וְאַתָּ֥ה קָד֑וֹשׁ י֝וֹשֵׁ֗ב תְּהִלּ֥וֹת יִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃

יְ֭בָרֵךְ יִרְאֵ֣י יְהוָ֑ה הַ֝קְּטַנִּ֗ים עִם־ הַגְּדֹלִֽים׃

ἡ δὲ Ἡρῳδιὰς ἐνεῖχεν αὐτῷ καὶ ἤθελεν αὐτὸν ἀποκτεῖναι, καὶ οὐκ ἠδύνατο·

uuruu tad asya yad vaishyaH padbhyaaM shuudro ajaayata

abhiid u shakraH parashur yathaa vanam paatreva bhindan sata eti rakSasaH

When he made a decree for the rain, and a way for the lightning of the thunder:

dve naptur devavataH shate gor dvaa rathaa vadhuumantaa sudaasaH

The LORD preserveth all them that love him: but all the wicked will he destroy.

kathaa mahe rudriyaaya bravaama kad raaye cikituSe bhagaaya

And every creeping thing that flieth is unclean unto you: they shall not be eaten.

ὑμεῖς δὲ λέγετε· Ὃς ἂν εἴπῃ τῷ πατρὶ ἢ τῇ μητρί· Δῶρον ὃ ἐὰν ἐξ ἐμοῦ ὠφεληθῇς,

And of Naphtali a thousand captains, and with them with shield and spear thirty and seven thousand.

And it shall come to pass in that day, that I will seek to destroy all the nations that come against Jerusalem.

Make no friendship with an angry man; and with a furious man thou shalt not go:

acittam brahma jujuSur yuvaanaH pra mitre dhaama varuNe gRNantaH

tuutujaano mahemate .ashvebhiH pruSitapsubhiH

vishvam pashyanto bibhRthaa tanuuSv aa tenaa no adhi vocata

vy e\tu didyud dviSaam ashevaa yuyota viSvag rapas tanuunaam

Wherefore he saith also in another psalm, Thou shalt not suffer thine Holy One to see corruption.

وَأَيُّوبَ إِذْ نَادَى رَبَّهُ أَنِّي مَسَّنِيَ الضُّرُّ وَأَنْتَ أَرْحَمُ الرَّاحِمِينَ

And God set them in the firmament of the heaven to give light upon the earth,

قَالَ يَا مُوسَى إِنِّي اصْطَفَيْتُكَ عَلَى النَّاسِ بِرِسَالَاتِي وَبِكَلَامِي فَخُذْ مَا آتَيْتُكَ وَكُنْ مِنَ الشَّاكِرِينَ

Thou wast perfect in thy ways from the day that thou wast created, till iniquity was found in thee.

And she laid up his garment by her, until his lord came home.
