בָּעֵ֣ת הַהִ֗יא יֵאָמֵ֤ר לָֽעָם־ הַזֶּה֙ וְלִיר֣וּשָׁלִַ֔ם ר֣וּחַ צַ֤ח שְׁפָיִים֙ בַּמִּדְבָּ֔ר דֶּ֖רֶךְ בַּת־ עַמִּ֑י ל֥וֹא לִזְר֖וֹת וְל֥וֹא לְהָבַֽר׃
וַתֹּ֖אמֶר ר֣וּת הַמּוֹאֲבִיָּ֑ה גַּ֣ם ׀ כִּי־ אָמַ֣ר אֵלַ֗י עִם־ הַנְּעָרִ֤ים אֲשֶׁר־ לִי֙ תִּדְבָּקִ֔ין עַ֣ד אִם־ כִּלּ֔וּ אֵ֥ת כָּל־ הַקָּצִ֖יר אֲשֶׁר־ לִֽי׃
וְגַם־ אֲנִי֙ אֶעֱשֶׂ֣ה בְחֵמָ֔ה לֹֽא־ תָח֥וֹס עֵינִ֖י וְלֹ֣א אֶחְמֹ֑ל וְקָרְא֤וּ בְאָזְנַי֙ ק֣וֹל גָּד֔וֹל וְלֹ֥א אֶשְׁמַ֖ע אוֹתָֽם׃
וָאֹמַ֗ר אֶל־ הַמַּלְאָ֛ךְ הַדֹּבֵ֥ר בִּ֖י מָה־ אֵ֑לֶּה וַיֹּ֣אמֶר אֵלַ֔י אֵ֤לֶּה הַקְּרָנוֹת֙ אֲשֶׁ֣ר זֵר֣וּ אֶת־ יְהוּדָ֔ה אֶת־ יִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל וִירוּשָׁלָֽם׃
וַיּ֨וֹסֶף ע֤וֹד דָּוִד֙ לִשְׁאֹ֣ל בַּֽיהוָ֔ה וַֽיַּעֲנֵ֖הוּ יְהוָ֑ה וַיֹּ֗אמֶר ק֚וּם רֵ֣ד קְעִילָ֔ה כִּֽי־ אֲנִ֥י נֹתֵ֛ן אֶת־ פְּלִשְׁתִּ֖ים בְּיָדֶֽךָ׃
וַֽיִּלְכְּדֻ֗הָ מִקְצֵה֙ שָׁלֹ֣שׁ שָׁנִ֔ים בִּשְׁנַת־ שֵׁ֖שׁ לְחִזְקִיָּ֑ה הִ֣יא שְׁנַת־ תֵּ֗שַׁע לְהוֹשֵׁ֙עַ֙ מֶ֣לֶךְ יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל נִלְכְּדָ֖ה שֹׁמְרֽוֹן׃
וַיִּפֹּ֧ל אַבְרָהָ֛ם עַל־ פָּנָ֖יו וַיִּצְחָ֑ק וַיֹּ֣אמֶר בְּלִבּ֗וֹ הַלְּבֶ֤ן מֵאָֽה־ שָׁנָה֙ יִוָּלֵ֔ד וְאִ֨ם־ שָׂרָ֔ה הֲבַת־ תִּשְׁעִ֥ים שָׁנָ֖ה תֵּלֵֽד׃
And now I stand and am judged for the hope of the promise made of God, unto our fathers:
Tremble, thou earth, at the presence of the Lord, at the presence of the God of Jacob;
They cause the naked to lodge without clothing, that they have no covering in the cold.
For he that in these things serveth Christ is acceptable to God, and approved of men.
Then said he, These are the two anointed ones, that stand by the LORD of the whole earth.
And Chepharhaammonai, and Ophni, and Gaba; twelve cities with their villages:
And the next sabbath day came almost the whole city together to hear the word of God.
Then went out to him Jerusalem, and all Judaea, and all the region round about Jordan,
I have gone astray like a lost sheep; seek thy servant; for I do not forget thy commandments.
These cities were every one with their suburbs round about them: thus were all these cities.
Trust in the LORD, and do good; so shalt thou dwell in the land, and verily thou shalt be fed.
The wicked is driven away in his wickedness: but the righteous hath hope in his death.
O my God, I cry in the day time, but thou hearest not; and in the night season, and am not silent.
Then said Zedekiah unto Jeremiah, Let no man know of these words, and thou shalt not die.
The heathen raged, the kingdoms were moved: he uttered his voice, the earth melted.
I called upon the LORD in distress: the LORD answered me, and set me in a large place.
And the angel of God spake unto me in a dream, saying, Jacob: And I said, Here am I.
So I answered and spake to the angel that talked with me, saying, What are these, my lord?
And they appointed two, Joseph called Barsabas, who was surnamed Justus, and Matthias.
An horse is a vain thing for safety: neither shall he deliver any by his great strength.

sa pratya ~N vishvaa bhuvanaani tasthaav aprayuchan taraNir bhraajamaanaH
abhinakSanto abhi ye tam aanashur nidhim paNiinaam paramaM guhaa hitam
mahii dyaavaapRthivii iha jyeSThe rucaa bhavataaM shucayadbhir arkaiH
adveSo adya barhiSa stariimaNi graavNaaM yoge manmanaH saadha iimahe
apaam upasthe vibhRto yad aavasad adha svadhaa adhayad yaabhir iiyate
brahmaNaa te brahmayujaa yunajmi harii sakhaayaa sadhamaada aashuu
takSad yat ta ushanaa sahasaa saho vi rodasii majmanaa baadhate shavaH
madhu no dyaavaapRthivii mimikSataam madhushcutaa madhudughe madhuvrate
brahmaa ca giro dadhire sam asmin mahaaMsh ca stomo adhi vardhad indre
hantaa yo vRtraM sanitota vaajaM daataa maghaani maghavaa suraadhaaH
paaraavataghniim avase suvRktibhiH sarasvatiim aa vivaasema dhiitibhiH
somo raajaa prathamo brahmajaayaam punaH praayachad ahRNiiyamaanaH
οὕτως καὶ ἡμεῖς, ὅτε ἦμεν νήπιοι, ὑπὸ τὰ στοιχεῖα τοῦ κόσμου ⸀ἤμεθα δεδουλωμένοι·
καὶ ⸀εὐθὺς ἐμβὰς εἰς τὸ πλοῖον μετὰ τῶν μαθητῶν αὐτοῦ ἦλθεν εἰς τὰ μέρη Δαλμανουθά.
⸀θεὸς γάρ ἐστιν ὁ ἐνεργῶν ἐν ὑμῖν καὶ τὸ θέλειν καὶ τὸ ἐνεργεῖν ὑπὲρ τῆς εὐδοκίας.
فَذُوقُوا بِمَا نَسِيتُمْ لِقَاءَ يَوْمِكُمْ هَذَا إِنَّا نَسِينَاكُمْ وَذُوقُوا عَذَابَ الْخُلْدِ بِمَا كُنْتُمْ تَعْمَلُونَ
