brahmaNas pater abhavad yathaavashaM satyo manyur mahi karmaa kariSyataH

A wise man feareth, and departeth from evil: but the fool rageth, and is confident.

So ought men to love their wives as their own bodies. He that loveth his wife loveth himself.

madhor dhaaraabhir janayanto arkam it priyaam indrasya tanva\m aviivRdhan

yaabhiH kutsam aarjuneyaM shatakratuu pra turviitim pra ca dabhiitim aavatam

But be not ye called Rabbi: for one is your Master, even Christ; and all ye are brethren.

Should he reason with unprofitable talk? or with speeches wherewith he can do no good?

raayas poSaM saushravasaaya dhiimahi tad devaanaam avo adyaa vRNiimahe

dadhikraavaa prathamo vaajy arvaagre rathaanaam bhavati prajaanan

kaarmaaro ashmabhir dyubhir hiraNyavantam ichatiindraayendo pari srava

I made me gardens and orchards, and I planted trees in them of all kind of fruits:

na vaH pratimai sukRtaani vaaghataH saudhanvanaa Rbhavo viiryaaaa\Ni ca

Fear before him, all the earth: the world also shall be stable, that it be not moved.
