But it shall be more tolerable for Tyre and Sidon at the judgment, than for you.

And he shall restore the lamb fourfold, because he did this thing, and because he had no pity.

ime vaaM somaa apsv aa sutaa ihaadhvaryubhir bharamaaNaa ayaMsata vaayo shukraa ayaMsata

yuvam pedave puruvaaram ashvinaa spRdhaaM shvetaM tarutaaraM duvasyathaH

maayaa vaam mitraavaruNaa divi shritaa suuryo jyotish carati citram aayudham

tRtiiyo bhraataa ghRtapRSTho asyaatraapashyaM vishpatiM saptaputram

They shall bear thee up in their hands, lest thou dash thy foot against a stone.

Thus saith the LORD to me; Make thee bonds and yokes, and put them upon thy neck,

vasvo raayaH purushcandrasya bhuuyasaH prajaavataH svapatyasya shagdhi naH

shubhro vaH shuSmaH krudhmii manaaMsi dhunir munir iva shardhasya dhRSNoH

Then said Pilate to the chief priests and to the people, I find no fault in this man.

Mercy and truth are met together; righteousness and peace have kissed each other.

Are ye not then partial in yourselves, and are become judges of evil thoughts?

וְהָיָ֤ה לְאָדָם֙ לְבָעֵ֔ר וַיִּקַּ֤ח מֵהֶם֙ וַיָּ֔חָם אַף־ יַשִּׂ֖יק וְאָ֣פָה לָ֑חֶם אַף־ יִפְעַל־ אֵל֙ וַיִּשְׁתָּ֔חוּ עָשָׂ֥הוּ פֶ֖סֶל וַיִּסְגָּד־ לָֽמוֹ׃

וַיִּכְרֹ֨ת כָּל־ הַקָּהָ֥ל בְּרִ֛ית בְּבֵ֥ית הָאֱלֹהִ֖ים עִם־ הַמֶּ֑לֶךְ וַיֹּ֣אמֶר לָהֶ֗ם הִנֵּ֤ה בֶן־ הַמֶּ֙לֶךְ֙ יִמְלֹ֔ךְ כַּאֲשֶׁ֛ר דִּבֶּ֥ר יְהוָ֖ה עַל־ בְּנֵ֥י דָוִֽיד׃

וַיֹּ֤אמֶר יִפְתָּח֙ אֲלֵיהֶ֔ם אִ֣ישׁ רִ֗יב הָיִ֛יתִי אֲנִ֛י וְעַמִּ֥י וּבְנֵֽי־ עַמּ֖וֹן מְאֹ֑ד וָאֶזְעַ֣ק אֶתְכֶ֔ם וְלֹֽא־ הוֹשַׁעְתֶּ֥ם אוֹתִ֖י מִיָּדָֽם׃

וַיְהִ֗י גְּבוּל֙ בְּנֵ֣י רְאוּבֵ֔ן הַיַּרְדֵּ֖ן וּגְב֑וּל זֹ֣את נַחֲלַ֤ת בְּנֵֽי־ רְאוּבֵן֙ לְמִשְׁפְּחֹתָ֔ם הֶעָרִ֖ים וְחַצְרֵיהֶֽן׃

οὐαὶ δὲ ταῖς ἐν γαστρὶ ἐχούσαις καὶ ταῖς θηλαζούσαις ἐν ἐκείναις ταῖς ἡμέραις.

וַיָּב֗וֹא אֶל־ הַגּוֹיִם֙ אֲשֶׁר־ בָּ֣אוּ שָׁ֔ם וַֽיְחַלְּל֖וּ אֶת־ שֵׁ֣ם קָדְשִׁ֑י בֶּאֱמֹ֤ר לָהֶם֙ עַם־ יְהוָ֣ה אֵ֔לֶּה וּמֵאַרְצ֖וֹ יָצָֽאוּ׃

לִבְנֵ֣י עַמּ֗וֹן כֹּ֚ה אָמַ֣ר יְהוָ֔ה הֲבָנִ֥ים אֵין֙ לְיִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל אִם־ יוֹרֵ֖שׁ אֵ֣ין ל֑וֹ מַדּ֗וּעַ יָרַ֤שׁ מַלְכָּם֙ אֶת־ גָּ֔ד וְעַמּ֖וֹ בְּעָרָ֥יו יָשָֽׁב׃

וְנָתַ֨ן לָכֶ֧ם אֲדֹנָ֛י לֶ֥חֶם צָ֖ר וּמַ֣יִם לָ֑חַץ וְלֹֽא־ יִכָּנֵ֥ף עוֹד֙ מוֹרֶ֔יךָ וְהָי֥וּ עֵינֶ֖יךָ רֹא֥וֹת אֶת־ מוֹרֶֽיךָ׃

כִּֽי־ מִשַּׁ֣שְׁתָּ אֶת־ כָּל־ כֵּלַ֗י מַה־ מָּצָ֙אתָ֙ מִכֹּ֣ל כְּלֵי־ בֵיתֶ֔ךָ שִׂ֣ים כֹּ֔ה נֶ֥גֶד אַחַ֖י וְאַחֶ֑יךָ וְיוֹכִ֖יחוּ בֵּ֥ין שְׁנֵֽינוּ׃

עִ֥ם כָּל־ מַלְכוּת֖וֹ וּגְבוּרָת֑וֹ וְהָעִתִּ֗ים אֲשֶׁ֨ר עָבְר֤וּ עָלָיו֙ וְעַל־ יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל וְעַ֖ל כָּל־ מַמְלְכ֥וֹת הָאֲרָצֽוֹת׃
