וְעַמֵּךְ֙ כֻּלָּ֣ם צַדִּיקִ֔ים לְעוֹלָ֖ם יִ֣ירְשׁוּ אָ֑רֶץ נֵ֧צֶר מטעו מַטָּעַ֛י מַעֲשֵׂ֥ה יָדַ֖י לְהִתְפָּאֵֽר׃
רַ֠ק בְּחַטֹּ֞אות יָרָבְעָ֧ם בֶּֽן־ נְבָ֛ט אֲשֶׁר־ הֶחֱטִ֥יא אֶת־ יִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל דָּבֵ֑ק לֹא־ סָ֖ר מִמֶּֽנָּה׃
וַיִּצָּעֵ֧ק אִֽישׁ־ יִשְׂרָאֵ֛ל מִנַּפְתָּלִ֥י וּמִן־ אָשֵׁ֖ר וּמִן־ כָּל־ מְנַשֶּׁ֑ה וַֽיִּרְדְּפ֖וּ אַחֲרֵ֥י מִדְיָֽן׃
וַיִּקְרָא֙ מֶ֣לֶךְ יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל אֶל־ סָרִ֖יס אֶחָ֑ד וַיֹּ֕אמֶר מַהֵ֖ר מיכהו מִיכָ֥יְהוּ בֶן־ יִמְלָֽא׃
וְעַל־ יָד֣וֹ הֶחֱזִ֗יק שַׁלּוּם֙ בֶּן־ הַלּוֹחֵ֔שׁ שַׂ֕ר חֲצִ֖י פֶּ֣לֶךְ יְרוּשָׁלָ֑͏ִם ה֖וּא וּבְנוֹתָֽיו׃
תָּקְע֤וּ בַתָּק֙וֹעַ֙ וְהָכִ֣ין הַכֹּ֔ל וְאֵ֥ין הֹלֵ֖ךְ לַמִּלְחָמָ֑ה כִּ֥י חֲרוֹנִ֖י אֶל־ כָּל־ הֲמוֹנָֽהּ׃
יֶ֤תֶר הַגָּזָם֙ אָכַ֣ל הָֽאַרְבֶּ֔ה וְיֶ֥תֶר הָאַרְבֶּ֖ה אָכַ֣ל הַיָּ֑לֶק וְיֶ֣תֶר הַיֶּ֔לֶק אָכַ֖ל הֶחָסִֽיל׃
הִכּ֥וּנִי בַל־ חָלִיתִי֮ הֲלָמ֗וּנִי בַּל־ יָ֫דָ֥עְתִּי מָתַ֥י אָקִ֑יץ א֝וֹסִ֗יף אֲבַקְשֶׁ֥נּוּ עֽוֹד׃
אֵין־ מְנַהֵ֣ל לָ֔הּ מִכָּל־ בָּנִ֖ים יָלָ֑דָה וְאֵ֤ין מַחֲזִיק֙ בְּיָדָ֔הּ מִכָּל־ בָּנִ֖ים גִּדֵּֽלָה׃
וַיֹּ֙אמֶר֙ אֶל־ מֹשֶׁ֔ה אֲנִ֛י חֹתֶנְךָ֥ יִתְר֖וֹ בָּ֣א אֵלֶ֑יךָ וְאִ֨שְׁתְּךָ֔ וּשְׁנֵ֥י בָנֶ֖יהָ עִמָּֽהּ׃
וַיֹּ֣אמֶר אֵלַ֔י בֶּן־ אָדָ֖ם חֲתָר־ נָ֣א בַקִּ֑יר וָאֶחְתֹּ֣ר בַּקִּ֔יר וְהִנֵּ֖ה פֶּ֥תַח אֶחָֽד׃
וַתֹּ֙אמֶר֙ אֶל־ עֲבָדֶ֔יךָ אִם־ לֹ֥א יֵרֵ֛ד אֲחִיכֶ֥ם הַקָּטֹ֖ן אִתְּכֶ֑ם לֹ֥א תֹסִפ֖וּן לִרְא֥וֹת פָּנָֽי׃
ס֣וּרוּ טָמֵ֞א קָ֣רְאוּ לָ֗מוֹ ס֤וּרוּ ס֙וּרוּ֙ אַל־ תִּגָּ֔עוּ כִּ֥י נָצ֖וּ גַּם־ נָ֑עוּ אָֽמְרוּ֙ בַּגּוֹיִ֔ם לֹ֥א יוֹסִ֖יפוּ לָגֽוּר׃
וַיִּסְע֧וּ בְנֵֽי־ יִשְׂרָאֵ֛ל מֵרַעְמְסֵ֖ס סֻכֹּ֑תָה כְּשֵׁשׁ־ מֵא֨וֹת אֶ֧לֶף רַגְלִ֛י הַגְּבָרִ֖ים לְבַ֥ד מִטָּֽף׃
When pride cometh, then cometh shame: but with the lowly is wisdom.
But the word of God came unto Shemaiah the man of God, saying,
Take Aaron and Eleazar his son, and bring them up unto mount Hor:
Be not desirous of his dainties: for they are deceitful meat.

yas te drapsa skanno yas te aMshur avash ca yaH paraH srucaa
adrogham aa vahoshato yaviSThya devaaM+ ajasra viitaye
nakir hy e\SaaM januuMSi veda te a~Nga vidre mitho janitram
ἐκείνη ⸀δὲ ὡς ἤκουσεν ⸀ἠγέρθη ταχὺ καὶ ⸀ἤρχετο πρὸς αὐτόν·
ὥστε μηδεὶς καυχάσθω ἐν ἀνθρώποις· πάντα γὰρ ὑμῶν ἐστιν,
καὶ ἔλεγεν ⸀αὐτοῖς· Κύριός ἐστιν ⸂τοῦ σαββάτου ὁ υἱὸς τοῦ ἀνθρώπου⸃.
Εἰσῆλθεν δὲ διαλογισμὸς ἐν αὐτοῖς, τὸ τίς ἂν εἴη μείζων αὐτῶν.
قُلْ صَدَقَ اللَّهُ فَاتَّبِعُوا مِلَّةَ إِبْرَاهِيمَ حَنِيفًا وَمَا كَانَ مِنَ الْمُشْرِكِينَ
قَالَتْ إِحْدَاهُمَا يَا أَبَتِ اسْتَأْجِرْهُ إِنَّ خَيْرَ مَنِ اسْتَأْجَرْتَ الْقَوِيُّ الْأَمِينُ
