בְּר֥וּחַ קָדִ֑ים תְּ֝שַׁבֵּ֗ר אֳנִיּ֥וֹת תַּרְשִֽׁישׁ׃

uto nv a\sya yan mahad ashvaavad yojanam bRhad

ugrasya cin manyave naa namante raajaa cid ebhyo nama it kRNoti

ἵετο γὰρ βαλέειν· τὸν δʼ ἔκφερον ὠκέες ἵπποι.

yo nuunam mitraavaruNaav abhiSTaya aacakre havyadaataye

pra Na indo mahe tana uurmiM na bibhrad arSasi

tvam agne sahasaa sahantamaH shuSmintamo jaayase devataataye rayir na devataataye

ἵετο γὰρ βαλέειν· τὸν δʼ ἔκφερον ὠκέες ἵπποι

samaanam puurviir abhi vaavashaanaas tiSThan vatsasya maataraH saniiLaaH

πολλὰ μάλʼ εὐχομένω γαιηόχῳ ἐννοσιγαίῳ

yad dyaava indra te shataM shatam bhuumiir uta syuH

ὣς δʼ αὔτως Μενέλαον ἔχε τρόμος· οὐδὲ γὰρ αὐτῷ
