וַיִּפְנ֥וּ אֵלַ֛י עֹ֖רֶף וְלֹ֣א פָנִ֑ים וְלַמֵּ֤ד אֹתָם֙ הַשְׁכֵּ֣ם וְלַמֵּ֔ד וְאֵינָ֥ם שֹׁמְעִ֖ים לָקַ֥חַת מוּסָֽר׃
בֵּ֣ין רַגְלֶ֔יהָ כָּרַ֥ע נָפַ֖ל שָׁכָ֑ב בֵּ֤ין רַגְלֶ֙יהָ֙ כָּרַ֣ע נָפָ֔ל בַּאֲשֶׁ֣ר כָּרַ֔ע שָׁ֖ם נָפַ֥ל שָׁדֽוּד׃
גול גִּ֣יל יגול יָ֭גִיל אֲבִ֣י צַדִּ֑יק יולד וְיוֹלֵ֥ד חָ֝כָ֗ם וישמח־ יִשְׂמַח־ בּֽוֹ׃
וַיֵּֽאָסְפ֤וּ יְרוּשָׁלִַ֙ם֙ עַם־ רָ֔ב לַעֲשׂ֛וֹת אֶת־ חַ֥ג הַמַּצּ֖וֹת בַּחֹ֣דֶשׁ הַשֵּׁנִ֑י קָהָ֖ל לָרֹ֥ב מְאֹֽד׃
וּבָר֥וּךְ טַעְמֵ֖ךְ וּבְרוּכָ֣ה אָ֑תְּ אֲשֶׁ֨ר כְּלִתִ֜נִי הַיּ֤וֹם הַזֶּה֙ מִבּ֣וֹא בְדָמִ֔ים וְהֹשֵׁ֥עַ יָדִ֖י לִֽי׃
וַתֹּ֕אמֶר הִנֵּ֛ה אֲמָתִ֥י בִלְהָ֖ה בֹּ֣א אֵלֶ֑יהָ וְתֵלֵד֙ עַל־ בִּרְכַּ֔י וְאִבָּנֶ֥ה גַם־ אָנֹכִ֖י מִמֶּֽנָּה׃
וְגַ֨ם־ לְאִיזֶ֔בֶל דִּבֶּ֥ר יְהוָ֖ה לֵאמֹ֑ר הַכְּלָבִ֛ים יֹאכְל֥וּ אֶת־ אִיזֶ֖בֶל בְּחֵ֥ל יִזְרְעֶֽאל׃
וַתֹּ֤אמֶר רָחֵל֙ דָּנַ֣נִּי אֱלֹהִ֔ים וְגַם֙ שָׁמַ֣ע בְּקֹלִ֔י וַיִּתֶּן־ לִ֖י בֵּ֑ן עַל־ כֵּ֛ן קָרְאָ֥ה שְׁמ֖וֹ דָּֽן׃
They say unto him, Master, this woman was taken in adultery, in the very act.
And the people murmured against Moses, saying, What shall we drink?
Gad, a troop shall overcome him: but he shall overcome at the last.
Oil for the light, spices for anointing oil, and for sweet incense,
And hereby we do know that we know him, if we keep his commandments.

pra yat samudram ati shuura parSi paarayaa turvashaM yaduM svasti
ni yaa deveSu yatate vasuuyur vidyaameSaM vRjanaM jiiradaanum
anu tan no jaaspatir maMsiiSTa ratnaM devasya savitur iyaanaH
apaaM tokasya tanayasya jeSe marutvaan no bhavatv indra uutii
adrogho na dravitaa cetati tmann amartyo .avartra oSadhiiSu
ye naH puurve pitaraH somyaaso .anuuhire somapiithaM vasiSThaaH
pra no mitraaya varuNaaya voco .anaagaso aryamNe agnaye ca
yam ashvinaa suhavaa rudravartanii aa suuryaayai tasthathuH
atiiyaama nidas tiraH svastibhir hitvaavadyam araatiiH
vyuurNvatii daashuSe vaaryaaNi punar jyotir yuvatiH puurvathaakaH
pra yat samudram ati shuura parSi paarayaa turvashaM yaduM svasti
apa dveSo maghonii duhitaa diva uSaa uchad apa sridhaH
aasaa yad asya payo akrata svaM sacetaso abhy a\rcanty atra
na yad duuraad vasavo nuu cid antito varuutham aadadharSati
καὶ λαβόντες αὐτὸν ἐξέβαλον ἔξω τοῦ ἀμπελῶνος καὶ ἀπέκτειναν.
وَمَنْ أَظْلَمُ مِمَّنْ ذُكِّرَ بِآيَاتِ رَبِّهِ ثُمَّ أَعْرَضَ عَنْهَا إِنَّا مِنَ الْمُجْرِمِينَ مُنْتَقِمُونَ
