וַיֹּ֤אמֶר לָהֶם֙ הַזַּ֔יִת הֶחֳדַ֙לְתִּי֙ אֶת־ דִּשְׁנִ֔י אֲשֶׁר־ בִּ֛י יְכַבְּד֥וּ אֱלֹהִ֖ים וַאֲנָשִׁ֑ים וְהָ֣לַכְתִּ֔י לָנ֖וּעַ עַל־ הָעֵצִֽים׃
וְאַחֲרֵי־ כֵן֩ קָבַ֨ר אַבְרָהָ֜ם אֶת־ שָׂרָ֣ה אִשְׁתּ֗וֹ אֶל־ מְעָרַ֞ת שְׂדֵ֧ה הַמַּכְפֵּלָ֛ה עַל־ פְּנֵ֥י מַמְרֵ֖א הִ֣וא חֶבְר֑וֹן בְּאֶ֖רֶץ כְּנָֽעַן׃
וַיָּ֤רֶב הָעָם֙ עִם־ מֹשֶׁ֔ה וַיֹּ֣אמְר֔וּ תְּנוּ־ לָ֥נוּ מַ֖יִם וְנִשְׁתֶּ֑ה וַיֹּ֤אמֶר לָהֶם֙ מֹשֶׁ֔ה מַה־ תְּרִיבוּן֙ עִמָּדִ֔י מַה־ תְּנַסּ֖וּן אֶת־ יְהוָֽה׃
וַיֹּ֛אמֶר אֶל־ בְּנֵ֥י יִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל לֵאמֹ֑ר אֲשֶׁר֩ יִשְׁאָל֨וּן בְּנֵיכֶ֤ם מָחָר֙ אֶת־ אֲבוֹתָ֣ם לֵאמֹ֔ר מָ֖ה הָאֲבָנִ֥ים הָאֵֽלֶּה׃
הֲבִנְהָרִים֙ חָרָ֣ה יְהוָ֔ה אִ֤ם בַּנְּהָרִים֙ אַפֶּ֔ךָ אִם־ בַּיָּ֖ם עֶבְרָתֶ֑ךָ כִּ֤י תִרְכַּב֙ עַל־ סוּסֶ֔יךָ מַרְכְּבֹתֶ֖יךָ יְשׁוּעָֽה׃
וְיַחֲזִיאֵ֡ל בֶּן־ זְכַרְיָ֡הוּ בֶּן־ בְּ֠נָיָה בֶּן־ יְעִיאֵ֧ל בֶּן־ מַתַּנְיָ֛ה הַלֵּוִ֖י מִן־ בְּנֵ֣י אָסָ֑ף הָיְתָ֤ה עָלָיו֙ ר֣וּחַ יְהוָ֔ה בְּת֖וֹךְ הַקָּהָֽל׃
