וַיֹּ֣אמֶר הַמֶּ֔לֶךְ לַחֲכָמִ֖ים יֹדְעֵ֣י הֽ͏ָעִתִּ֑ים כִּי־ כֵן֙ דְּבַ֣ר הַמֶּ֔לֶךְ לִפְנֵ֕י כָּל־ יֹדְעֵ֖י דָּ֥ת וָדִֽין׃
יְהוָ֛ה מָסַ֥ךְ בְּקִרְבָּ֖הּ ר֣וּחַ עִוְעִ֑ים וְהִתְע֤וּ אֶת־ מִצְרַ֙יִם֙ בְּכָֽל־ מַעֲשֵׂ֔הוּ כְּהִתָּע֥וֹת שִׁכּ֖וֹר בְּקִיאֽוֹ׃
כְּאַרְבָּעִ֥ים אֶ֖לֶף חֲלוּצֵ֣י הַצָּבָ֑א עָבְר֞וּ לִפְנֵ֤י יְהוָה֙ לַמִּלְחָמָ֔ה אֶ֖ל עַֽרְב֥וֹת יְרִיחֽוֹ׃
And he confessed, and denied not; but confessed, I am not the Christ.
And in the house his disciples asked him again of the same matter.
Rejoicing in hope; patient in tribulation; continuing instant in prayer;

yo vaaM duuto na dhiSNyaav ajiigar achaa suunur na pitaraa vivakmi
tvad vipro jaayate vaajy a\gne tvad viiraaso abhimaatiSaahaH
gor na parva vi radaa tirashceSyann arNaaMsy apaaM caradhyai
sa kakSiivantaM rejayat so agniM nemiM na cakram arvato raghudru
vishvaavasur abhi tan no gRNaatu divyo gandharvo rajaso vimaanaH
yad uttame maruto madhyame vaa yad vaavame subhagaaso divi STha
