כִּ֣י נִאֵ֗פוּ וְדָם֙ בִּֽידֵיהֶ֔ן וְאֶת־ גִּלּֽוּלֵיהֶ֖ן נִאֵ֑פוּ וְגַ֤ם אֶת־ בְּנֵיהֶן֙ אֲשֶׁ֣ר יָֽלְדוּ־ לִ֔י הֶעֱבִ֥ירוּ לָהֶ֖ם לְאָכְלָֽה׃
וַיִּקַּח֩ אֵלִיָּ֨הוּ אֶת־ אַדַּרְתּ֤וֹ וַיִּגְלֹם֙ וַיַּכֶּ֣ה אֶת־ הַמַּ֔יִם וַיֵּחָצ֖וּ הֵ֣נָּה וָהֵ֑נָה וַיַּעַבְר֥וּ שְׁנֵיהֶ֖ם בֶּחָרָבָֽה׃
And Joshua burnt Ai, and made it an heap for ever, even a desolation unto this day.
With the pure thou wilt shew thyself pure; and with the froward thou wilt shew thyself froward.
Wealth and riches shall be in his house: and his righteousness endureth for ever.
Do they not err that devise evil? but mercy and truth shall be to them that devise good.
Then shall ye call upon me, and ye shall go and pray unto me, and I will hearken unto you.
Those that be planted in the house of the LORD shall flourish in the courts of our God.
On this side Jordan, in the land of Moab, began Moses to declare this law, saying,
And the child Samuel grew on, and was in favour both with the LORD, and also with men.
And the altar of burnt offering with all his furniture, and the laver and his foot,
Evil shall slay the wicked: and they that hate the righteous shall be desolate.
And I will not have mercy upon her children; for they be the children of whoredoms.
And thou shalt set up the court round about, and hang up the hanging at the court gate.
A king that sitteth in the throne of judgment scattereth away all evil with his eyes.
Then saith one of his disciples, Judas Iscariot, Simon’s son, which should betray him,
Give unto the LORD the glory due unto his name; worship the LORD in the beauty of holiness.
The humble shall see this, and be glad: and your heart shall live that seek God.
And this is the offering which ye shall take of them; gold, and silver, and brass,

yena shuSNam maayinam aayaso made dudhra aabhuuSu raamayan ni daamani
sahasraakSeNa shatashaaradena shataayuSaa haviSaahaarSam enam
vaayav aa candreNa raadhasaa gatam indrash ca raadhasaa gatam
yasya shuSmaad rodasii abhyasetaaM nRmNasya mahnaa sa janaasa indraH
te siiSapanta joSam aa yajatraa Rtasya dhaaraaH sudughaa duhaanaaH
indre bhujaM shashamaanaasa aashata suuro dRshiike vRSaNash ca pauMsye
sRkvaaNaM gharmam abhi vaavashaanaa mimaati maayum payate payobhiH
Rtasya shloko badhiraa tatarda karNaa budhaanaH shucamaana aayoH
