קָצַ֣פְתִּי עַל־ עַמִּ֗י חִלַּ֙לְתִּי֙ נַחֲלָתִ֔י וָאֶתְּנֵ֖ם בְּיָדֵ֑ךְ לֹא־ שַׂ֤מְתְּ לָהֶם֙ רַחֲמִ֔ים עַל־ זָקֵ֕ן הִכְבַּ֥דְתְּ עֻלֵּ֖ךְ מְאֹֽד׃
וְהָיָ֗ה כִּרְאוֹת֛וֹ כִּי־ אֵ֥ין הַנַּ֖עַר וָמֵ֑ת וְהוֹרִ֨ידוּ עֲבָדֶ֜יךָ אֶת־ שֵׂיבַ֨ת עַבְדְּךָ֥ אָבִ֛ינוּ בְּיָג֖וֹן שְׁאֹֽלָה׃
וַיִּתֵּ֨ן הַמֶּ֜לֶךְ אֶת־ בְּנָיָ֧הוּ בֶן־ יְהוֹיָדָ֛ע תַּחְתָּ֖יו עַל־ הַצָּבָ֑א וְאֶת־ צָד֤וֹק הַכֹּהֵן֙ נָתַ֣ן הַמֶּ֔לֶךְ תַּ֖חַת אֶבְיָתָֽר׃
וְכָלֵ֣ב בֶּן־ חֶצְר֗וֹן הוֹלִ֛יד אֶת־ עֲזוּבָ֥ה אִשָּׁ֖ה וְאֶת־ יְרִיע֑וֹת וְאֵ֣לֶּה בָנֶ֔יהָ יֵ֥שֶׁר וְשׁוֹבָ֖ב וְאַרְדּֽוֹן׃
וַיֵּצֵ֥א מן בת־ מִבַּת־ צִיּ֖וֹן כָּל־ הֲדָרָ֑הּ הָי֣וּ שָׂרֶ֗יהָ כְּאַיָּלִים֙ לֹא־ מָצְא֣וּ מִרְעֶ֔ה וַיֵּלְכ֥וּ בְלֹא־ כֹ֖חַ לִפְנֵ֥י רוֹדֵֽף׃
אִ֤ישׁ מֵרֵעֵ֙הוּ֙ הִשָּׁמֵ֔רוּ וְעַל־ כָּל־ אָ֖ח אַל־ תִּבְטָ֑חוּ כִּ֤י כָל־ אָח֙ עָק֣וֹב יַעְקֹ֔ב וְכָל־ רֵ֖עַ רָכִ֥יל יַהֲלֹֽךְ׃
וַאֲנָשִׁ֣ים צַדִּיקִ֗ם הֵ֚מָּה יִשְׁפְּט֣וּ אֽוֹתְהֶ֔ם מִשְׁפַּט֙ נֹֽאֲפ֔וֹת וּמִשְׁפַּ֖ט שֹׁפְכ֣וֹת דָּ֑ם כִּ֤י נֹֽאֲפֹת֙ הֵ֔נָּה וְדָ֖ם בִּֽידֵיהֶֽן׃
אַתָּ֣ה תְדַבֵּ֔ר אֵ֖ת כָּל־ אֲשֶׁ֣ר אֲצַוֶּ֑ךָּ וְאַהֲרֹ֤ן אָחִ֙יךָ֙ יְדַבֵּ֣ר אֶל־ פַּרְעֹ֔ה וְשִׁלַּ֥ח אֶת־ בְּנֵֽי־ יִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל מֵאַרְצֽוֹ׃
כִּֽי־ יָסִ֤יר אֶת־ בִּנְךָ֙ מֵֽאַחֲרַ֔י וְעָבְד֖וּ אֱלֹהִ֣ים אֲחֵרִ֑ים וְחָרָ֤ה אַף־ יְהוָה֙ בָּכֶ֔ם וְהִשְׁמִידְךָ֖ מַהֵֽר׃
וַיִּקְרָ֧א אֶת־ שְׁמ֛וֹ נֹ֖חַ לֵאמֹ֑ר זֶ֞֠ה יְנַחֲמֵ֤נוּ מִֽמַּעֲשֵׂ֙נוּ֙ וּמֵעִצְּב֣וֹן יָדֵ֔ינוּ מִן־ הָ֣אֲדָמָ֔ה אֲשֶׁ֥ר אֽ͏ֵרְרָ֖הּ יְהוָֽה׃
זְכֹר֙ לַעֲבָדֶ֔יךָ לְאַבְרָהָ֥ם לְיִצְחָ֖ק וּֽלְיַעֲקֹ֑ב אַל־ תֵּ֗פֶן אֶל־ קְשִׁי֙ הָעָ֣ם הַזֶּ֔ה וְאֶל־ רִשְׁע֖וֹ וְאֶל־ חַטָּאתֽוֹ׃
וְיֶ֙תֶר֙ דִּבְרֵ֣י יָֽרָבְעָ֔ם אֲשֶׁ֥ר נִלְחַ֖ם וַאֲשֶׁ֣ר מָלָ֑ךְ הִנָּ֣ם כְּתוּבִ֗ים עַל־ סֵ֛פֶר דִּבְרֵ֥י הַיָּמִ֖ים לְמַלְכֵ֥י יִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃
Be not a witness against thy neighbour without cause; and deceive not with thy lips.
I remember the days of old; I meditate on all thy works; I muse on the work of thy hands.
And thou saidst unto thy servants, Bring him down unto me, that I may set mine eyes upon him.
