יָפִ֣יחַ אֱ֭מוּנָה יַגִּ֣יד צֶ֑דֶק וְעֵ֖ד שְׁקָרִ֣ים מִרְמָֽה׃

וַיִּקַ֖ץ כְּיָשֵׁ֥ן ׀ אֲדֹנָ֑י כְּ֝גִבּ֗וֹר מִתְרוֹנֵ֥ן מִיָּֽיִן׃

Thy father and thy mother shall be glad, and she that bare thee shall rejoice.

If by any means I might attain unto the resurrection of the dead.

Our necks are under persecution: we labour, and have no rest.

iishaanaaya prahutiM yas ta aanaT chuciM somaM shucipaas tubhyaM vaayo

pRkSasya vRSNo aruSasya nuu sahaH pra nu vocaM vidathaa jaatavedasaH

aapuurNo asya kalashaH svaahaa sekteva koshaM sisice pibadhyai

In the year of this jubile ye shall return every man unto his possession.

taM saanaav adhi jaamayo hariM hinvanty adribhiH

Give ear to my words, O LORD, consider my meditation.

إِنَّ شَرَّ الدَّوَابِّ عِنْدَ اللَّهِ الصُّمُّ الْبُكْمُ الَّذِينَ لَا يَعْقِلُونَ

shRNve viiro vindamaano vasuuni mahad devaanaam asuratvam ekam

vRSaa dadhanve vRSaNaM nadiiSv aa tubhyaM sthaatar hariiNaam

asmaakaM gira uta suSTutiM vaso kaNvavac chRNudhii havam

Receive, I pray thee, the law from his mouth, and lay up his words in thine heart.

There is a generation, O how lofty are their eyes! and their eyelids are lifted up.

ajakaavaM durdRshiikaM tiro dadhe maa maam padyena rapasaa vidat tsaruH

Brethren, if any of you do err from the truth, and one convert him;

sa saniiLebhiH prasahaano asya bhraatur na Rte saptathasya maayaaH

A gracious woman retaineth honour: and strong men retain riches.

rujad dRLhaani dadad usriyaaNaam prati gaava uSasaM vaavashanta

satyam enam anu vishve madanti raatiM devasya gRNato maghonaH
