וַיַּ֥עַשׂ הָרַ֖ע בְּעֵינֵ֣י יְהוָ֑ה כְּכֹ֥ל אֲשֶׁר־ עָשָׂ֖ה יְהוֹיָקִֽים׃

עָנָ֣ן וַעֲרָפֶ֣ל סְבִיבָ֑יו צֶ֥דֶק וּ֝מִשְׁפָּ֗ט מְכ֣וֹן כִּסְאֽוֹ׃

דַּלְתֵ֣י פָ֭נָיו מִ֣י פִתֵּ֑חַ סְבִיב֖וֹת שִׁנָּ֣יו אֵימָֽה׃

וַיַּ֥עַשׂ הָרַ֖ע בְּעֵינֵ֣י יְהוָ֑ה כְּכֹ֥ל אֲשֶׁר־ עָשָׂ֖ה יְהוֹיָקִֽים׃

οἳ δʼ ἵππους μὲν λῦσαν ὑπὸ ζυγοῦ ἱδρώοντας,

Lest he tear my soul like a lion, rending it in pieces, while there is none to deliver.

itiimam agnim amRtaa avocan barhiSmate manave sharma yaM+sad dhaviSmate manave sharma yaM+sat

ὁ δὲ εἶπεν αὐτῷ· Ἄνθρωπός τις ⸀ἐποίει δεῖπνον μέγα, καὶ ἐκάλεσεν πολλούς,

And as he entered into a certain village, there met him ten men that were lepers, which stood afar off:

All the ways of a man are clean in his own eyes; but the LORD weigheth the spirits.

καὶ ἐγερθεὶς ὁ Ἰησοῦς ⸀ἠκολούθει αὐτῷ καὶ οἱ μαθηταὶ αὐτοῦ.

Saying, Unto thee will I give the land of Canaan, the lot of your inheritance:

Rte sa vindate yudhaH sugebhir yaaty adhvanaH

κωφὸν γὰρ βέλος ἀνδρὸς ἀνάλκιδος οὐτιδανοῖο.

ashmavrajaaH sudughaa vavre antar ud usraa aajann uSaso huvaanaaH

Sing unto the LORD; for he hath done excellent things: this is known in all the earth.

τί ἐστιν εὐκοπώτερον, εἰπεῖν· Ἀφέωνταί σοι αἱ ἁμαρτίαι σου, ἢ εἰπεῖν· ⸀Ἔγειρε καὶ περιπάτει;

He healeth the broken in heart, and bindeth up their wounds.

And the man whose hair is fallen off his head, he is bald; yet is he clean.

قَالُوا اطَّيَّرْنَا بِكَ وَبِمَنْ مَعَكَ قَالَ طَائِرُكُمْ عِنْدَ اللَّهِ بَلْ أَنْتُمْ قَوْمٌ تُفْتَنُونَ

gira aa vakSat sumatiir iyaana iSam uurjaM sukSitiM vishvam aabhaaH

ὅς μοι τοιόνδʼ ἧκεν ὁδοιπόρον ἀντιβολῆσαι

εἰ γὰρ ὁ θεὸς τῶν κατὰ φύσιν κλάδων οὐκ ἐφείσατο, ⸀οὐδὲ σοῦ φείσεται.

Then Asa went out against him, and they set the battle in array in the valley of Zephathah at Mareshah.
