בֶּן־ אֲבִישׁ֗וּעַ בֶּן־ פִּֽינְחָס֙ בֶּן־ אֶלְעָזָ֔ר בֶּן־ אַהֲרֹ֥ן הַכֹּהֵ֖ן הָרֹֽאשׁ׃
לְמַ֥עַן אֲסַפְּרָ֗ה כָּֽל־ תְּהִלָּ֫תֶ֥יךָ בְּשַֽׁעֲרֵ֥י בַת־ צִיּ֑וֹן אָ֝גִ֗ילָה בִּישׁוּעָתֶֽךָ׃
הִנֵּ֛ה עַ֥ם בָּ֖א מִצָּפ֑וֹן וְג֤וֹי גָּדוֹל֙ וּמְלָכִ֣ים רַבִּ֔ים יֵעֹ֖רוּ מִיַּרְכְּתֵי־ אָֽרֶץ׃
וְנֶ֣פֶשׁ אָדָ֔ם שִׁשָּׁ֥ה עָשָׂ֖ר אָ֑לֶף וּמִכְסָם֙ לַֽיהוָ֔ה שְׁנַ֥יִם וּשְׁלֹשִׁ֖ים נָֽפֶשׁ׃
וְלִשְׁכָּ֣ה וּפִתְחָ֔הּ בְּאֵילִ֖ים הַשְּׁעָרִ֑ים שָׁ֖ם יָדִ֥יחוּ אֶת־ הָעֹלָֽה׃
And Hazargaddah, and Heshmon, and Bethpalet,
His legs of iron, his feet part of iron and part of clay.
And Ziklag, and Bethmarcaboth, and Hazarsusah,
So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God.
If they break my statutes, and keep not my commandments;
He then lying on Jesus’ breast saith unto him, Lord, who is it?
They rewarded me evil for good to the spoiling of my soul.
Not for any injustice in mine hands: also my prayer is pure.

Αἰγυπτίας, ὅθι πλεῖστα δόμοις ἐν κτήματα κεῖται,
ἐμμεμαυῖα θεά· μέγα δʼ ἔβραχε φήγινος ἄξων
οἳ δὲ καὶ ἀχνύμενοί περ ἐπʼ αὐτῷ ἡδὺ γέλασσαν·
ὣς φάτο, Τυδεΐδης δὲ μάλα σχεδὸν ἦλθε διώκων,
πιμπλάνεται μένεος, σὲ δʼ ἀναίνεται ἠδὲ σὰ δῶρα.
فَأَمَّا مَنْ تَابَ وَآمَنَ وَعَمِلَ صَالِحًا فَعَسَى أَنْ يَكُونَ مِنَ الْمُفْلِحِينَ
