וְאֵ֣ת הֶֽעָרִ֗ים אֲשֶׁ֤ר תִּתְּנוּ֙ לַלְוִיִּ֔ם אֵ֚ת שֵׁשׁ־ עָרֵ֣י הַמִּקְלָ֔ט אֲשֶׁ֣ר תִּתְּנ֔וּ לָנֻ֥ס שָׁ֖מָּה הָרֹצֵ֑חַ וַעֲלֵיהֶ֣ם תִּתְּנ֔וּ אַרְבָּעִ֥ים וּשְׁתַּ֖יִם עִֽיר׃
וַיִּקְרַ֤ב אֵלָיו֙ רַ֣ב הַחֹבֵ֔ל וַיֹּ֥אמֶר ל֖וֹ מַה־ לְּךָ֣ נִרְדָּ֑ם ק֚וּם קְרָ֣א אֶל־ אֱלֹהֶ֔יךָ אוּלַ֞י יִתְעַשֵּׁ֧ת הָאֱלֹהִ֛ים לָ֖נוּ וְלֹ֥א נֹאבֵֽד׃
וַיְכַ֧ל שְׁלֹמֹ֛ה אֶת־ בֵּ֥ית יְהוָ֖ה וְאֶת־ בֵּ֣ית הַמֶּ֑לֶךְ וְאֵ֨ת כָּל־ הַבָּ֜א עַל־ לֵ֣ב שְׁלֹמֹ֗ה לַעֲשׂ֧וֹת בְּבֵית־ יְהוָ֛ה וּבְבֵית֖וֹ הִצְלִֽיחַ׃
וַיֹּ֣אמֶר דָּוִ֔יד כָּל־ מַכֵּ֤ה יְבוּסִי֙ בָּרִ֣אשׁוֹנָ֔ה יִהְיֶ֥ה לְרֹ֖אשׁ וּלְשָׂ֑ר וַיַּ֧עַל בָּרִאשׁוֹנָ֛ה יוֹאָ֥ב בֶּן־ צְרוּיָ֖ה וַיְהִ֥י לְרֹֽאשׁ׃
וַיֹּ֨אמֶר דָּוִ֜ד אֶל־ אוּרִיָּ֗ה שֵׁ֥ב בָּזֶּ֛ה גַּם־ הַיּ֖וֹם וּמָחָ֣ר אֲשַׁלְּחֶ֑ךָּ וַיֵּ֨שֶׁב אוּרִיָּ֧ה בִירוּשָׁלַ֛͏ִם בַּיּ֥וֹם הַה֖וּא וּמִֽמָּחֳרָֽת׃
וְאֵ֣סָעֲרֵ֗ם עַ֤ל כָּל־ הַגּוֹיִם֙ אֲשֶׁ֣ר לֹֽא־ יְדָע֔וּם וְהָאָ֙רֶץ֙ נָשַׁ֣מָּה אַֽחֲרֵיהֶ֔ם מֵֽעֹבֵ֖ר וּמִשָּׁ֑ב וַיָּשִׂ֥ימוּ אֶֽרֶץ־ חֶמְדָּ֖ה לְשַׁמָּֽה׃
וּמִן־ הַכֹּ֣הֲנִ֔ים בְּנֵ֥י חֳבַיָּ֖ה בְּנֵ֣י הַקּ֑וֹץ בְּנֵ֣י בַרְזִלַּ֗י אֲשֶׁ֣ר לָ֠קַח מִבְּנ֞וֹת בַּרְזִלַּ֤י הַגִּלְעָדִי֙ אִשָּׁ֔ה וַיִּקָּרֵ֖א עַל־ שְׁמָֽם׃
וַיָּ֤שֶׂם דָּוִיד֙ בַּאֲרַ֣ם דַּרְמֶ֔שֶׂק וַיְהִ֤י אֲרָם֙ לְדָוִ֔יד עֲבָדִ֖ים נֹשְׂאֵ֣י מִנְחָ֑ה וַיּ֤וֹשַׁע יְהוָה֙ לְדָוִ֔יד בְּכֹ֖ל אֲשֶׁ֥ר הָלָֽךְ׃
וְתֵרֶ֤א אֹיַ֙בְתִּי֙ וּתְכַסֶּ֣הָ בוּשָׁ֔ה הָאֹמְרָ֣ה אֵלַ֔י אַיּ֖וֹ יְהוָ֣ה אֱלֹהָ֑יִךְ עֵינַי֙ תִּרְאֶ֣ינָּה בָּ֔הּ עַתָּ֛ה תִּֽהְיֶ֥ה לְמִרְמָ֖ס כְּטִ֥יט חוּצֽוֹת׃
וַיִּקְרָ֨א דָוִ֜ד אֶל־ הָעָ֗ם וְאֶל־ אַבְנֵ֤ר בֶּן־ נֵר֙ לֵאמֹ֔ר הֲל֥וֹא תַעֲנֶ֖ה אַבְנֵ֑ר וַיַּ֤עַן אַבְנֵר֙ וַיֹּ֔אמֶר מִ֥י אַתָּ֖ה קָרָ֥אתָ אֶל־ הַמֶּֽלֶךְ׃
וְגַם־ עַבְדֵ֤י חירם חוּרָם֙ וְעַבְדֵ֣י שְׁלֹמֹ֔ה אֲשֶׁר־ הֵבִ֥יאוּ זָהָ֖ב מֵאוֹפִ֑יר הֵבִ֛יאוּ עֲצֵ֥י אַלְגּוּמִּ֖ים וְאֶ֥בֶן יְקָרָֽה׃
וַיְהִ֣י ׀ כִּמְלֹ֣את הַכֵּלִ֗ים וַתֹּ֤אמֶר אֶל־ בְּנָהּ֙ הַגִּ֨ישָׁה אֵלַ֥י עוֹד֙ כֶּ֔לִי וַיֹּ֣אמֶר אֵלֶ֔יהָ אֵ֥ין ע֖וֹד כֶּ֑לִי וַֽיַּעֲמֹ֖ד הַשָּֽׁמֶן׃
וַיֹּ֨אמֶר הַמֶּ֜לֶךְ אֶל־ אַבְשָׁל֗וֹם אַל־ בְּנִי֙ אַל־ נָ֤א נֵלֵךְ֙ כֻּלָּ֔נוּ וְלֹ֥א נִכְבַּ֖ד עָלֶ֑יךָ וַיִּפְרָץ־ בּ֛וֹ וְלֹֽא־ אָבָ֥ה לָלֶ֖כֶת וַֽיְבָרֲכֵֽהוּ׃
וַיֹּאמֶר֩ בֹּ֨עַז אֶל־ ר֜וּת הֲל֧וֹא שָׁמַ֣עַתְּ בִּתִּ֗י אַל־ תֵּלְכִי֙ לִלְקֹט֙ בְּשָׂדֶ֣ה אַחֵ֔ר וְגַ֛ם לֹ֥א תַעֲבוּרִ֖י מִזֶּ֑ה וְכֹ֥ה תִדְבָּקִ֖ין עִם־ נַעֲרֹתָֽי׃
וַ֠יִּשְׁלַח חירם חוּרָ֨ם מֶֽלֶךְ־ צֹ֥ר מַלְאָכִים֮ אֶל־ דָּוִיד֒ וַעֲצֵ֣י אֲרָזִ֔ים וְחָרָשֵׁ֣י קִ֔יר וְחָרָשֵׁ֖י עֵצִ֑ים לִבְנ֥וֹת ל֖וֹ בָּֽיִת׃
Then they cried out with a loud voice, and stopped their ears, and ran upon him with one accord,
And they, when they had heard that he was alive, and had been seen of her, believed not.
And Moses sent to call Dathan and Abiram, the sons of Eliab: which said, We will not come up:
Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders,
Thus was he fair in his greatness, in the length of his branches: for his root was by great waters.
And if he have no brethren, then ye shall give his inheritance unto his father’s brethren.
It is he that giveth salvation unto kings: who delivereth David his servant from the hurtful sword.
Ye fools and blind: for whether is greater, the gift, or the altar that sanctifieth the gift?
By faith Moses, when he was come to years, refused to be called the son of Pharaoh’s daughter;

Then began he to curse and to swear, saying, I know not the man. And immediately the cock crew.

Ye shall offer at your own will a male without blemish, of the beeves, of the sheep, or of the goats.
And when he had spoken such words unto me, I set my face toward the ground, and I became dumb.
Heal me, O LORD, and I shall be healed; save me, and I shall be saved: for thou art my praise.
And he touched her hand, and the fever left her: and she arose, and ministered unto them.
And to knowledge temperance; and to temperance patience; and to patience godliness;
An evil disease, say they, cleaveth fast unto him: and now that he lieth he shall rise up no more.
Let the sea roar, and the fulness thereof: let the fields rejoice, and all that is therein.
Plead my cause, O LORD, with them that strive with me: fight against them that fight against me.
They that trust in the LORD shall be as mount Zion, which cannot be removed, but abideth for ever.

vadharyantiim bahubhyaH praiko abraviid Rtaa vadantash camasaaM+ apiMshata
yebhir nRmNaa ca devyaaaa\ ca punata aad id raajaanam mananaa agRbhNata
yo bhojanaM ca dayase ca vardhanam aardraad aa shuSkam madhumad dudohitha
कार्यकारणकर्तृत्वे हेतुः प्रकृतिरुच्यते । पुरुषः सुखदुःखानां भोक्तृत्वे हेतुरुच्यते
आवृतं ज्ञानमेतेन ज्ञानिनो नित्यवैरिणा । कामरूपेण कौन्तेय दुष्पूरेणानलेन च
बुद्धियुक्तो जहातीह उभे सुकृतदुष्कृते । तस्माद्योगाय युज्यस्व योगः कर्मसु कौशलम्
Καὶ ναὸν οὐκ εἶδον ἐν αὐτῇ, ὁ γὰρ κύριος, ὁ θεός, ὁ παντοκράτωρ, ναὸς αὐτῆς ἐστιν, καὶ τὸ ἀρνίον.
Καί τινων λεγόντων περὶ τοῦ ἱεροῦ, ὅτι λίθοις καλοῖς καὶ ἀναθήμασιν κεκόσμηται εἶπεν·
مَا كَانَ لِنَبِيٍّ أَنْ يَكُونَ لَهُ أَسْرَى حَتَّى يُثْخِنَ فِي الْأَرْضِ تُرِيدُونَ عَرَضَ الدُّنْيَا وَاللَّهُ يُرِيدُ الْآخِرَةَ وَاللَّهُ عَزِيزٌ حَكِيمٌ
فَلَمْ يَكُ يَنْفَعُهُمْ إِيمَانُهُمْ لَمَّا رَأَوْا بَأْسَنَا سُنَّتَ اللَّهِ الَّتِي قَدْ خَلَتْ فِي عِبَادِهِ وَخَسِرَ هُنَالِكَ الْكَافِرُونَ
مَا أَصَابَكَ مِنْ حَسَنَةٍ فَمِنَ اللَّهِ وَمَا أَصَابَكَ مِنْ سَيِّئَةٍ فَمِنْ نَفْسِكَ وَأَرْسَلْنَاكَ لِلنَّاسِ رَسُولًا وَكَفَى بِاللَّهِ شَهِيدًا
