וְֽהָיְתָ֞ה הַפְּצִ֣ירָה פִ֗ים לַמַּֽחֲרֵשֹׁת֙ וְלָ֣אֵתִ֔ים וְלִשְׁלֹ֥שׁ קִלְּשׁ֖וֹן וּלְהַקַּרְדֻּמִּ֑ים וּלְהַצִּ֖יב הַדָּרְבָֽן׃
וַֽיִּקְרְאוּ֙ אֶל־ הַמֶּ֔לֶךְ וַיֵּצֵ֧א אֲלֵהֶ֛ם אֶלְיָקִ֥ים בֶּן־ חִלְקִיָּ֖הוּ אֲשֶׁ֣ר עַל־ הַבָּ֑יִת וְשֶׁבְנָה֙ הַסֹּפֵ֔ר וְיוֹאָ֥ח בֶּן־ אָסָ֖ף הַמַּזְכִּֽיר׃
וַיִּקַּ֨ח מָנ֜וֹחַ אֶת־ גְּדִ֤י הָעִזִּים֙ וְאֶת־ הַמִּנְחָ֔ה וַיַּ֥עַל עַל־ הַצּ֖וּר לַֽיהוָ֑ה וּמַפְלִ֣א לַעֲשׂ֔וֹת וּמָנ֥וֹחַ וְאִשְׁתּ֖וֹ רֹאִֽים׃
וְעָשִׂ֥יתָ מְנֹרַ֖ת זָהָ֣ב טָה֑וֹר מִקְשָׁ֞ה תֵּעָשֶׂ֤ה הַמְּנוֹרָה֙ יְרֵכָ֣הּ וְקָנָ֔הּ גְּבִיעֶ֛יהָ כַּפְתֹּרֶ֥יהָ וּפְרָחֶ֖יהָ מִמֶּ֥נָּה יִהְיֽוּ׃
וּשְׁלֹשִׁ֥ים יוֹם֙ וּשְׁלֹ֣שֶׁת יָמִ֔ים תֵּשֵׁ֖ב בִּדְמֵ֣י טָהֳרָ֑ה בְּכָל־ קֹ֣דֶשׁ לֹֽא־ תִגָּ֗ע וְאֶל־ הַמִּקְדָּשׁ֙ לֹ֣א תָבֹ֔א עַד־ מְלֹ֖את יְמֵ֥י טָהֳרָֽהּ׃
לֹ֣א יַחֲלִיפֶ֗נּוּ וְלֹֽא־ יָמִ֥יר אֹת֛וֹ ט֥וֹב בְּרָ֖ע אוֹ־ רַ֣ע בְּט֑וֹב וְאִם־ הָמֵ֨ר יָמִ֤יר בְּהֵמָה֙ בִּבְהֵמָ֔ה וְהָֽיָה־ ה֥וּא וּתְמוּרָת֖וֹ יִֽהְיֶה־ קֹּֽדֶשׁ׃
וַיַּעֲמֵ֨ד אֶת־ כָּל־ הָעָ֜ם וְאִ֣ישׁ ׀ שִׁלְח֣וֹ בְיָד֗וֹ מִכֶּ֨תֶף הַבַּ֤יִת הַיְמָנִית֙ עַד־ כֶּ֤תֶף הַבַּ֙יִת֙ הַשְּׂמָאלִ֔ית לַמִּזְבֵּ֖חַ וְלַבָּ֑יִת עַל־ הַמֶּ֖לֶךְ סָבִֽיב׃
וַיֹּ֨אמֶר יְהוָ֜ה לָ֗הּ שְׁנֵ֤י גיים גוֹיִם֙ בְּבִטְנֵ֔ךְ וּשְׁנֵ֣י לְאֻמִּ֔ים מִמֵּעַ֖יִךְ יִפָּרֵ֑דוּ וּלְאֹם֙ מִלְאֹ֣ם יֶֽאֱמָ֔ץ וְרַ֖ב יַעֲבֹ֥ד צָעִֽיר׃
עַמִּ֗י זְכָר־ נָא֙ מַה־ יָּעַ֗ץ בָּלָק֙ מֶ֣לֶךְ מוֹאָ֔ב וּמֶה־ עָנָ֥ה אֹת֖וֹ בִּלְעָ֣ם בֶּן־ בְּע֑וֹר מִן־ הַשִּׁטִּים֙ עַד־ הַגִּלְגָּ֔ל לְמַ֕עַן דַּ֖עַת צִדְק֥וֹת יְהוָֽה׃
וְע֗וֹד בִּרְצוֹתִי֙ בְּבֵ֣ית אֱלֹהַ֔י יֶשׁ־ לִ֥י סְגֻלָּ֖ה זָהָ֣ב וָכָ֑סֶף נָתַ֤תִּי לְבֵית־ אֱלֹהַי֙ לְמַ֔עְלָה מִכָּל־ הֲכִינ֖וֹתִי לְבֵ֥ית הַקֹּֽדֶשׁ׃
וַיֹּ֤אמֶר אֲלֵהֶם֙ רַב־ שָׁקֵ֔ה אִמְרוּ־ נָ֖א אֶל־ חִזְקִיָּ֑הוּ כֹּֽה־ אָמַ֞ר הַמֶּ֤לֶךְ הַגָּדוֹל֙ מֶ֣לֶךְ אַשּׁ֔וּר מָ֧ה הַבִּטָּח֛וֹן הַזֶּ֖ה אֲשֶׁ֥ר בָּטָֽחְתָּ׃
וְהַתָּ֗א קָנֶ֨ה אֶחָ֥ד אֹ֙רֶךְ֙ וְקָנֶ֤ה אֶחָד֙ רֹ֔חַב וּבֵ֥ין הַתָּאִ֖ים חָמֵ֣שׁ אַמּ֑וֹת וְסַ֣ף הַ֠שַּׁעַר מֵאֵ֨צֶל אוּלָ֥ם הַשַּׁ֛עַר מֵֽהַבַּ֖יִת קָנֶ֥ה אֶחָֽד׃
וַיַּרְכִּ֜בוּ אֶת־ אֲר֤וֹן הָֽאֱלֹהִים֙ אֶל־ עֲגָלָ֣ה חֲדָשָׁ֔ה וַיִּשָּׂאֻ֔הוּ מִבֵּ֥ית אֲבִינָדָ֖ב אֲשֶׁ֣ר בַּגִּבְעָ֑ה וְעֻזָּ֣א וְאַחְי֗וֹ בְּנֵי֙ אֲבִ֣ינָדָ֔ב נֹהֲגִ֖ים אֶת־ הָעֲגָלָ֥ה חֲדָשָֽׁה׃
וְאִם־ בַּהֶרֶת֩ לְבָנָ֨ה הִ֜וא בְּע֣וֹר בְּשָׂר֗וֹ וְעָמֹק֙ אֵין־ מַרְאֶ֣הָ מִן־ הָע֔וֹר וּשְׂעָרָ֖ה לֹא־ הָפַ֣ךְ לָבָ֑ן וְהִסְגִּ֧יר הַכֹּהֵ֛ן אֶת־ הַנֶּ֖גַע שִׁבְעַ֥ת יָמִֽים׃
וַיִּקַּ֨ח חָנ֜וּן אֶת־ עַבְדֵ֣י דָוִ֗ד וַיְגַלַּח֙ אֶת־ חֲצִ֣י זְקָנָ֔ם וַיִּכְרֹ֧ת אֶת־ מַדְוֵיהֶ֛ם בַּחֵ֖צִי עַ֣ד שְׁתֽוֹתֵיהֶ֑ם וַֽיְשַׁלְּחֵֽם׃
And a mitre of fine linen, and goodly bonnets of fine linen, and linen breeches of fine twined linen,
I should soon have subdued their enemies, and turned my hand against their adversaries.

ζηλοῦσιν ὑμᾶς οὐ καλῶς, ἀλλὰ ἐκκλεῖσαι ὑμᾶς θέλουσιν, ἵνα αὐτοὺς ζηλοῦτε.
لَوْ يَعْلَمُ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا حِينَ لَا يَكُفُّونَ عَنْ وُجُوهِهِمُ النَّارَ وَلَا عَنْ ظُهُورِهِمْ وَلَا هُمْ يُنْصَرُونَ
