הַיֹּשֵׁב֙ עַל־ ח֣וּג הָאָ֔רֶץ וְיֹשְׁבֶ֖יהָ כַּחֲגָבִ֑ים הַנּוֹטֶ֤ה כַדֹּק֙ שָׁמַ֔יִם וַיִּמְתָּחֵ֥ם כָּאֹ֖הֶל לָשָֽׁבֶת׃
שֻׁדַּ֤ד מוֹאָב֙ וְעָרֶ֣יהָ עָלָ֔ה וּמִבְחַ֥ר בַּֽחוּרָ֖יו יָרְד֣וּ לַטָּ֑בַח נְאֻ֨ם־ הַמֶּ֔לֶךְ יְהוָ֥ה צְבָא֖וֹת שְׁמֽוֹ׃
וְכָל־ מְלָאכָה֙ לֹ֣א תַעֲשׂ֔וּ בְּעֶ֖צֶם הַיּ֣וֹם הַזֶּ֑ה כִּ֣י י֤וֹם כִּפֻּרִים֙ ה֔וּא לְכַפֵּ֣ר עֲלֵיכֶ֔ם לִפְנֵ֖י יְהוָ֥ה אֱלֹהֵיכֶֽם׃
וְיָֽרָבְעָ֗ם הֵסֵב֙ אֶת־ הַמַּאְרָ֔ב לָב֖וֹא מֵֽאַחֲרֵיהֶ֑ם וַיִּֽהְיוּ֙ לִפְנֵ֣י יְהוּדָ֔ה וְהַמַּאְרָ֖ב מֵאַחֲרֵיהֶֽם׃
כִּי־ יִמָּצֵ֣א חָלָ֗ל בָּאֲדָמָה֙ אֲשֶׁר֩ יְהוָ֨ה אֱלֹהֶ֜יךָ נֹתֵ֤ן לְךָ֙ לְרִשְׁתָּ֔הּ נֹפֵ֖ל בַּשָּׂדֶ֑ה לֹ֥א נוֹדַ֖ע מִ֥י הִכָּֽהוּ׃
וַיְהִ֗י כַּֽאֲשֶׁר֙ שָׁ֣ב שָׁא֔וּל מֵאַחֲרֵ֖י פְּלִשְׁתִּ֑ים וַיַּגִּ֤דוּ לוֹ֙ לֵאמֹ֔ר הִנֵּ֣ה דָוִ֔ד בְּמִדְבַּ֖ר עֵ֥ין גֶּֽדִי׃
וְאָחָז֙ הוֹלִ֣יד אֶת־ יַעְרָ֔ה וְיַעְרָ֗ה הוֹלִ֛יד אֶת־ עָלֶ֥מֶת וְאֶת־ עַזְמָ֖וֶת וְאֶת־ זִמְרִ֑י וְזִמְרִ֖י הוֹלִ֥יד אֶת־ מוֹצָֽא׃
אֵ֖לֶּה מִשְׁפְּחֹ֣ת הָרֻֽאוּבֵנִ֑י וַיִּהְי֣וּ פְקֻדֵיהֶ֗ם שְׁלֹשָׁ֤ה וְאַרְבָּעִים֙ אֶ֔לֶף וּשְׁבַ֥ע מֵא֖וֹת וּשְׁלֹשִֽׁים׃
כִּי֩ הִנְנִ֨י מְשַׁלֵּ֜חַ בָּכֶ֗ם נְחָשִׁים֙ צִפְעֹנִ֔ים אֲשֶׁ֥ר אֵין־ לָהֶ֖ם לָ֑חַשׁ וְנִשְּׁכ֥וּ אֶתְכֶ֖ם נְאֻם־ יְהוָֽה׃
Give heed to me, O LORD, and hearken to the voice of them that contend with me.
They sent a letter unto him, wherein was written thus; Unto Darius the king, all peace.
I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last.
Remove not the old landmark; and enter not into the fields of the fatherless:

yadi stotaaraH shataM yat sahasraM gRNanti girvaNasaM shaM tad asmai
uta raatriim ubhayataH pariiyasa uta mitro bhavasi deva dharmabhiH
ye vaa sadmann aruSaa viiravaaho huve devaanaaM janimaani sattaH
indro madhu sambhRtam usriyaayaam padvad viveda shaphavan name goH
havaa id aryo abhitaH sam aayan kiyad aasu svapatish chandayaate
yaadRshmin dhaayi tam apasyayaa vidad ya u svayaM vahate so araM karat
dvidhaa suunavo .asuraM svarvidam aasthaapayanta tRtiiyena karmaNaa
yat sampRcham maanuSiir visha aayan tvaM nRbhir ajayas tvaavRdhebhiH
yame iva yatamaane yad aitam pra vaam bharan maanuSaa devayantaH
aa dasyughnaa manasaa yaahy astam bhuvat te kutsaH sakhye nikaamaH
sa jaayamaanaH parame vyo\many aavir agnir abhavan maatarishvane
gnaa vasaana oSadhiir amRdhras tridhaatushR~Ngo vRSabho vayodhaaH
vishvaa jaataani shavasaabhibhuur asi na tvaa devaasa aashata
yajaama in namasaa vRddham indram bRhantam RSvam ajaraM yuvaanam
sa tvaitebhyaH pari dadat pitRbhyo .agnir devebhyaH suvidatriyebhyaH
aa tuu na indo shatadaatv ashvyaM sahasradaatu pashumad dhiraNyavat
gantaa no yaj~naM yaj~niyaaH sushami shrotaa havam arakSa evayaamarut
indreSite prasavam bhikSamaaNe achaa samudraM rathye\va yaathaH
makhaa ayaasaH svasRto dhruvacyuto dudhrakRto maruto bhraajadRSTayaH
مَا أَصَابَ مِنْ مُصِيبَةٍ إِلَّا بِإِذْنِ اللَّهِ وَمَنْ يُؤْمِنْ بِاللَّهِ يَهْدِ قَلْبَهُ وَاللَّهُ بِكُلِّ شَيْءٍ عَلِيمٌ
أَلَيْسَ اللَّهُ بِكَافٍ عَبْدَهُ وَيُخَوِّفُونَكَ بِالَّذِينَ مِنْ دُونِهِ وَمَنْ يُضْلِلِ اللَّهُ فَمَا لَهُ مِنْ هَادٍ
