uurjo napaataM subhagaM sudiiditim agniM shreSThashociSam

And they laded their asses with the corn, and departed thence.

They shall lie down alike in the dust, and the worms shall cover them.

raNaa vaa ye niSadi kiM te asya puraa vividre kim u nuutanaasaH

The righteous shall inherit the land, and dwell therein for ever.

nuunam bhago havyo maanuSebhir vi yo ratnaa puruuvasur dadhaati

To turn aside the right of a man before the face of the most High,

madhor dhaaraam anu kSara tiivraH sadhastham aasadaH

Then they also which are fallen asleep in Christ are perished.

Then let me sow, and let another eat; yea, let my offspring be rooted out.

And when he hath found it, he layeth it on his shoulders, rejoicing.

mitraaya vocaM varuNaaya saprathaH sumRLiikaaya saprathaH

o Su vartta maruto vipram achemaa brahmaaNi jaritaa vo arcat

The snare is laid for him in the ground, and a trap for him in the way.

vasur agnir vasushravaa achaa nakSi dyumattamaM rayiM daaH

griivaabhyas ta uSNihaabhyaH kiikasaabhyo anuukyaaaa\t

janitaagner janitaa suuryasya janitendrasya janitota viSNoH

shitipRSThaa vahataam madhvo andhaso vivakSaNasya piitaye

upahvare yad uparaa apinvan madhvarNaso nadya\sh catasraH

Then he turned his face to the wall, and prayed unto the LORD, saying,

uurdhvo graavaa vasavo .astu sotari vishvaa dveSaaMsi sanutar yuyota

devaa etasyaam avadanta puurve saptaRSayas tapase ye niSeduH

That they were graven with an iron pen and lead in the rock for ever!

For the multitude of the people followed after, crying, Away with him.
