וְלָקַ֨ח הַכֹּהֵ֜ן אֶת־ הַזְּרֹ֣עַ בְּשֵׁלָה֮ מִן־ הָאַיִל֒ וְֽחַלַּ֨ת מַצָּ֤ה אַחַת֙ מִן־ הַסַּ֔ל וּרְקִ֥יק מַצָּ֖ה אֶחָ֑ד וְנָתַן֙ עַל־ כַּפֵּ֣י הַנָּזִ֔יר אַחַ֖ר הִֽתְגַּלְּח֥וֹ אֶת־ נִזְרֽוֹ׃
וַיִּתֵּן֩ יְהוָ֨ה גַּם־ אוֹתָ֜הּ בְּיַ֣ד יִשְׂרָאֵל֘ וְאֶת־ מַלְכָּהּ֒ וַיַּכֶּ֣הָ לְפִי־ חֶ֗רֶב וְאֶת־ כָּל־ הַנֶּ֙פֶשׁ֙ אֲשֶׁר־ בָּ֔הּ לֹֽא־ הִשְׁאִ֥יר בָּ֖הּ שָׂרִ֑יד וַיַּ֣עַשׂ לְמַלְכָּ֔הּ כַּאֲשֶׁ֥ר עָשָׂ֖ה לְמֶ֥לֶךְ יְרִיחֽוֹ׃
וְשָׁא֛וּל לָכַ֥ד הַמְּלוּכָ֖ה עַל־ יִשְׂרָאֵ֑ל וַיִלָ֣חֶם סָבִ֣יב ׀ בְּֽכָל־ אֹיְבָ֡יו בְּמוֹאָ֣ב ׀ וּבִבְנֵי־ עַמּ֨וֹן וּבֶאֱד֜וֹם וּבְמַלְכֵ֤י צוֹבָה֙ וּבַפְּלִשְׁתִּ֔ים וּבְכֹ֥ל אֲשֶׁר־ יִפְנֶ֖ה יַרְשִֽׁיעַ׃
וַֽיִּרְעֲצ֤וּ וַיְרֹֽצְצוּ֙ אֶת־ בְּנֵ֣י יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל בַּשָּׁנָ֖ה הַהִ֑יא שְׁמֹנֶ֨ה עֶשְׂרֵ֜ה שָׁנָ֗ה אֶֽת־ כָּל־ בְּנֵ֤י יִשְׂרָאֵל֙ אֲשֶׁר֙ בְּעֵ֣בֶר הַיַּרְדֵּ֔ן בְּאֶ֥רֶץ הָאֱמֹרִ֖י אֲשֶׁ֥ר בַּגִּלְעָֽד׃
וַיָּבֹ֣א רְחַבְעָם֮ יְרוּשָׁלִַם֒ וַיַּקְהֵל֩ אֶת־ בֵּ֨ית יְהוּדָ֜ה וּבִנְיָמִ֗ן מֵאָ֨ה וּשְׁמוֹנִ֥ים אֶ֛לֶף בָּח֖וּר עֹשֵׂ֣ה מִלְחָמָ֑ה לְהִלָּחֵם֙ עִם־ יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל לְהָשִׁ֥יב אֶת־ הַמַּמְלָכָ֖ה לִרְחַבְעָֽם׃
כִּֽי־ הִנֵּ֤ה הַיּוֹם֙ בָּ֔א בֹּעֵ֖ר כַּתַּנּ֑וּר וְהָי֨וּ כָל־ זֵדִ֜ים וְכָל־ עֹשֵׂ֤ה רִשְׁעָה֙ קַ֔שׁ וְלִהַ֨ט אֹתָ֜ם הַיּ֣וֹם הַבָּ֗א אָמַר֙ יְהוָ֣ה צְבָא֔וֹת אֲשֶׁ֛ר לֹא־ יַעֲזֹ֥ב לָהֶ֖ם שֹׁ֥רֶשׁ וְעָנָֽף׃
וּרְא֣וּ וּדְע֗וּ מִכֹּ֤ל הַמַּֽחֲבֹאִים֙ אֲשֶׁ֣ר יִתְחַבֵּ֣א שָׁ֔ם וְשַׁבְתֶּ֤ם אֵלַי֙ אֶל־ נָכ֔וֹן וְהָלַכְתִּ֖י אִתְּכֶ֑ם וְהָיָה֙ אִם־ יֶשְׁנ֣וֹ בָאָ֔רֶץ וְחִפַּשְׂתִּ֣י אֹת֔וֹ בְּכֹ֖ל אַלְפֵ֥י יְהוּדָֽה׃
וַיִּמְלֹ֥ךְ יְהוֹשָׁפָ֖ט עַל־ יְהוּדָ֑ה בֶּן־ שְׁלֹשִׁים֩ וְחָמֵ֨שׁ שָׁנָ֜ה בְּמָלְכ֗וֹ וְעֶשְׂרִ֨ים וְחָמֵ֤שׁ שָׁנָה֙ מָלַ֣ךְ בִּֽירוּשָׁלִַ֔ם וְשֵׁ֣ם אִמּ֔וֹ עֲזוּבָ֖ה בַּת־ שִׁלְחִֽי׃
וְדָוִ֣יד וְכָל־ יִשְׂרָאֵ֗ל מְשַׂחֲקִ֛ים לִפְנֵ֥י הָאֱלֹהִ֖ים בְּכָל־ עֹ֑ז וּבְשִׁירִ֤ים וּבְכִנֹּרוֹת֙ וּבִנְבָלִ֣ים וּבְתֻפִּ֔ים וּבִמְצִלְתַּ֖יִם וּבַחֲצֹצְרֽוֹת׃
וְעָלָה֩ הָאִ֨ישׁ הַה֤וּא מֵֽעִירוֹ֙ מִיָּמִ֣ים ׀ יָמִ֔ימָה לְהִֽשְׁתַּחֲוֺ֧ת וְלִזְבֹּ֛חַ לַיהוָ֥ה צְבָא֖וֹת בְּשִׁלֹ֑ה וְשָׁ֞ם שְׁנֵ֣י בְנֵֽי־ עֵלִ֗י חָפְנִי֙ וּפִ֣נְחָ֔ס כֹּהֲנִ֖ים לַיהוָֽה׃
וְאַתָּ֣ה וּבָנֶ֣יךָ אִ֠תְּךָ תִּשְׁמְר֨וּ אֶת־ כְּהֻנַּתְכֶ֜ם לְכָל־ דְּבַ֧ר הַמִּזְבֵּ֛חַ וּלְמִבֵּ֥ית לַפָּרֹ֖כֶת וַעֲבַדְתֶּ֑ם עֲבֹדַ֣ת מַתָּנָ֗ה אֶתֵּן֙ אֶת־ כְּהֻנַּתְכֶ֔ם וְהַזָּ֥ר הַקָּרֵ֖ב יוּמָֽת׃
That the Gentiles should be fellowheirs, and of the same body, and partakers of his promise in Christ by the gospel:

The law of the LORD is perfect, converting the soul: the testimony of the LORD is sure, making wise the simple.

Now learn a parable of the fig tree; When her branch is yet tender, and putteth forth leaves, ye know that summer is near:

And of the Levites, Ahijah was over the treasures of the house of God, and over the treasures of the dedicated things.
My soul is weary of my life; I will leave my complaint upon myself; I will speak in the bitterness of my soul.
But watch thou in all things, endure afflictions, do the work of an evangelist, make full proof of thy ministry.

διὰ τοῦτο γὰρ καὶ φόρους τελεῖτε, λειτουργοὶ γὰρ θεοῦ εἰσιν εἰς αὐτὸ τοῦτο προσκαρτεροῦντες.
إِنَّ الَّذِينَ جَاءُوا بِالْإِفْكِ عُصْبَةٌ مِنْكُمْ لَا تَحْسَبُوهُ شَرًّا لَكُمْ بَلْ هُوَ خَيْرٌ لَكُمْ لِكُلِّ امْرِئٍ مِنْهُمْ مَا اكْتَسَبَ مِنَ الْإِثْمِ وَالَّذِي تَوَلَّى كِبْرَهُ مِنْهُمْ لَهُ عَذَابٌ عَظِيمٌ
