וְאִם־ שְׁלָ֨שׁ־ אֵ֔לֶּה לֹ֥א יַעֲשֶׂ֖ה לָ֑הּ וְיָצְאָ֥ה חִנָּ֖ם אֵ֥ין כָּֽסֶף׃
הַר־ אֱ֭לֹהִים הַר־ בָּשָׁ֑ן הַ֥ר גַּ֝בְנֻנִּ֗ים הַר־ בָּשָֽׁן׃
שָֽׁלְחָ֣ה נַעֲרֹתֶ֣יהָ תִקְרָ֑א עַל־ גַּ֝פֵּ֗י מְרֹ֣מֵי קָֽרֶת׃
וַיָּ֥קֶם מִזְבֵּ֖חַ לַבָּ֑עַל בֵּ֣ית הַבַּ֔עַל אֲשֶׁ֥ר בָּנָ֖ה בְּשֹׁמְרֽוֹן׃
וְעַתָּ֗ה לָ֚מָּה לֹ֣א גָעַ֔רְתָּ בְּיִרְמְיָ֖הוּ הָֽעֲנְּתֹתִ֑י הַמִּתְנַבֵּ֖א לָכֶֽם׃
הַנְּתִינִ֑ים בְּנֵי־ צִיחָ֥א בְנֵי־ חֲשׂוּפָ֖א בְּנֵ֥י טַבָּעֽוֹת׃
כָּל־ הַ֭יּוֹם הִתְאַוָּ֣ה תַאֲוָ֑ה וְצַדִּ֥יק יִ֝תֵּ֗ן וְלֹ֣א יַחְשֹֽׂךְ׃
Ye observe days, and months, and times, and years.
Let not then your good be evil spoken of:

Ἰδομενεὺς δʼ ἄρα Οἰνόμαον βάλε γαστέρα μέσσην,
ὣς ἄρα φωνήσας βουλῆς ἐξῆρχε νέεσθαι,
οὔτασεν, οὐδὲ διὰ πρὸ δυνήσατο χαλκὸν ἐλάσσαι·
ἦ μὴν καὶ πόνος ἐστὶν ἀνιηθέντα νέεσθαι·
ἥρῳ Λαομέδοντι πολίσσαμεν ἀθλήσαντε.
ἡμέας ὑβρίζοντες ἀτάσθαλα μηχανόωντο.
πολλὰ λισσόμενος ἔπεα πτερόεντα προσηύδα·
ὡς οὐκ ἔσθʼ ὃς σῆς γε κύνας κεφαλῆς ἀπαλάλκοι,
Τυδεΐδης Ὀδυσεύς τε καὶ Ἀτρεΐδης Ἀγαμέμνων·
καὶ δὴ δοῦρα σέσηπε νεῶν καὶ σπάρτα λέλυνται·
ἑσταότʼ ἐν δίφρῳ, κήρυκά τε ἀστυβοώτην·
بَلْ يُرِيدُ كُلُّ امْرِئٍ مِنْهُمْ أَنْ يُؤْتَى صُحُفًا مُنَشَّرَةً
فَلَمَّا آتَاهُمْ مِنْ فَضْلِهِ بَخِلُوا بِهِ وَتَوَلَّوْا وَهُمْ مُعْرِضُونَ
