בְּנֵ֧י אַרְוַ֣ד וְחֵילֵ֗ךְ עַל־ חוֹמוֹתַ֙יִךְ֙ סָבִ֔יב וְגַ֨מָּדִ֔ים בְּמִגְדְּלוֹתַ֖יִךְ הָי֑וּ שִׁלְטֵיהֶ֞ם תִּלּ֤וּ עַל־ חוֹמוֹתַ֙יִךְ֙ סָבִ֔יב הֵ֖מָּה כָּלְל֥וּ יָפְיֵֽךְ׃
וַיִּשְׁלַ֧ח יְהוָ֛ה אֶת־ נָתָ֖ן אֶל־ דָּוִ֑ד וַיָּבֹ֣א אֵלָ֗יו וַיֹּ֤אמֶר לוֹ֙ שְׁנֵ֣י אֲנָשִׁ֗ים הָיוּ֙ בְּעִ֣יר אֶחָ֔ת אֶחָ֥ד עָשִׁ֖יר וְאֶחָ֥ד רָֽאשׁ׃
וְאֶת־ הָרִמֹּנִ֛ים אַרְבַּ֥ע מֵא֖וֹת לִשְׁתֵּ֣י הַשְּׂבָכ֑וֹת שְׁנֵֽי־ טוּרִ֤ים רִמֹּנִים֙ לַשְּׂבָכָ֣ה הָֽאֶחָ֔ת לְכַסּ֗וֹת אֶת־ שְׁתֵּי֙ גֻּלֹּ֣ת הַכֹּֽתָרֹ֔ת אֲשֶׁ֖ר עַל־ פְּנֵ֥י הָעַמּוּדִֽים׃
וְעַתָּ֗ה אִם־ בֶּאֱמֶ֤ת וּבְתָמִים֙ עֲשִׂיתֶ֔ם וַתַּמְלִ֖יכוּ אֶת־ אֲבִימֶ֑לֶךְ וְאִם־ טוֹבָ֤ה עֲשִׂיתֶם֙ עִם־ יְרֻבַּ֣עַל וְעִם־ בֵּית֔וֹ וְאִם־ כִּגְמ֥וּל יָדָ֖יו עֲשִׂ֥יתֶם לֽוֹ׃
Zedekiah was one and twenty years old when he began to reign, and reigned eleven years in Jerusalem.
For he cometh in with vanity, and departeth in darkness, and his name shall be covered with darkness.
And I have consumed them, and wounded them, that they could not arise: yea, they are fallen under my feet.
And we desire that every one of you do shew the same diligence to the full assurance of hope unto the end:
And the battle went sore against Saul, and the archers hit him; and he was sore wounded of the archers.

But the thing displeased Samuel, when they said, Give us a king to judge us. And Samuel prayed unto the LORD.
Or suffer them to bear the iniquity of trespass, when they eat their holy things: for I the LORD do sanctify them.
And he did that which was evil in the sight of the LORD, according to all that his fathers had done.
So then he that giveth her in marriage doeth well; but he that giveth her not in marriage doeth better.
aa vaaM ratho niyutvaan vakSad avase .abhi prayaaMsi sudhitaani viitaye vaayo havyaani viitaye
भक्त्या मामभिजानाति यावान्यश्चास्मि तत्त्वतः । ततो मां तत्त्वतो ज्ञात्वा विशते तदनन्तरम्
महर्षयः सप्त पूर्वे चत्वारो मनवस्तथा । मद्भावा मानसा जाता येषां लोक इमाः प्रजाः
भक्त्या त्वनन्यया शक्य अहमेवंविधोऽर्जुन । ज्ञातुं द्रष्टुं च तत्त्वेन प्रवेष्टुं च परन्तप
ὅτι οὐκ ἔθετο ἡμᾶς ὁ θεὸς εἰς ὀργὴν ἀλλὰ εἰς περιποίησιν σωτηρίας διὰ τοῦ κυρίου ἡμῶν Ἰησοῦ Χριστοῦ,
Ἢ ἀγνοεῖτε, ἀδελφοί, γινώσκουσιν γὰρ νόμον λαλῶ, ὅτι ὁ νόμος κυριεύει τοῦ ἀνθρώπου ἐφʼ ὅσον χρόνον ζῇ;
فَلَمَّا ذَهَبُوا بِهِ وَأَجْمَعُوا أَنْ يَجْعَلُوهُ فِي غَيَابَتِ الْجُبِّ وَأَوْحَيْنَا إِلَيْهِ لَتُنَبِّئَنَّهُمْ بِأَمْرِهِمْ هَذَا وَهُمْ لَا يَشْعُرُونَ
