ἔνθα τίνα πρῶτον Τρώων ἕλε Τεῦκρος ἀμύμων;
ἀλλʼ ἕπεο προτέρω, ἵνα τοι πὰρ ξείνια θείω.
πρὸς Τρώων; τῶν μή τις ὑπεκφύγοι αἰπὺν ὄλεθρον
ἀντικρὺ δὲ διέσχε φαεινοῦ δουρὸς ἀκωκή.
لِيَكْفُرُوا بِمَا آتَيْنَاهُمْ وَلِيَتَمَتَّعُوا فَسَوْفَ يَعْلَمُونَ
