וְלֹֽא־ עֲצָב֨וֹ אָבִ֤יו מִיָּמָיו֙ לֵאמֹ֔ר מַדּ֖וּעַ כָּ֣כָה עָשִׂ֑יתָ וְגַם־ ה֤וּא טֽוֹב־ תֹּ֙אַר֙ מְאֹ֔ד וְאֹת֥וֹ יָלְדָ֖ה אַחֲרֵ֥י אַבְשָׁלֽוֹם׃
וְיֵ֞שׁ אֲשֶׁר־ יִהְיֶ֤ה הֶֽעָנָן֙ מֵעֶ֣רֶב עַד־ בֹּ֔קֶר וְנַעֲלָ֧ה הֶֽעָנָ֛ן בַּבֹּ֖קֶר וְנָסָ֑עוּ א֚וֹ יוֹמָ֣ם וָלַ֔יְלָה וְנַעֲלָ֥ה הֶעָנָ֖ן וְנָסָֽעוּ׃
וַיְצַ֣ו אוֹתָ֗ם וַיֹּ֤אמֶר אֲלֵהֶם֙ אֲנִי֙ נֶאֱסָ֣ף אֶל־ עַמִּ֔י קִבְר֥וּ אֹתִ֖י אֶל־ אֲבֹתָ֑י אֶל־ הַ֨מְּעָרָ֔ה אֲשֶׁ֥ר בִּשְׂדֵ֖ה עֶפְר֥וֹן הֽ͏ַחִתִּֽי׃
הִרְבָּ֖ה כּוֹשֵׁ֑ל גַּם־ נָפַ֞ל אִ֣ישׁ אֶל־ רֵעֵ֗הוּ וַיֹּֽאמְרוּ֙ ק֣וּמָה ׀ וְנָשֻׁ֣בָה אֶל־ עַמֵּ֗נוּ וְאֶל־ אֶ֙רֶץ֙ מֽוֹלַדְתֵּ֔נוּ מִפְּנֵ֖י חֶ֥רֶב הַיּוֹנָֽה׃
וֽ͏ַיְהִי֙ בָּעֵ֣ת הַהִ֔וא וַיֹּ֣אמֶר אֲבִימֶ֗לֶךְ וּפִיכֹל֙ שַׂר־ צְבָא֔וֹ אֶל־ אַבְרָהָ֖ם לֵאמֹ֑ר אֱלֹהִ֣ים עִמְּךָ֔ בְּכֹ֥ל אֲשֶׁר־ אַתָּ֖ה עֹשֶֽׂה׃
וַיֹּ֣אמֶר יְהוָ֗ה מִ֤י יְפַתֶּה֙ אֶת־ אַחְאָ֣ב מֶֽלֶךְ־ יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל וְיַ֕עַל וְיִפֹּ֖ל בְּרָמ֣וֹת גִּלְעָ֑ד וַיֹּ֕אמֶר זֶ֚ה אֹמֵ֣ר כָּ֔כָה וְזֶ֖ה אֹמֵ֥ר כָּֽכָה׃
וְלָקַ֨ח הַכֹּהֵ֜ן מִדַּ֤ם הַֽחַטָּאת֙ בְּאֶצְבָּע֔וֹ וְנָתַ֕ן עַל־ קַרְנֹ֖ת מִזְבַּ֣ח הָעֹלָ֑ה וְאֶת־ כָּל־ דָּמָ֣הּ יִשְׁפֹּ֔ךְ אֶל־ יְס֖וֹד הַמִּזְבֵּֽחַ׃
תִּקְרָא֩ כְי֨וֹם מוֹעֵ֤ד מְגוּרַי֙ מִסָּבִ֔יב וְלֹ֥א הָיָ֛ה בְּי֥וֹם אַף־ יְהוָ֖ה פָּלִ֣יט וְשָׂרִ֑יד אֲשֶׁר־ טִפַּ֥חְתִּי וְרִבִּ֖יתִי אֹיְבִ֥י כִלָּֽם׃
וַיֹּ֤אמֶר יְהוָה֙ אֶל־ מֹשֶׁ֔ה כְּתָב־ לְךָ֖ אֶת־ הַדְּבָרִ֣ים הָאֵ֑לֶּה כִּ֞י עַל־ פִּ֣י ׀ הַדְּבָרִ֣ים הָאֵ֗לֶּה כָּרַ֧תִּי אִתְּךָ֛ בְּרִ֖ית וְאֶת־ יִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃
אוּלַ֥י יֵ֛שׁ חֲמִשִּׁ֥ים צַדִּיקִ֖ם בְּת֣וֹךְ הָעִ֑יר הַאַ֤ף תִּסְפֶּה֙ וְלֹא־ תִשָּׂ֣א לַמָּק֔וֹם לְמַ֛עַן חֲמִשִּׁ֥ים הַצַּדִּיקִ֖ם אֲשֶׁ֥ר בְּקִרְבָּֽהּ׃
כָּל־ קֳבֵ֗ל דִּי֩ מִן־ קֳדָ֨ם מַלְכָּ֜א וְשִׁבְעַ֤ת יָעֲטֹ֙הִי֙ שְׁלִ֔יחַ לְבַקָּרָ֥א עַל־ יְה֖וּד וְלִֽירוּשְׁלֶ֑ם בְּדָ֥ת אֱלָהָ֖ךְ דִּ֥י בִידָֽךְ׃
בְּי֣וֹם אֶחָ֔ד בְּכָל־ מְדִינ֖וֹת הַמֶּ֣לֶךְ אֲחַשְׁוֵר֑וֹשׁ בִּשְׁלוֹשָׁ֥ה עָשָׂ֛ר לְחֹ֥דֶשׁ שְׁנֵים־ עָשָׂ֖ר הוּא־ חֹ֥דֶשׁ אֲדָֽר׃
וַיַּחֲנ֥וּ בְנֵֽי־ יִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל בַּגִּלְגָּ֑ל וַיַּעֲשׂ֣וּ אֶת־ הַפֶּ֡סַח בְּאַרְבָּעָה֩ עָשָׂ֨ר י֥וֹם לַחֹ֛דֶשׁ בָּעֶ֖רֶב בְּעַֽרְב֥וֹת יְרִיחֽוֹ׃
For then shalt thou lift up thy face without spot; yea, thou shalt be stedfast, and shalt not fear:
And their eyes were opened; and Jesus straitly charged them, saying, See that no man know it.
And gave them the lands of the heathen: and they inherited the labour of the people;
Shall the throne of iniquity have fellowship with thee, which frameth mischief by a law?
While it is said, To day if ye will hear his voice, harden not your hearts, as in the provocation.
The king by judgment establisheth the land: but he that receiveth gifts overthroweth it.
And the disciples did as Jesus had appointed them; and they made ready the passover.
But unto none of them was Elias sent, save unto Sarepta, a city of Sidon, unto a woman that was a widow.
How shall I curse, whom God hath not cursed? or how shall I defy, whom the LORD hath not defied?
The heart of the prudent getteth knowledge; and the ear of the wise seeketh knowledge.

dasraa hiraNyavartanii suSumnaa sindhuvaahasaa maadhvii mama shrutaM havaM \.\
ghRtasya dhaaraa aruSo na vaajii kaaSThaa bhindann uurmibhiH pinvamaanaH
aagne yaahi sahasraM devavandaiH paraiH puurvaiH pitRbhir gharmasadbhiH
gandharva itthaa padam asya rakSati paati devaanaaM janimaany adbhutaH
abhiivRteva taa mahaapadena dhvaantaat prapitvaad ud aranta garbhaaH
ghRtaM caapaam puruSaM cauSadhiinaam agnesh ca diirgham aayur astu devaaH
yash caapash candraa bRhatiir jajaana kasmai devaaya haviSaa vidhema
νεωτέρας δὲ χήρας παραιτοῦ· ὅταν γὰρ καταστρηνιάσωσιν τοῦ Χριστοῦ, γαμεῖν θέλουσιν,
καὶ εἶπεν πρὸς αὐτούς· Τί ὅτι ἐζητεῖτέ με; οὐκ ᾔδειτε ὅτι ἐν τοῖς τοῦ πατρός μου δεῖ εἶναί με;
أَمْ يَقُولُونَ افْتَرَاهُ قُلْ فَأْتُوا بِعَشْرِ سُوَرٍ مِثْلِهِ مُفْتَرَيَاتٍ وَادْعُوا مَنِ اسْتَطَعْتُمْ مِنْ دُونِ اللَّهِ إِنْ كُنْتُمْ صَادِقِينَ
قُلْ إِنْ كَانَتْ لَكُمُ الدَّارُ الْآخِرَةُ عِنْدَ اللَّهِ خَالِصَةً مِنْ دُونِ النَّاسِ فَتَمَنَّوُا الْمَوْتَ إِنْ كُنْتُمْ صَادِقِينَ
ذَلِكَ بِأَنَّ اللَّهَ لَمْ يَكُ مُغَيِّرًا نِعْمَةً أَنْعَمَهَا عَلَى قَوْمٍ حَتَّى يُغَيِّرُوا مَا بِأَنْفُسِهِمْ وَأَنَّ اللَّهَ سَمِيعٌ عَلِيمٌ
ذَلِكَ بِأَنَّهُمْ كَانَتْ تَأْتِيهِمْ رُسُلُهُمْ بِالْبَيِّنَاتِ فَكَفَرُوا فَأَخَذَهُمُ اللَّهُ إِنَّهُ قَوِيٌّ شَدِيدُ الْعِقَابِ
