siMhaM nasanta madhvo ayaasaM harim aruSaM divo asya patim

shaM no bhava hRda aa piita indo piteva soma suunave sushevaH

vishveSaaM tmanaa shobhiSTham upeva divi dhaavamaanam

mahyaM yajantu mama yaani havyaakuutiH satyaa manaso me astu

utoditaa maghavan suuryasya vayaM devaanaaM sumatau syaama

tvam agne varuNo jaayase yat tvam mitro bhavasi yat samiddhaH

samaanyaa viyute duureante dhruve pade tasthatur jaagaruuke

yenaa nir aMhaso yuuyam paatha nethaa ca martyam ati dviSaH

The way of the wicked is as darkness: they know not at what they stumble.

aa tvaa sushipra harayo vahantuushan havyaani prati no juSasva

yakSmam matasnaabhyaaM yaknaH plaashibhyo vi vRhaami te

iSireNa te manasaa sutasya bhakSiimahi pitryasyeva raayaH
