיחִם֙ לְקַרְשֵׁ֣י הַמִּשְׁכָּ֔ן לַיַּרְכָתַ֖יִם יָֽמָּה׃
The whole congregation together was forty and two thousand three hundred and threescore,
And he shall cut down the thickets of the forest with iron, and Lebanon shall fall by a mighty one.
And the people answered and said, God forbid that we should forsake the LORD, to serve other gods;
When Elihu saw that there was no answer in the mouth of these three men, then his wrath was kindled.
