וְאָֽנֹכִי֙ נְטַעְתִּ֣יךְ שֹׂרֵ֔ק כֻּלֹּ֖ה זֶ֣רַע אֱמֶ֑ת וְאֵיךְ֙ נֶהְפַּ֣כְתְּ לִ֔י סוּרֵ֖י הַגֶּ֥פֶן נָכְרִיָּֽה׃
O LORD our Lord, how excellent is thy name in all the earth!
Now therefore thus saith the LORD of hosts; Consider your ways.
The word of the LORD that came to Joel the son of Pethuel.
Seeing that many glory after the flesh, I will glory also.

apasphuraM gRbhaayata somam indraaya paatave
te no ratnaani dhattana trir aa saaptaani sunvate
aapo adyaanv acaariSaM rasena sam agasmahi
tam RSe maarutaM gaNaM namasyaa ramayaa giraa

yo devaan vishvaaM+ it pari madena saha gachati
tvaM cittii tava dakSair diva aa pRthivyaa RjiiSin
yad asya dhaamani priye samiiciinaaso asvaran
shikSaa Na indra raaya aa puru vidvaaM+ RciiSama
indrehi matsy andhaso vishvebhiH somaparvabhiH
stomaasas tvaa vicaariNi prati STobhanty aktubhiH
devaanaam id avo mahat tad aa vRNiimahe vayam
yad dha kSaye maghonaaM stotRRNaaM ca spuurdhase
uurdhvaa yat te tretinii bhuud yaj~nasya dhuurSu sadman
yasya te svaadu sakhyaM svaadvii praNiitir adrivaH
sa tvaM no raayaH shishiihi miiDhvo agne suviiryasya
etaavaan asya mahimaato jyaayaaMsh ca puuruSaH
taraNiM vo janaanaaM tradaM vaajasya gomataH
hiraNyaruupam uSaso vyu\STaav ayasthuuNam uditaa suuryasya
vivyaktha mahinaa vRSan bhakSaM somasya jaagRve
μήτι ἡ πηγὴ ἐκ τῆς αὐτῆς ὀπῆς βρύει τὸ γλυκὺ καὶ τὸ πικρόν;
